Prego is one of Singapore’s favourite Italian restaurants that offer diners an authentic Italian family style dining experience. The theme of Prego is Italian Trattoria, expressed in every aspect of the restaurant - from service style and communal dining, to décor featuring Parmesan wheels, Italian Prosciutto and sausages hanging from the awnings, to wood dining tables and carts for wine service by the glass, which gives an overall feel of a true Italian restaurant.
My family and I enjoyed the spread at Prego (brunch buffet). The food and drinks were delish. My only complaint would be that Italian food is so carb heavy that I couldn't eat even more! P.S. The sirloin beef which is freshly grilled is amazing.
I believe there is a situation of short-handedness in the restaurant,
Tenderloin was overcooked. Other than that everything is fine.
Love the service of Swan ( hope I remember her name right ) Very attentive 👍👍👍
As usual, the staff were professional and friendly
World class service, even receptionists who took reservations are so professional. They tried to accommodate my request whenever I asked for a particular table number I would want to sit at. Prego is a wonderful place for catching up with friends.
Waited 1 hr to be seated. Another 40min bf we got our food. My family was there ard 7.30pm. We finish ard 10 plus. Waited 10 min to settle bill. Food is ok but not worth the wait and the price.
The staff is very professional and yet, welcoming
Wonderful service and good food; responded well to my cake request.
Service staff are attentive and knowledgeable. Menu is comprehensive and food is great. Highly recommended.
I have only good feedback on my recent experience during my recent lunch at Prego, except for one... the restaurant was supposedly ready at 12 pm. I was 5 mins earlier . By 12.10, I was told it was not ready . The queue was building up and and Prego staff didn't make an effort to pacify guests . They should be trained to manage such situation.
Requested to change seat cos it was extremely warm and it was still the same even after switching seats. Food was decent as one would expect of any Italian restaurant worth its salt. Portions are not as big as some of the other top Italian restaurants.
Food is nice and service from staff is good as they are attentive.
Had a very memorable birthday celebration for mum at prego’s buffet lunch . Chef Antonio and his team went the extra mile to cook the most amazing , scrumptious Italian spread that kept us all full and happy . The melt in your mouth foie gras was so sinfully delicious we didn’t bother counting calories .The staff were warm and friendly and the service impeccable . My Daughter loved the little play area for children and she scored a pony balloon on her way home. We wish Chef Antonio and his family all the best for their future endeavours . Will certainly miss his delightful cooking!
Our Go to place for a hearty Italian lunch!
Service was excellent that evening. All my guests were very happy. Thank you
Vincent have done a good job of serving our table and we really appreciate his serving that made us feel so welcome back to the restaurant again.
Overall very pleasant dining experience. Service perfect and food standard is good
The staff are hardworking n friendly
Food is tasty & ambience is great
A large establishment like this with relatively high prices should serve tap water for free. It’s apalling that it does not. We would have ordered other drinks anyway! And when asked, instead of explaining a caraf is $x the waiter said we don’t serve it and the only bottle was a bottle of mineral water. I later realised it was available and asked for it. Everything else was fine but just really annoyed by the water.
pizza is good but restaurant is under-staffed so take awhile to order and get their attention. Price is on the higher side.
Good food. Red wine recommended not as good. The waitress should have been more attentive to recommend the wine as we are having mostly seafood and white meat instead of just selling their wine. Other than that the night spent there was great.
1)The base of the pizza could have been more crispy as it was hard to pick up a slice without all the ingredients falling off 2)The sides of my steak was not done well. The garlic roasted potatos had no garlic taste or smell at all and the red wine sauce was overly sweet and thick.
