Perfect place to dine
Great service and food!
A very enjoyable evening.
Dinner was amazing and staff were very helpful. Drinks are quite expensive which would be the only downfall but we still enjoyed a nice red with our meals!
We always enjoy Prive 249 for the good quality food and service
Nothing but the best
Professional service, exceptional food. The Sovereign Rack of Lamb is a must try...
THEY WERE ESPECIALLY GREAT TO COME OUT WITH A SURPRISE FOR THE EVENING FOR MY GUEST AS IT WAS A FAREWELL DINNER. THANKYOU
I ordered the chefs special which was pork and veggies i was not impressed. The serving size was enough but the meal was ordinary My hubby ordered seafood it sounded very impressive on the menu but the taste and presentation was mediocre. Although i must say the sticky date was my favorite!
Thoroughly enjoyed the experience again.
Food was amazing!
As usual staff pleasant and helpful
Prive 249 has a great atmosphere, service and food - highly recommended!
This is one of our favourite places. The food and the service is always fantastic
Service was great. Food exceptional. We had a lovely time . Thank you .
We had a great night and the food was great too We really enjoyed a bottle of red with our meal
Is without a doubt Brisbane’s best fine dining restaurant. The service from Lhites, Gino and Rhys is second to none. Little things like remembering our favourite bottle of wine adds a special touch
Amazing food and service
Staff were her friendly
Indulgently delicious. At the high end of the price scale, but clearly expertly crafted and decent serving sizes. We we satisfied. Service was excellent. I did ask for my lobster tail to be cooked a bit more - I don't know if I'm missing some unique and high end way to serve lobster tail, but I do prefer it cooked completely through, and this one was quite rare. It was corrected to my taste, no problem. Dessert Creme Brulee was silky and smooth, wine (Phillip Shaw No.8) delicious. Seats are comfy, tables roomy, view lovely. Recommended.
Really great evening, food sensational, service knowledgeable, efficient without being intrusive. Menu comprehensive, wine list quite good and fairly priced for the surroundings and experience. Will be back!
Wonderful food (cooking, flavour, interest & presentation), and excellent, friendly, service. Lovely spot next to the clock tower. We were also treated to a complimentary plate of gorgeous quality (?hand-made) chocolates for our anniversary. Thank you for a delightful dining experience!
This was our first dining experience at Prive 249 as we usually dine at Thyme. The restaurant has a lovely setting and outlook and is set up well for intimate dining. The food was mostly enjoyable, not outstanding, for the main I had the Hot Seafood Platter which was good, however the star feature being the crayfish was overcooked. Wine was purchased by the glass and we were not asked which size, the waiter just automatically assumed large, so $66.00 for three glasses of wine was a little rich (once discussed with the waiter the bill was reduced accordingly). The service and wait time was slow, with the overall time from sit down to dessert taking 2 hours and 45 minutes. We will continue to dine at Thyme in future.
