About Quay 3
Quay Three is a modern restaurant and bar based at the heart of Swansea’s thriving SA1 development. Enjoy lunch or dinner whilst soaking in the panoramic views of the marina. You’ll be forgiven if you mistake the setting for a glamorous Mediterranean city.
Our vintage furnishings and unique ornaments combined with the exposed industrial ceiling, has created a stylish environment befitting of the impressive setting.
Afternoon Tea is served Friday to Sunday 12.00-16.00
The only suggestion I would have is that I think there should be a bit more savoury and a little less cake. We had 3 types of finger sandwiches (cucumber, tuna mayo and ham and cheese) and then 5 cakes each. Service was impeccable! Can’t wait to go back.
Great service from Lauren. The best waitress we have had in a very long while. She should be commended for her efforts. The food was excellent as was the atmosphere and enabled us to have a great last night in Wales.
Fabulous night, service was great, food was delicious my only complaint would be that we felt the seafood platter was too expensive for what we got. Would visit again but certainly would not choose a platter.
fantastic service amazing food
The service and staff were excellent. Thought the buffet was quite limited unfortunately.
as the weather was nice we thought an outdoor area at the front would have been good to soak up the sun
It took me three attempts to book for afternoon tea at quay 3. Each time I left my details. When we arrived you were not expecting us for afternoon tea. Sandwiches were hastily prepared & cake brought. The tea was ok. Only two of us out of five had a hot drink the rest had water yet we were still charged full price of £99! I did not make a fuss as it was to celebrate my daughter's 18th birthday. For what we received it was incredibly inadequate & overpriced, no salmon or prawns just cheese sandwiches, ham & tuna. Rainbow cake was ok but sliced thinly, others were OK. but not worth the money. I won't be recommending you to my friends.
We booked afternoon tea for 6 people. I had spoken to staff on 3 occasions as one of our party didn’t like tea/coffee so staff were aware this was for afternoon tea. However on the day when some of the party arrived we were told we were booked in for Al a carte menu and was a little off with one of the party when she said no afternoon tea had been booked and made this out to be our error (even though I had spoken to them 3 times about our afternoon tea booking) Although this didn’t get off to a good start the food and atmosphere was nice.
Already left a very negative feedback through Facebook. Well not recommend our go to quay 3 again.
I had the best steak I have had in years ! It was perfectly cooked and the chips seemed hand cut . Definitely recommend to everyone. The view is also lush.
Fab afternoon. Service was fab. Asked for no butter on sarnies only but was given dairy free plate as alternative and cakes not so nice but that was just a misunderstanding. Great atmosphere and venue. Thank you for everything.
Lovely meal and lovely wine. Was a bit cold as the door was open but when we mentioned it they closed the door and put the heating on so problem solved! Looking forward to returning.
A little bit disappointing for a hen party to be seated next to a little girls afternoon tea party. Gluten free fish cake looked as if the normal breadcrumbs had been scraped off to become ‘gluten free’. I’m sure the mums of these little girls were as disappointed as us in fairness. Would probably not return, many of the party felt the same. Such a shame.
Very attentive staff. Great food and all meals were hot.
Lovely view. Interesting, varied and and tasty menu and reasonably priced good quality house wine. Service was friendly and efficient and the complimentary carrot and cardamom soup was a nice added extra. Will definitely be visiting again
Second time having afternoon tea here and they didn't disappoint! Cake selection was fantastic.
Lovely afternoon tea. So many delicious cakes, we took some home. Plenty of tea and coffee. Loved it.
Amazing food, friendly staff and lovely restaurant! Perfect place for Sunday lunch in the sun by the water.
A very pleasant evening with a good selection of food and drink. Service was excellent.
Very good food.
Amazing service & especially the food! Definitely be coming back and will recommend this place to anyone
We spent £192 for an afternoon tea for a hen party. For the amount of money very disappointed with the food choice and amount of food. We ordered a vegan and choice was a peper in 2 slices of bread, not very imaginative.
Wonderful food, brilliant service and such a lovely atmosphere. My partner and I had the meat platter which was the tastiest meal I have had in a long time. Everything was cooked to perfection. I think the only comment I would make is that we didn’t realise it was £33 per person. It was our mistake as we didn’t read it properly and although the food was perfect, we felt £33 each was a little steep for what you had. The waitresses and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Service with a smile :) definitely will be coming back.
different and unique place, lovely setting on the marina. Afternoon tea was lovely just right for myself and a little no much for some but kindly allowed us to take leftovers home. Made special non alcoholic mocktails for our pregnant friend which were lovely. Lovely day and experience
