About Platform 61
Platform 61 is offering a bold, refreshing and healthy take on contemporary European cuisine.
Our story is inspired by the adventure that is Track 61, an abandoned underground platform under the famous Waldorf Astoria hotel in New York. This platform allowed VIPs to enter the hotel in a more private manner via a specially built private golden lift. One of the most famous VIPs that frequently used the platform was Franklin D. Roosevelt. Legend has it that Roosevelt’s armor-plated car would drive off the train, onto the platform and straight into the especially made golden elevator, which would lead to the hotel’s garage.
In 1965 the platform was used by the famous pop artist Andy Warhol for his ‘underground party’.
The quest for the platform, known as Track 61 has become a holy grail for many urban explorers.

I would recommend the steak
Great food, very friendly and helpful staff, will definitely go back again. All four of us enjoyed our meals and the overall evening.
The food was amazing, the atmosphere lovely, and the service was wonderful. My only issue is that the house-wine was overpriced and not very nice. Neither was it chilled properly. I asked the waiter to put ice in the chiller, which he did very graciously.
We had a lovely meal here on Sunday. the food was delicious, very flavoursome. The staff were very attentive and friendly.
Great restaurant,food and service excellent
Great spot for a brunch and I'm excited to head back and try the new evening menu
Wonderful food and service!
The staff were so friendly and extremely efficient. The food was delicious and there was a lovely atmosphere. I went with a group of friends and we really enjoyed it. We had the bottomless mimosas which the staff were really quick to top up. Would def come back again!
Very good service from who I assume to be the owner or manager. Made us feel very welcome.
Dinner was delicious as usual. Excellent service from the handsome & very tall Viktor. 😉 would definitely recommend & will definitely return 🤩
Enjoyed a lovely dinner at Platform 61 last night. Only we were pushed for time, we would have ordered desert. The starters and mains we had were gorgeous. Have already recommended the restaurant to my colleagues.
Everything is incredibly amazing in this place. The fiod, the service, bottomless mimosas, and the very positive and friendly staff are all the reason for me to come back every single Sunday for a delicious brunch.
We had a fantastic afternoon in Platform 61. Great atmosphere, great food and great service. We were told we would have to give our table back by 3.30 when booking and the staff were so kind to top us up at 3.30 allowing us another mimosa which was very much appreciated! Will definitely be back soon.
Fabulous diniñg experience. The food was really tasty the service was great and it was great value for money. There's a lovely atmosphere and its hard to believe you are dining in the heart of Dublin.
Excellent value for money. Great service and great food . Will definitely go back

The table we were sitting at (by the wall ) was too dark.
