Supposed to have complimentary buffet lunch with my friend [as I checked in to stay on 07.07.2018] that afternoon but was told that buffet lunch was unavailable so I ordered ala carte instead. However, the dish I ordered [roti canai] was a disappointment because the chicken in the curry gravy was UNCOOKED and had to be re-done. Also, the roti canai pieces were burnt and rather flaky. Hope to see an improvement next time I dine there.
The restaurant did not have a record of my reservation at time of arrival, even though I have received a confirmation email for it. It was unprofessional and caused an unnecessary trouble to sit us. We were seated eventually after the staff managed to set up a table. Considering the ocassion, food was okay, the too-crowded-environment was not.
-Limited of food variety -Please do the cleaning works after operation hours -The price per person was not as informed before. (During reservation,i’ve been told by hotel rep that no charges for childrens below 12 years old.Howeever i’ve been charged after we’ve finished our dinner) -Please take out the advertisement inside the lift. Because children under 12 years old is no longer can eats free.
I am so disappointed with the booking through AccorPlus, Table Plus with Puzzle restaurant at Pullman Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia. Booking was done and confirmed with email received. When I reach the restaurant, the manager in charged for the restaurant told me the restaurant was fully booked and no table prepared for me. The staff and the manager at the restaurant looked clueless when I said I done my booking through AccorPlus. This is unacceptable. My booking was done through AccorPlus app, TablePlus with confirmation email received on the restaurant with booking reference of BL2YFTC. I am very disappointed with the service rendered by Pullman Kuching. The restaurant should have inform me if there was no available table or fully booked as I booked through your own AccorPlus app. Today's lunch suppose to be a surprise anniversary lunch arranged for my partner but the poor management of Puzzle restaurant and Pullman Kuching disappoint me. I was really disappointed when everything was confirmed and the moment I reach the restaurant and I was told that the restaurant are currently fully booked. I am expecting at least an email or call or even text to inform that the restaurant are fully booked before my appointed lunch time so I can prepare something else for my anniversary lunch instead of disappointment standing at the entrance of the restaurant with booking confirmation and not able to enter. Such a disappointment.
Very disappointed by the lack of food variety and the quality that does not speak of a 5-star hotel restaurant standard. The lobster cooking selection are limited and the only live cooking lobster station only serve hotplate lobster cooking with butter on it. The lobster does not taste well and some portion are even not properly cooked. Desert station are very poorly served with only a few bite size cakes and 2 pudding type. Overall, I will not recommend any friends to dine in this place given the high buffet price.
The lobster buffet dinner is rarely offered in any restaurant and it was such an excellent choice! Yet i would love to see more choices of grilled/baked like termidor lobsters being served.

Book my table for 3 but it was a turn down . They don't serve buffet on that day , n claim that they have called me twice but I did not answer the calls . In fact, there's no incoming call from the restaurant as they claimed . It's such an embarrassment especially when I have guest with me . Bad service
The staffs were friendly and the foods was very good.!! Will be my next checklist to dine.
The food is getting worst
when I arrived at the reception in the puzzle, my reservation was not known by the staff.they claimed that they havent received any instruction booking by management.but then they let me to just walked in and give me seats with my partner.when we want to order ala carte,the staff said they didnt serve ala carte that day (saturday) and only buffet.but I asked whether I can order for two ala carte because we decided not to eat buffet.after waited for some time,staff came with the menu and we ordered.when the food arrived, the lamb rack I ordered was quite ok tho the side dish was dissatisfied and not well cooked.plus there was no gravy at all.my partner ordered chicken breast,and it was not well cooked!half of it was still raw chicken and my partner stop from eating it.the only food that was ok were the cheese cake and mushroom soup.the staff services was kindda annoying and not friendly at all.lastly the price for the food is not value for money.its too expensive dinner for a service that was less than a service I can get at street local coffee shop.
