Prego is one of Singapore’s favourite Italian restaurants that offer diners an authentic Italian family style dining experience. The theme of Prego is Italian Trattoria, expressed in every aspect of the restaurant - from service style and communal dining, to décor featuring Parmesan wheels, Italian Prosciutto and sausages hanging from the awnings, to wood dining tables and carts for wine service by the glass, which gives an overall feel of a true Italian restaurant.
The Ribeye is full of sinew and Polpo is disappointing with tasteless meat and vegetables. The Codfish is good, soft and tender.
Good service provided
Food was below average. Friend ordered the vongole, but there was no depth in the flavours. Either to little white wine was used to prepare the vongole, of it was diluted. Cheese pizza was okay, but in terms of value, without the 50% off, I will not go to Prego.
Team leader taking orders was way too impatient. Wouldn’t hear us out. Scooted off before we could finish placing all our orders.
Linguine vongole was average. Other items (pizza, angel hair, calamari, Caesar salad, bread, octopus) were above average. Anniversary cake was a lovely touch. Service was excellent.
Lovely dining experience and great pizza as usual, looking forward to be back in July 2019 after the renovation.
We had a super fun time dining at Prego, as always. The restaurant is always busy, but the staff managed to keep their nerves and smiles. I was happy that we were again served by Vincent. Big shout to him for his prompt and jovial service. Thank you. We are going to miss the restaurant while you change.
Staff is very attentive!
Service was excellent. The restaurant looks quite run down so it is good to know you are renovating. My husband and I shared an appetiser of grilled octopus with fennel and baby potatoes which was cooked to perfection. My Husband had the wagyu sirloin for his main which was good; the wine reduction sauce was nice and thick and tasty. My main course, squid ink cappelletti with salmon, was a big let down; the salmon was overcooked, the pasta too thick and the whole dish very dry and hard to swallow as the salsa verde was dry when it should be a bit saucy.
Excellent service staff
Generally good dinner experience together with my US business partner. However I was quite disappointed with my squid ink pasta main. I had a bad diarrhea that evening. We had traced this to my main as we had shared a starter n the bread. I thought the pasta with salmon fillings tasted funny but I ignored it as we r in discussion n I do not want to look rude
Excellent service from asst manager and staff.
The food are really delicious!
This was my 2nd visit at Prego, I was surprise with the inconsistency of food portion comparing with my previous visit last month. This time round the qty of the Linguine Vongole is much more (I ordered the same dish). Same goes with the Funghi Pizza, the mushrooms are much more generous. Did you have a change of chefs in April? Anyway I return for the quality of food, the quantity this round is a bonus to me. Hope you guys keep it up.
The restaurant is spacious with comfortable seating. The food is very good with reasonable portion, unlike typical Italian restaurants which have huge servings. Overall a pleasant dining experience.
We had glorious time, my friend and I having dinner at Prego on Saturday 30th March 2019. I like to thank Calvin and Laura for their excellent service in helping us select the wines and food. Their knowledge and courtesy, I'm sure is of great benefit to your establishment. The dimming of the restaurant lights and lighting of candles created a romantic atmosphere. We know the prime purpose was the acknowledgment of Earth's Day but it really transformed the ambience. Thank you for such an experience. Fantastico! MR Claudio nevertheless with his charming disposition always makes dining at PREGO memorable! Bon Santé!
I go because I have the Accor dining card. At 50% off for 2 pax dining, its definately worth it. Otherwise it's not really worth paying so much.
The lobster pasta was good. The pizza average and the aglio olio noodles were not al dante and we had to send it back. Desserts are nice. Wait staff are very attentive
I was there celebrating my son's birthday. As compared to Hyatt Hotel, the service staff there were very creative with the singing of the birthday song. Also, they gave a full round cake of 3 inch diameter instead of a small slice .. such small efforts could go a long way to have your customers come back for more.
The air conditioning isn't really working well. It was a little stuffy on that night. Otherwise, great service and excellent food
Very satisfied with the quality of food and service
