About Pieminister Stokes Croft
Award-winning pies and soft serve sundaes in laid-back surroundings with great music and a well-stocked bar: pie and ice cream feasting doesn’t get better than this.
lovely food, quick service staff were super friendly and helpful
We celebrated a birthday party here and we all enjoyed the food and the service was great.
Had a fantastic lunch with friends! The food was delicious and the waiting staff was awesome, special thanks to Zoe. Great experience, totally recommend
I wish the yorkshire puddings were vegan, otherwise yeah everything was amazing.
The food was lovely. Very good price for the large portions.
Good food - tasty. Cocktail 2-1 were nice. Service a little slow both when ordering and getting the bill.
We booked a table as a surprise for my husband’s birthday. The food was delicious and it was great that the menu catered for everyone...vegans, meat eaters and those who are just a bit fussy. We were all really happy with our food. The staff were also incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help make his birthday a special one, even singing happy birthday when they brought out his cake! Can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely be back for more pies and laughs.
Highly recommend the Stokes Croft Pieminister. Service was fast and the staff were lovely. No complaints whatsoever!
We booked a table, with a note to say one of us was coeliac and other was gluten sensitive, and that we would order the Heidi gluten free pies. We arrived and they told us there was going to be a wait on food because something was wrong in the kitchen. We ordered drinks and food and everything was okay with us reiterating one of us is coeliac to let the kitchen know. The waitress did so. And then after a few minutes came back to say the kitchen can’t guarantee the gluten free pie is gluten free?!!! The chef (who was apparently on his own in the kitchen because it is understaffed). After a few uncertain responses we decided not to eat. We eat at Pieminister in Manchester all the time with no issue. You cannot advertise something as gluten free and then say actually it might not be. The chef obviously needs support and training. Waitress and manager very amiable and understanding, however it is really poor when you are misleading people and not taking precautions to serve as advertised, gluten free food.
Fabulous as ever, great friendly service and knockout pie, mash and gravy... top stuff.
The usual excellent PM experience. I've been a customer for many years now and will be back. Great food, good, quick service and great value for money.
Another fantastic dining experience at the purveyors of the finest pies in all of Bristol and possibly the whole country!!
Good pie as always.
Valeria really looked after me as I enjoyed my first every Mothership. I've ben many times before to Pieminister it being a firm favourite with visiting family and friends however yesterday I came in alone and had yet another great time. Big thanks to Valeria for whom nothing was too much trouble. She is a real star and of course my thanks to the chef (Theo I think) who diligently prepared my feast. I am delighted and can not wait to return...maybe I can squeeze another Mothership in this week!
We didn’t have room for pudding although they looked good!
Great service, warm & welcoming staff! Delicious food 👌🏽
Brought a couple of scholarship basketball players from Bristol Flyers for a welcome to Bristol lunch and they loved the pies. Couldn't quite convince them of the deliciousness of mushy peas but we have a year to work on that! Thank you all for a really nice lunch.
Pie minister is and always has been absolutely gert lush
Good was really good. The service was excellent, all the questions clearly answered especially about dietary concerns. I would suggest that the taste of the sparkling elderflower be enhanced. The one I had was very light and not so fizzy as well.
Typical English pies. Good prices and great taste.
Great place to eat! Quick service with friendly atmosphere
Good experience though by 6pm you had run out of Sunday Best ingredients, which is what we had come for. Cocktails weren’t very good but food was fine.
Experience was good. I was expecting it to be more busy. The pattys were nice if you were having a main meal you would need at least 3 and have something else with it. Lager was a good taste.
Lovely food, beautifully presented with friendly and efficient service. Very happy. Thank you .
