About Platform 61
Platform 61 is offering a bold, refreshing and healthy take on contemporary European cuisine.
Our story is inspired by the adventure that is Track 61, an abandoned underground platform under the famous Waldorf Astoria hotel in New York. This platform allowed VIPs to enter the hotel in a more private manner via a specially built private golden lift. One of the most famous VIPs that frequently used the platform was Franklin D. Roosevelt. Legend has it that Roosevelt’s armor-plated car would drive off the train, onto the platform and straight into the especially made golden elevator, which would lead to the hotel’s garage.
In 1965 the platform was used by the famous pop artist Andy Warhol for his ‘underground party’.
The quest for the platform, known as Track 61 has become a holy grail for many urban explorers.

Food was great, flavours, quality and presentation in a relaxing atmosphere.
The bathrooms aren't the best and would be a turn off. Food is good but the bottomless brunch is expensive for one course.
Was quite busy and is a small enough space but excellent if you like a bustling brunch and a lively mood! Very convenient location and lovely, cosy interior.
The service was exceptional. The staff were so friendly and helpful with the birthday cake for our friend and made sure we were happy throughout the meal. A really nice chilled out atmosphere.
Another really enjoyable evening at Platform 61. Food fantastic with attentive & friendly service. Would highly recommend.
Thanks a lot! Every things was perfect. I highly recommend!
Fantastic food and wonderful service!
Amazing experience! Food was incredible and our waitress was so attentive. Will definitely return.
The food was excellent, the mimosas were fantastic and the whole atmosphere of the restaurant was great. A must do if you are on a girls trip to Dublin!
Went here as a group of 7 for bottomless brunch before we went to the Spice Girls concert! Everyone in the restaurant was actually going to the concert so the staff played their songs throughout the brunch! Great atmosphere! Food was amazing, cocktails kept flowing and the service was excellent! Highly recommend!
Cosy, friendly atmosphere, helpful, polite people, delicious food. What more do you need? Amazing, no trouble gluten free alternatives!! Thank you. 😃👍
Great service from all staff (especially Victor!), the food was lovely and the bottomless mimosas were excellent value!
Lovely early bird meal
Excellent service with excellent food!
Loved our brunch There was a slight mix up on my reservation after we called to check if we could delay our booking by 30 mins and told no problem. When we arrived, there was an issue as the reservation hadn't actually been amended. However the hostess immediately rectified this and moved some seats around for us. Food was delicious and there was no shortage of bottomless mimosas! Thank you
I booked platform 61 for Sunday afternoon, after reading the menu online, was really looking forward to my reservation. Its location in the south William Street basement was quirky and cool. The service was excellent from start to finish. The food which after all is what I came for, was amazing. My partner had the goats cheese for starters and burger for mains, I had the beef cheek for starter and the jackobs ladder rib dish for mains, fantastic ingredients, well seasoned and perfectly cooked, seriously couldn't find any fault. Without a doubt I'll be back.
Food absolutely gorgeous!
Lovely evening with friends
Really enjoyed the food and drink. However didn’t appreciate the abruptness of having to leave after the hour and a half. Would’ve enjoyed a bit longer to chat and would’ve liked to have been offered tea or coffee or any extra food etc. I understand the bottomless mimosas only last 1.5hours but it would’ve been nice to have been able to stay on a little longer. We felt as though we were being kicked out, and given the amount of money we spent this would make me not want to come back.
The food was very good, friendly service and mimosas kept being topped up.
Celebrated my sisters hen party here. We had a pre arranged price for bottomless brunch which we thought was reasonable. The food was nice and service was good. However there was an €80 service charge added to the bill also, which wasn’t mentioned upon booking. This was frustrating as I had to pay this myself because it wasn’t accounted for as part of the hen party price. We were more than happy to leave a decent tip but €80 is a crazy service charge price.
Platform 61 is one of the best places for brunch in Dublin. The service was excellent and everyone in our group loved their food! Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy a leisurely meal.
Lovely ambience, great service and attention to detail. Providing de cafe coffee should be considered
