About Platform 61
Platform 61 is offering a bold, refreshing and healthy take on contemporary European cuisine.
Our story is inspired by the adventure that is Track 61, an abandoned underground platform under the famous Waldorf Astoria hotel in New York. This platform allowed VIPs to enter the hotel in a more private manner via a specially built private golden lift. One of the most famous VIPs that frequently used the platform was Franklin D. Roosevelt. Legend has it that Roosevelt’s armor-plated car would drive off the train, onto the platform and straight into the especially made golden elevator, which would lead to the hotel’s garage.
In 1965 the platform was used by the famous pop artist Andy Warhol for his ‘underground party’.
The quest for the platform, known as Track 61 has become a holy grail for many urban explorers.

Great spot for brunch, will definitely be back!
Nice atmosphere, Good food
We went for a girlie brunch and had a lovely time. Food was fantastic. Waitress was very attentive and helpful. Huevos Rancheros was excellent. Brownie was a little on the dry side. Mimosa was delicious. I will definitely return....
Booked this restaurant without any prior knowledge of reputation, was pleasantly surprised. Food was excellent as was the service. only reason it got a low mark on the atmosphere was that it was not full, it was 3:30pm on a week day coming up to xmas, but would say when it is full it would be scoring a higher mark. Would definitely try it again some evening.
Great food! I ordered Duck and the meet was so soft that was melting in my mouth. My friends got Jacob's ladder and they said the same about their meet. The venue is small but very welcoming. The staff was great! We were there for our Christmas Party but it would be a great place for romantics dinner too. Looking forward to order the Jacob's ladder next time.
First time in Platform 61 yesterday for brunch. We opted in for the bottomless cocktails and had our glasses always topped up throughout our sitting. Food was delicious! We loved the pear dessert. Service was very attentive and relaxed! Will definitely go back again.
Food was delicious and the mimosas were definitely bottomless!! Will be back again
The food was a bit cold
We were a large group coming on a Tuesday night. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Between all of us we had tried many dishes and the general consensus is that the food was good/very good except for the burgers that were over cooked/dry. Price wise, I believe they align themselves with Dublin prices (not cheap) but, as I said, food was good. The place is small so we occupied pretty much the entire place.
I had a great afternoon with friends! The staff were really helpful as we ran about 5 minutes late, will definitely be back over the Christmas period!
Very enjoyable evening for two with great food, service and atmosphere.
Lovely restaurant however very time sensitive and all about the 1.5hours on the table. We had our bill out well in advance which was off putting, the food and drink was very nice
Great food and atmosphere, service was a little slow but overall was a lovely meal
By far the best brunch my friends and I have had in Dublin. The food was very tasty, very well presented and extremely good value. 4/6 of us choose bottomless mimosas and our glasses were never empty...it was fantastic service by all the staff. I’d definitely be back and recommending also.
Amazing food, drink, and service!! The decor was fresh and fun, although it felt a little like a dim basement. Even though I understand what must be done to make endless mimosas economical, the brunch items were still quite pricey.
We had a good night
Love this place , food is delicious, staff is very friendly. It was my second but not last visit ❤️ See you soon
Everything was spot on,we will come back! 😁
Wonderful food, fab venue, great wine.
Food is delicious, with interesting & creative flavours. Lovely wine list.... Discovered this hidden gem last month with my sisters and was back last weekend for a quick early dinner, booked online with ease... Super staff n service... Crème brûlée is a 'must try'. “Thank you guys, its lovely to eat out in a place where people are passionate about what they do!“
Food and wine were very good and excellent level of service
Great brunch menu, lovely food and excellent service. Will definitely be back
