RACINES
Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant will be informal yet innovative, with each show kitchen brought to life by chefs in action.

The focus will be on French and local modern cuisine, prepared with authentic tastes and recipes using sustainable and seasonal products.

The service sequence will be quick, attentive and personalised yet non-intrusive. Efficient Ambassadors will provide warm, seamless service from the heart.

Racines will be open throughout the day for guests to dine at their convenience, with a reduced menu available in between the key meal periods:

06:30am – 11:00am on weekends

Lunch: 12:00pm - 3 pm

RACINES - BREAKFAST
Breakfast at Sofitel Singapore City Centre offers a selection of global cuisines that appeal to the broad tastes of our well-travelled guests. Our guests will enjoy a healthy and luxurious start to their day, complemented by efficient yet personalised service to create a fresh and lively atmosphere.
The breakfast menu will blend Asian and western specialities and incorporate low calorie gastronomy options for lifestyle conscious guests in line with Sofitel De-Light guidelines.

Breakfast at Sofitel will be recognized as the ‘place to be’ for morning breakfast meetings. The best local Singapore classics will be served, including kaya toast, dim sum and bak kut teh.
RACINES - LUNCH & DINNER
Racines, located on the fifth floor, is a place offering a Chic Bistronomie. It features an interactive, casual chic dining experience where guests will experience a distinctive culinary journey with animation as a key element.
Racines will have a completely different look and feel from breakfast at night, when soft touches such as changes of table settings and uniforms create an entirely new ambiance. The restaurant will be informal yet innovative, with each show kitchen brought to life by chefs in action. The focus will be on French and local modern cuisine, prepared with authentic tastes and recipes using sustainable (local) and seasonal products. Fresh herbs and honey will come from the hotel garden and apiary which surround the space.
A selection of signature waters from around the world will be presented and served with the choice of berries, lime, lemon or mint.

Wine matches will be carefully selected to complement each dish.
All guest will receive a ‘Farewell Gift’ to ensure the last memory of Racines is not the payment. This gift can be for example a ‘brioche with jam for breakfast’ presented in a beautiful box with a compliment note from the Executive Chef.

The staff service has never disappoint me. I cannot remember how many times I have been there with family, friends and loved ones. Food is great! Staff are so friendly and responsive. Makes me feel at home each time I visit.

The fried eggplant was the best I have eaten. Light and flavoursome. I wish I had ordered it instead of picking it off a fellow diner's plate!

my 2nd time there to try out Chinese food. appetizer eggplant with meat floss is unique and good - crispy like chicken pop. main course - cod fish is good too but the beef cube, tendon is too small portion and broth is not hot enough just warm and very expensive for that portion. service and ambience are good.

Too few service staff hence there was no attention given to my table for 10pax. Some main courses were cold by the time last pax was served. A main course of pigeon was so salty. I will not recommend this restaurant.

first time trying this place.. all the main course are not good.. beef cheek is tender but not tasty, mutton and pigeon have raw taste. pigeon only found drumstick and breast no wing. lobster bique soup is nice.. lemon curd not sour enough

Chef keep on introduce roast beef, but never tell me the signature dish “lobster”. When I found it, already full. Not ready happy about it Oyster is good quality, unfortunately, don’t serve when empty, and replace by mussel. Just feel “ cheap”

Amazing service from every crew. Special thanks to Madna (sorry if i got his name wrongly). He went the extra mile to offer us fruit juices and recommend breakfast items. Would definitely hope to visit again. Thank you!

Totally enjoyed the pork belly and stuffed squid. The crab cannelloni was also splendid. The yong tau fu dish was a little underwhelming and more can be done to elevate the dish further. The staff were attentive too.

Firstly, I would like to give feedback about a few small tweaks in terms of the atmosphere. As much as the lighting is good for photos, it would be more cosy to dim the lights a little and play some light classy music in the restaurant. I loved the lobster bisque and the wagyu beef cheek. The octopus was ok - felt the portion was a little small. The pidan tofu was average. Dessert was great! Wine was fantastic - got a chianti. Service was excellent as usual (that’s what makes me love Sofitels). Will definitely be back!

We had the 3 course set and it took a while for the main course to arrive, about 20mins after the 1st course which made lunch a bit of a rushed affair. However, the food was tasty and the staff obliged our request to have our coffee in to-go cups as we had to leave quickly after dessert.

Great service on our family get together on Friday night. Really friendly and enjoyable evening for us. Menu is innovative even for the Anniversary Dinner set. We'll be back again.

Great atmosphere with privacy, attentive and friendly service from all the crews, delicious French cuisine for my birthday. We love our main dishes, the complimentary bread and salted butter as well as the sparkling water made the dinner perfect. The light bulbs above the tables with sofa area is not very comfortable for the diners. We asked to dim the light for us, still it's really too bright for a romantic dinner.
