Set up in a restored pavillon inside Tanner street park, we served delicious breakfast including croque monsieur & omelette. For lunch & dinner, come and enjoy some rustic & comforting food, our main speciality being the poulet de Bresse.
Great service from the bearded maitre d. Food really great
delicious food and wine, great discovery. you definitely need to book if you want to try this restaurant, since it's quite small. The only downside is that we had to rush through dessert and coffee since our booking was for a specific amount of time and we had to vacate the table on the dot - that was not so great in terms of experience, but the food was really fantastic.
Good food and friendly and knowledgeable staff.
This is a quirky, fun place to meet friends for supper. The food was delicious and I loved the place itself. The staff are a bit unwelcoming sadly (with odd moments of friendliness!)
Epic as always
Lovely little restaurant.
Service could’ve been a little bit more attentive and careful in explaining the menu. Standard wine list could be better.
We went for breakfast and had a really good time! The staff was really nice, efficient and accommodating. The atmosphere was perfect for breakfast: it was sunny, we were sat in the shade in the park. We had the croque monsieur which I highly recommend.
Great local restaurant. Service and good always superb
Great, characterful spot. Simple but beautifully executed food.
Being a fan of their sister restaurant Casse-Croute I thought I'd give this a try, and will definitely be back. Classic dishes served in a unique air conditioned dog friendly casual neighbourhood venue in the corner of the park. Friendly helpful and polite staff.
Perfect experience! Great food, well prepared and presented. Interesting range of drinks. Attentive, friendly service. Very enjoyable being able to sit outside on a warm summer evening.
Really great food, nice venue
I liked the restaurant when it opened but it had limitations. It has now raised its game to equal and rival Casse-Croute - no mean feat. The passionfruit on the sea-bream carpaccio is inspired but then nothing on the menu disappointed. The intensity of the apricot flavour of the quinoa with the meltingly tender lamb shank was remarkable as was the flavour of the sauce with the monkfish. The desserts are superb. As is the Gamay on the carefully chosen wine list. I cannot recommend the restaurant too highly.
Authentic French Bistro style restaurant with a great, reasonable wine list!
We reduce in the area and have had nothing but positive experience amazing food service at Both restaurants.
A wonderful cosy and friendly pocket of France, right in the middle of Bermondsey. Always superb food all cooked so well and an excellent selection of wines. Herve and his team are the best!!
Very impressed by dinner we recently had at Pique Nique. Ingredients used are of great quality and dishes are really well prepared. A very specific mention for desert menu, a-ma-zing!
Love coming back to Pique Nique for the great food and fantastic service. Highly recommended.
Herve and the team are first class , everything everything was as we arranged for a birthday party . Go there try it and then you will be a Pique Nique convert
Great service and straight up advice on lovely wines to match food
Fantastic little authentic French restaurant with a simple menu tucked away in the park. We shared all of the entrees rather than having any mains - all delicious.
We all enjoyed an amazing lunch with the food, drink and service of all high levels. One member of the party remarked that it was their new favourite restaurant and they're a 'foodie'!
