Really great lunchtime visit. Food was fanastic - and it came really quick! Service was also top notch!
I tired to book online a table of 8 people however it would only permit upto 6 people so I had to give he restaurant a call. This was no problem, the staff were very accommodating. The visit was very enjoyable, great pies and pork scratching all with the added essential of hendo's.
Had a lovely birthday meal here on Sunday 13th of May and loved it! Please say thank you to the staff that worked that day as they sung me happy birthday too! Xxx
We were very dissapointed with the service, the female waitress was friendly but our male waiter seemed like he did not want to be there, had to ask for condiments & my partner wanted a dessert but we were not asked & after waiting just decided not to bother & left. The food was nice but service really put us off
Best pie's ever
Great, speedy service and amazing food. Will definitely go again.
Amazing tasty pies. We will be back!!
Great customer service, great food, comfy seating. Online reserving was so quick and easy. We loved it. Thanks
Lovely food and good service. ‘Kevin’ pie was very nice.
The staff went above and beyond for us and were all really lovely, will be coming back and have told everyone to try you guys!
The pie was really good. Just enough food. The pudding was a bit disappointing as it was 4.80 and there was not that much of it. It was very tasty just a bit expensive
Amazing food. We were a table of 11 and everyone got their order and loved the food! I can't get enough of the 'Heidi' pie!
Side orders are quite pricey.
Tasty food and very good service.
Staff very friendly and helpful, quick service and great food!
Food was very tasty, we were a party of three and all enjoyed our meals, restaurant and staff were welcoming and polite. Unfortunately, there was no draught beer available on the night due to delivery problems and one of the pies was sold out! I imagine these are teething problems with it being a new restaurant.
Pies excellent, sides very good, drinks a bit underwhelming. Service is not bad - and definitely better than the opening weekend - but still found ourselves hanging around when all we wanted was the bill. Won't stop us coming back though
Pieminster is ok and a bit different. I personally prefer a slice of pie cut from a large plate pie. Pieminster is obviously a chain and their (pukka shaped) pies are mass produced. Overall rating, ok for a change. Good, prompt, friendly service from staff.
Food was nice but service was really slow and seemed to take ages .
Best pies I've ever had
We visited the newly opened sheffield restaurant. We arrived having booked online at home and received confirmation. The waitress was quite rude and said no booking was made, I handed over my phone to show confirmation. She reiterated that no booking was written down for her but there was room for us anyway (the place was empty when we arrived). We ordered our food but our pie of choice (moo) was sold out! We ordered alternatives and the food arrived in good time and tasted good, however it was just about luke warm and could have done with being hot. We looked around for a server to order drinks and the lady that greeted us on arrival sent another server over to take our order. Once we had finished we sat waiting to ask for our bill. The same lady was leaning against a counter and I kind of waved and smiled. She scowled and nodded her head at me before coming over. We requested the bill, we got the bill. We paid and left without leaving a tip which is unheard of for us. It is good to see new businesses coming into Sheffield city centre but the service left a lot to be desired which is a real shame. We eat out regularly and this spoilt our experience of eating at pieminister, especially on Mothering Sunday.
Sat waiting to place order for 30 mins with further delays on getting drinks/dessert. Staff didn't seem sure on how to make dessert and it took 20 mins after ordering to say that something wasn't in stock anymore.
Fantastic food, great atmosphere, amazing halloumi fries. Cant wait to go back.
The food is fantastic, we had to wait for 90 minutes for our mains but it was worth it The service however was terrible, the female serving us was abrupt and inattentive. We even had to put our hands up on the air at times to get her attention and even then she ignored us. Not sure what is happening with the music - random at best and it was quite a cold feeling in the restaurant temperature and furnishings
Lovely restaurant with welcoming staff
