About Raffaelle's Italian Kitchen and Bar
We have been serving food to the Bearsden and Milngavie community for over 30 years. This being our first venture into the restaurant industry from the fast food business, we will certainly aim to offer the same high quality service and food.
Raffaelle's is our way of bringing a piece of Italy home .Offering you a unique dining experience with traditional recipes, good quality service and relaxed surroundings.
Combining our trained talents from our ancestors with the experiences of our own you can enjoy the simple yet delicious food and handpicked wines in a contemporary decor.
Food and service very good, thought wine was a bit pricey
Lovely friendly atmosphere and great food as always
Although we had reserved a table well in advance, the table we were offered was at the enterence to the toilets.
Food and wine good as usual
Good food with very pleasant service
Good food - man sized portions for hungry boys !
Excellent food, friendly service, very attentive staff. Will certainly be back.
Great food as usual, service very quick and efficient, if sometimes a little bit too swift, felt we’d no sooner finished our starter than the mains were presented in front of us, overall very good, 3rd time we’ve been now and we’ll definitely be back.
Food always good, staff always pleasant and a nice place to sit. All in all, everything you want from a neighbourhood restaurant
Service was a little bit slow in terms of taking the order but the waiter who served us was extremely friendly and the food was absolutely delicious- we will definitely be visiting again!
My husband and I got a gift voucher from our son and daughter in law for Christmas, my daughter in law was not advised that this voucher is only valid for 6 months. Unfortunately for us it was out of date. The food was excellent very expensive and I think it would have been a nice gesture if we had been given a complimentary bottle of wine, but sadly this was not to be. Will not be going back and please note if you get a voucher it is only valid for six months.
We booked as a party of 6 for a late Sunday Lunch. We received a very warm welcome. Our group chose various versions of the prix fixe and were all very pleased with our food. Staff were friendly and helpful and the bill didn't break the bank. Thank you.
Love Raffaelles, always a fantastic experience. We get a warm welcome back every time
Delicious food and servers really pleasant
One waitress really good but other disinterested and kind of threw cutlery and bill on the table. She was maybe having a bad day but everything else excellent.
This was about our 7 or 8th visit to the restaurant, and every time it has always been excellent, food, and service 10/10. Our last visit was for a joint wedding anniversary / birthday, and upon request they even played our first wedding dance song. Will for sure eat there time, and time again to come.
Lovely family meal, good value early dining
Had a fantastic dinner at Raffaelle’s, food was amazing and great value for money on the early dinner menu. Lovely atmosphere with friendly staff, will definitely be back!
A lovely meal and staff as always.....thanks for a great birthday lunch for my son.
Great good, staff lovely but £9.50 for a large glass of PG and £5.50 for a half lager pint shandy is excessive! Next time we’ll be on tb soft drinks, wouldn’t come for a boozy night 🤑
The service was great from the staff although on the night I was in the food took a while to come out due to it being very busy and the kitchen struggling to keep up but we were well informed and didn’t mind the wait as I was in no rush that night.
Great as always
We love the food, good quality and wide menu, great service and generally everything about Raffaelle’s. However, I do have one major criticism which would potentially influence our decision to come back soon, and that is why I gave atmosphere 3 stars rather than 5. We have visited about half a dozen times this year, just the two of us, with visiting family, or with some friends. On all occasions, the music is just that little bit too loud. We both have no problem with background music, I am in fact a big music fan, but it would be perfect if it was just turned down a notch or two! Conversation with two people isn’t too bad although you do have to lean across the table, but with four people in the party, it was more difficult and became irritating, to the point that one of our party asked for it to be turned down at an earlier visit. This was done quickly and just enough to still be pleasant, and it allowed conversation and a much more enjoyable evening. Just that little tweak would make everything pretty much perfect (Pinot Grigio just a little bit over priced maybe at £24.95 - although have to say, it was very nice and probably wouldn’t stop me buying it again!)
Excellent food served by friendly staff!
