Set up in a restored pavillon inside Tanner street park, we served delicious breakfast including croque monsieur & omelette. For lunch & dinner, come and enjoy some rustic & comforting food, our main speciality being the poulet de Bresse.
We loved the cozy atmosphere and friendly service. The food and wine were outstanding. We got the rotisserie chicken for two with potatoes and salad, and talked about the quality of the meal several times over the next few days.
Piqu-Nique is my absolute favourite restaurant around Bermondsey Street. Everything from the food, to the staff and the venue is divine! The share plates are amazing. The veal chop we had recently was sublime and the souffle is parfait!
Great food and services. Everyone including my two young daughters enjoyed our meal.
Great apart from very slow service
i went with my Saturday night and did not enjoy the experience...people on two tables next to us shouting rather than speaking in normal voices...it was like dining in a football stadium...some of your customers should have some manners and consideration for other people...we didn't stay for dessert and wont be coming back...Neil
Great place, lovely, hearty food, top staff BUT lousy music played too loud.
Food was fab, service was v friendly, but they forgot our sides and the gap between the starter and the main course was to long
Food very good. Portion of cheese was huge - much greater than my appetite at that stage. Make more money by reducing portion size!
Such a nice set up and great food. Always a relaxing and enjoyable evening. A gem
Our favourite restaurant, great French food and friendly service in a unique setting.
Great food, authentic feel, extremely fresh and tasty!
Friendly & accommodating staff, delicious food. Lovely little hidden gem serving classic french bistro meals, a great sister restaurant to Casse Croute. Would recommend a visit!
Thank you so much for a lovely (if slightly rushed) meal. Food was delicious, as expected! I wish we could have lingered over a longer supper (with more wine!) but it was a Monday night and we had theatre tickets. We will most certainly be back! Merci beaucoup les gars! My only piece of feedback is that there is a building being redone (or something) right beside the outdoor seating area, which is an eyesore. It will be even more lovely when that’s done!
I took work colleagues there and a great time was had by all.
Lovely place to be. I feel very peaceful and always am confident that I'll have good food and wine. My 5th time being there.
If you want a little corner of France with a British twist when it comes to the wine list and the menu, this is the place for you. Merci beaucoup l’équipe et à bientôt !
Fantastic food and atmosphere
Will definitely be coming back, great food, staff and service, thanks
Great food and great atmosphere for my second visit. Slightly disappointed however, having checked beforehand, that there would be vegetarian options, there was not a vegetarian option for a main course. It was a shame as the only things my daughter could eat were the artichokes and the aubergine rolls starters, the latter not very exciting compared to my delicious monk fish cheeks and my other daughter's steak. One vegetarian rustic dish would fit the bill nicely.
An off-beat delight.
Lovely restaurant. Music just a tad too loud for my ageing parents, but not overly so. Lovely atmosphere and staff.
What an amazing place ! we can’t wait to visit again , a little gem in a very peaceful location, fantastic food and wine served the French way slowly but with lots of love x
Delicious, lovely, charming. We’ll be back soon.
