RACINES - LUNCH & DINNER
Racines, located on the fifth floor, is a place offering a Chic Bistronomie. It features an interactive, casual chic dining experience where guests will experience a distinctive culinary journey with animation as a key element.
Racines will have a completely different look and feel from breakfast at night, when soft touches such as changes of table settings and uniforms create an entirely new ambiance. The restaurant will be informal yet innovative, with each show kitchen brought to life by chefs in action. The focus will be on French and local modern cuisine, prepared with authentic tastes and recipes using sustainable (local) and seasonal products. Fresh herbs and honey will come from the hotel garden and apiary which surround the space.
A selection of signature waters from around the world will be presented and served with the choice of berries, lime, lemon or mint.
Wine matches will be carefully selected to complement each dish.
All guest will receive a ‘Farewell Gift’ to ensure the last memory of Racines is not the payment. This gift can be for example a ‘brioche with jam for breakfast’ presented in a beautiful box with a compliment note from the Executive Chef.
Greeted with warm welcome at the recept. Service crew is knowledgeable. Service is prompt. Overall a superb dining experience.
Staff were polite and helpful. Lovely ambience. Will definitely return soon for another meal.
Nice ambience and food was good. The souffle was one of the best we had. Sparkling water at $16 was one of the more expensive among the top end restaurants.
Took the Magnific Brunch and felt the limited food variety does not justify the price.
very beautiful place, nice serving crew with politeness and very welcoming. Food was so-so, but overall experience was awesome when i visited the Sunday Brunch. They even prepared a small piece of cake to celebrate my friend birthday. Thank you Racines.
Friendly and excellent service staff.
I want to thank Shankar and his team including Rama, Jas and Chi Wei who always provide such warm hospitality and great service whenever we dine at Racines. They are always attentive and helpful to cater to my dietary requests (vegetarian requirements). We always have a very enjoyable dining experience especially when we host our dinner there with our friends. Keep up the good work!
Service is always amazing from the minute I step into the lounge area and greeted by Sam and his team...To the lunch in Racine.. Service is the no.1 reason why we keep going back and find it a great place to conduct business and for personal down time.
We felt The seafood was not fresh. The shashmi was average, the raw oysters had small bits of ice on the flesh, the crab flesh was very difficult to come apart. The cooked lobster however was very hot and tasty . The other hot cuisines were very nice
Was very nice experience dinning at Racines. Floor crews could be more observed.
Great location with good value lunch menu. However the entrance of restaurant is too obscure. I entered through the back entrance from the hotel lift lobby.
Great to be able to choose from either French or Chinese menu and mix
Very nice atmosphere, good food, very good service. Will go again with my family.
Fried rice with grilled king prawns is superb. However the ee-fu noodles is quite a disappointment given it is the same price as fried rice.
The staff are so attentive and proactive simply delightful.
Food was ok, portion size was skightly on the small side. Food was slightly over salty.
Lovely food as always as well as the service ! Never fails to impress ! Will keep going back
The roast pigeon portion is too small for the price. Nevertheless, the beef cheek is my all time favourite. Staff service is also superb and that’s what draws me back to the restaurant too.
Light airy restaurant. Comfortable and not too loud.
Food presentation visually appealing and the restaurant is pretty but lacks food variety and taste/food quality is also not up to par to justify the lack of variety. Seafood is fresh but ran out of oyster half way. Service was good in the beginning but as time passed on, service slacked off- water and drink not being refilled, buffet station personnel busy looking at their phone etc.. Even with credit card promotion, did not feel it’s value for money.
Was not please that my chope reservation was cancelled without first consulting me
Great restaurant but every great restaurant now has a great burger..perhaps ?
The new menu -- although missing the seafood tower -- is easier to read, splitting French and Chinese fine dining left and right. The fresh pan-fried foie gras and lamb are sure winners. The compressed octopus and pigeon are also interesting new paths to try. Don't miss the soufflé with mango sherbet, already sure to please!
