PRADO, a local neighbouhood restaurant, cooking mediterranean food over an open fire, and by the sea.
Open Tuesday to Sunday, closed Mondays.
Serving Lunch Tuesday to Friday, and brunch from 10am on Saturday and Sunday. Dinner from 5 to close Tuesday to Sunday
Food was a little cold when it arrived.
The neighbourhood menu was great value
I thoroughly enjoyed the food and drink offering. The first choice of wine was out of stock however I was satisfied with the second choice I picked. Service was slow. There was a long gap between courses and from ordering dessert to receiving it. The service was also a bit of a let down as we were sent over a round of drinks from another patron and had to ask twice to get them and convince the server that they had been paid for. Waited twenty mins for Bill to be dropped down. No sign, asked again and settled it but nobody came to collect it although we had coats on so had to leave it on bar. It felt as though once we eventually had our three courses that we were forgotten about. It was a Tuesday evening and a sitting for two people, three courses took over 3 hrs in total from arrival to departure. Food nice however a little on the pricey side and overall service was a let down.

Great night out with friends - perfect service, fun, attentive when needed then left us to it. The menu has great choices for a variety of diets - we all had fish off the grill for our mains, and it was delicious and cooked to perfection. The wine list had a nice range to it too (and cocktails, beers etc too). Lovely evening, we’ll go back.

The staff were very attentive and good. The food was nice but I just felt it was overpriced. You'd get nicer for cheaper in other places.
Lovely Sunday dinner. The cockles and mussels starter was delicious and the Roast beef was cooked to perfection. We had two children with us too who were very well looked after. Lovely ambience too. Highly recommend.
Definitely worth a visit.
The above rating are based on a deal we had . I'm not sure I would rate as highly under 'Value for Money' if we were choosing from the A La Carte menu
Once again excellent on every front. You have to!
My first time in prado was on Saturday the 2nd of November. I do not live in the area and was given a voucher as a present.. it was honestly one of the best meals I have ever had. The chorizo dish was incredible and the baked cheesecake was divine, I will 100% be back again and will highly recommend.
Wine list was pricey
Great night! Service superb.... Only gripe, I don’t understand why your side orders are so small? 5 boiled potatoes and 6 pieces of broccoli both at a cost of 3.95. These items cost very little... why not be generous? Small detail, but left feeling robbed. To many restaurants ripping people off with shocking portion size.
First time there, food was really good. Only had a couple of soft drinks so can’t really comment on the drinks. Will definitely go back.

Great staff, lovely food unfortunately your house Rose was a bit on the expensive side €36 but I will definitely go again.
A bit more vegetarian would be welcome.
