About Prive 249
Privé249 is a stylishly indulgent chic dining experience offering both a la carte and set price menus in an exquisite location overlooking the Brisbane city lights
Very good as usual
Had Lamb special and tough not good
The food was fantastic and we had a lovely window seat however there were not enough wait staff as we had to wait a considerable time to order and even to get extra water as the waiter was run off his feet.
dinned here on Monday night and it was excellent the garlic mooloolaba prawns were the best dined again on Tuesday night and my wife and i had the prawns again and they were half the size and the dish was nowhere near the quality of previous night and service was slow
Every aspect was just beautiful. Would definitely recommend.
Excellent service. Quality of food very nice, my meal nicely seasoned, flavour are well balanced and nicely presented.
Excellent service and menu
Reasonable food, poor service, classy but dreary atmosphere. Probably not in a hurry to return.
Whilst our recent experience was nice it’s not what it used to be, Prive249 used to be true fine dining and now it’s just another nice restaurant. The food was nice as was the whole experience but it’s not to the same standard as it used to be, less choice and no degustation menu. A lot smaller wine list and the service was nice but in no way was it fine dining. It is a shame as we have been coming here for close to 10 years and it’s unlikely we will return for those special occasions as we have done in the past. It’s nice but so are a lot of restaurants in Brisbane, it no longer stands out as something special. Kids screaming and running about, waiters scrapping food from plate to plate are a couple of examples. It’s been good Prive249 but time have changed and so we will.
Once again a very good evening dinner
Excellent with 50% Accor dining discount!
Everything was very good and we will definitely recommend the restaurant to our friends.
Wonderful food, and as always very friendly and professional staff looking after us. Would highly recommend to anyone for a special occasion.
Good food. Nice atmisphere. Excellent service. We definitely come back.!
Nice but nothing special. Our fist waiter was great but the closing shift female (Asian) was not so friendly.
Lovely vibe... great venue
Can’t fault the service provided. Our waitress was lovely and everyone was very attentive and knowledgeable. The food was very ‘blah’ and nothing special. My entree had a lovely flavour but other than that it was just ordinary. It was also our ten year wedding anniversary which we mentioned in the comments when we booked and there was no recognition of this ... so why ask? Thanks all the same as we still Enjoyed our evening.
We found Staff very friendly, and helpful. Meals were good , Drinks a little on expensive side but Ok
Crayfish a little bland
This was our first dining experience at Brisbane Sofitel and it was a memorable one for positive reasons. Our youg French waiter from St Malo in Brittany was one of the best waiters I have encountered anywhere in the world - and I have travelled extensively). In addition, I worked in hospitality for many years and was voted Blue Mountains Wine Waiter of the Year at Fairmont Resort in the Blue Mountains during the early 1990s. May I suggest that the Waiter in question be promoted and given the task of training (or re-training) junior waiters in other Accor properties around Brisbane and SE Queensland. I believe Brisbane Sofitel currently offers the ultimate fine dining experience within the Brisbane CBD
Amazing food in an amazing setting with exceptional staff. Highly recommend
A great evening. A shout out to Josh for his attentive friendly service.
Outstanding service. The food was 5 star (compliments to the chef) and the ambience was perfect.
Beautiful food, excellent service.
