THANKYOU FOR THE FLOWERS GIVEN TO US ON ARRIVAL. 1.FOOD & DRINK - VERY BAD THE FOOD WAS NOT AT ALL UP TO THE MARK COLD FOOD WAS GIVEN TO US. 2.ATMOSPHERE-POOR 3.SERVICE - VERY BAD WE SAW THE BOYS OPENING THE CUPBOARDS AND THINGS FALLING OUT CUPS BREAKING.I MEAN THE BOYS ARE NOT TRAINED AT ALL. VALUE FOR MONE - I REALLY REPENT VISITING YOU .I HAVE WASTED MY MONEY AND SORRY TO SAY I WILL NEVER VISIT YOU AGAIN MY EVENING WAS WASTED. WE HAVE NEVER EVER HAD SUCH AN EXPRIENCE IN ALL THESE YEARS.

There I was, at a Sofitel property in a country known for great hospitality and attention, yet standing up and running after the waiters to get service. Never again.
The food quality was good but it lacks in taste.
Too much Indian food on offer and limited choice of international cuisine is something they can look into but no complains. Everything was nice. Too many deserts on offer.
See my previous review during dat tym i visited for lunch and enjoyed it but today was really dissapointed to see the quality of the buffet (being a brunch) have deteriorated, went to sofitel thinking about the japanese food along with global food selection but today found no sushi no salamis no mussels no prawns or squuid on the salad bar, amount of veg options have taken all over the non veg, for me brunch means a meal between breakfast and lunch that have dishes from both breakfast and lunch but could not find any sausage or a dosa counter any wer whatever nonveg dishes available found it to be overly cooked mking the meat dry or under cooked... In either way both were like chewing a rubber refilling of dishes was slow salad did not seem to be fresh specially the lamb salad, tuna was smelling terrible in tuna salad... Asked one of the restaurant manager about unavailability of sushi sashimi or mussels so the answr was vietnamese food festival is on so who says vietnamese people dont eat sushi or mussels you can keep mexican counter chaat and dhoklas counter where there was not even single guest but you cant keep japanese counter greaaaaaaat even after knowing very few restaurant serve japanese sushi and sashimi or mussels on thier buffet but not dis time. HIGHLY DISSAPOINTED!!! Even think about your parking space no parking or entry for 2 wheelers... Reaaaaaalllllyyyy???? Why so, only people who have cars can come to savour the buffet?
Good food and value for money
The prices for the alcohol was in the higher side and also although you have IMFL you must also have Indian brand higher end spirits because alcohol will be the only reason that will stop me from coming back.
Excellent ambience and great vibe all around, however the service staff are very dull and none of them have a smiling face. This just doesnt at all have a welcoming feeling.

Food was not good taste and quality wise and no proper service by waiter as they were busy with foreign guests. Also due to father day I didn’t got any discount on account of membership and was not informed of the same
I feel bad for this hotel, such a good brand good looking hotel, good looking restaurant but the food was just average! Funny thing is that the food tasted fine but in most cases the food was cold on the buffet or had dried up just lying in bowls and the service staff or the chefs not even bothering to keep stirring the food so that it looks fresh.. The FnB head of this hotel must be a really busy guy to not worry on what’s happening to his most popular restaurant. The person reading may think one bad experience but I actually visited twice and my experience has been similar. So let’s start with the dim sums good in taste but had become hard and dry in the basket, sushi was not appealing at all but then I waited to get some fresh made which turned out to be excellent. Salad and cheese counter seems good. The Chinese and Thai again same problem tastes good but the food has stayed in the service dish for so long that it looks horrible and you wouldn’t want to taste it. So if you come here and wish to enjoy a good meal as the chefs to make small portions for you then you will love it!! The surmai in hara masala again an outstanding dish but I actually hurt myself 4 times eating it coz of the bones wonder why would they serve fish with bones in it. The continental section here I’m sorry but the food didn’t even taste good, the seafood dishes or the meats nothing great to talk about. Now this is a French chain so you are hoping the desserts are going to blow your mind but even that doesn’t happen, the mithai tasted better than the other desserts, the panacotta was so bad that you wouldn’t want to take a second bite. I’m sorry for making this feedback so negative but I really would hope the fnb gets improved. I can only feel sorry for this place as it’s such a convenient location and a beautiful place but they have a fierce competition from Grand Hyatt which has been so good with its food from the day it open.

This is our place to be.We just look for a blatsnt excuse to cm to sofitel for munching.The chefs do a stand-out job in all tht they do.Sofitel always thinks out of the box when it comes to live-counters.Ur array of salads r so refreshing to even just stare at in summer.Plz continue with this determination and u will always be NU1 in whtever u dish out.Love the service team.The r.m’s here hv their boyz working in tandem with guest table from clearance to getting tht ordered drink.Keep it up.3cheers to all of u.
