duck scotch egg was tastier than a tasty tasteunit.
Exceptional service, lovely food, and nice atmosphere. Thank you.
Large group booking, we were well looked after. Food and drink were great.
Extremely attentive staff with a nice warm welcome. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal even though I couldn't manage a dessert.
Excellent. We had afternoon tea and it was delicious
Great lunch with friends. Would recommend.
Arrived for 5pm which was our reserved time and the table wasn’t yet ready, but that’s fine as we headed to bar for a drink. We were waiting at least 15 mins once at the table before we had to ask a worker for some menus. We specifically came for restaurant week however and was only given standard menus so had to ask again. When others arrived, the girl took order for our drinks and they tooo around another 15 mins. Service really was terrible but food was outstanding so kind of made up for it. Don’t think we will return though ☹️
Visited for restaurant week, so very good value for quality food. Staff were all lovely and friendly, but service was very slow. We were there 2.5 hours for 2 courses!
Thoroughly enjoyed our meal at PTMY
Terrible steak. Waitress pushing the porterhouse instead of 3 ribeye steaks. So much waste on the porterhouse compared with other steak houses. Over priced drinks. Rude staff. Would not recommend this place to any body. Only saving grace was 1 competent staff member who tried to resolve the issue with a discount and 2 ribeye steaks between 6 people... We declined the steaks.
Great service, friendly staff and as it was restaurant week great value for money!
Excellent value for money would recommend
Amy was a brilliant host for the evening, very personable and friendly which was great, but also very knowledgeable about the menu. We will definitely be back.
We enjoyed a lovely meal with excellent service.
Arrived early but table provided immediately. Unfortunately table was not suitable but staff found better table. Food delicious. Drinks good. Ambience perfect. Total price was a bargain as part of restaurant week.
Excellent initiative to attract customers for January. Starters was absolute heaven but the mains were good. However you’ll be spoilt for choice with their drinks!
A friend and I went for lunch during Restaurant Week (2-courses, £10). We both had the scotch duck egg to start and then the Venison Cottage Pie and the Risotto for mains. Beautiful. Great service too.
Excellent food on our visit during Restaurant Week. Great service from Adam. Only minor complaint was the icy blast every time the door opened. We'll be back!
I always receive excellent service and good value for money when I visit PTMY. It is one of my favourite restaurants in Newcastle!
Bread was late to arrive for main course mussels and could have cleared empty glasses from table throughout the meal
Rated lower for atmosphere due to very cold temperatures whenever the door to the street was opened.
Love this place! Great food and atmosphere and they have the best range of whiskeys and bourbons!
Returned to Pleased To Meet You for Restaurant Week and weren't disappointed. Always made welcome and food is spot on. Received great service and left fully contented. Will be back again for sure.
Food was absolutely lovely and service was great - 2nd time I've been here and loved it both times :)
