Piattino is a newly opened restaurant within the grounds of The Punchbowl, Lapworth. The name Piattino derives from the Italian for small plate as our menu is authentic Italian tapas. We use only the finest ingredients for our authentic Italian recipes cooked by authentic Italians :)
Excellent! Staff wonderfully attentive Food fabulous
we really enjoyed our dinner at Piattino, not common to have nice food in a nice atmosphere in this area.
Piattino is a little gem. Offering fabulous Italian tapas in a lovely bright and welcoming atmosphere. Can't wait for the summer so we eat al fresco!
Perfect Saturday lunch with friends. Hadn't heard of Piattino but having gone on line to book a table at the Punchbowl came across it and decided to give it a try. Just the kind of food we like, great service, good value in delightful surroundings. Will definitely be returning soon.
Fantastic staff and food. Two very slight drawbacks very noisy and clothes do smell of cooking. This definitely will not stop me from going bac
Fantastic all round, a real hidden gem. The best lunch we have had in a long, long time. We will be returning very soon!
Think you have done well to turn a blank room into cosy tapas bar. The head waiter was very welcoming/helpful/friendly. Service a little slow at times. The beef dish was amazing. Will come back 👍 Ps think youneed more ventilation as room did smell a little bit too 'foodie'
Excellent service and something a little different to the normal menu at the Punch Bowl
Fantastic meal. Service was second to none, lovely venue, and the food was fabulous. Visited early doors for my wife’s birthday, with our 3 year old boy in tow. Have always enjoyed the Punchbowl and Piattino has added a new dynamic. Would highly recommend.
The food was excellent, staff amazing but felt the restaurant lacked atmosphere
Another great evening at Piattino. The food and atmosphere with friendly service made the whole experience enjoyable, look forward to returning soon.
Food did not live up to its billing (chicken wings?)Some interesting dishes though such as zucchini. No fresh bread offered. Decor does not match the concept. A bit like eating in a garden centre cafe. Music very annoying Italian pop favourites.
We really enjoyed the food and we are looking forward to eating there next week with friends
As lovers of Italian food, when we saw that this restaurant had opened, we thought we would give it a try. The restaurant was decorated nicely, tables were a good size and the seating was comfortable. It was not very busy when we ate there (a Saturday lunch time) but we assumed that word had not got out about how good it was. The staff were very friendly and attentive and had good knowledge of the menu. We were not too sure of the portion size and were expecting tapas size plates but we would say that anything priced at around £4 is a tapas size and dishes that were upwards of £7 were more like small plates. It was recommended that each person had 3-4 dishes each and we felt that this was pretty accurate. We had 2 dishes from crostini menu and one from the antipasti to start. All were excellent. We then tried 3 from the carne e pesce and pasta al forno menus and at this point we were pretty full. My husband then ordered another meat dish but we struggled to eat it all. After a short break, I had 3 scoops of delicious ice cream whilst my husband had another glass of wine. We would definitely recommend the restaurant and will be returning again in the not too distant future.
Small plates bigger than expected
Such a shame we need a good Italian restaurant in the area why are you serving not very good Spanish tapas supermarket cold cut salami and olives could not see any commitment to cooking Italian food nearest was the meatballs which where dry and tasteless the pitsa tapas where soggy hope you can get it right best of luck a.dunn
Authentic flavoursome Italian food! Sour dough pizza amazingly light. The ricotta frittata cheese and home made Italian apple pie simply divine
Loved it, I wish it was here when I sill lived in Lapworth!
Brilliant service and food, thanks to you Punchbowl

great evening will return soon
Brilliant Night and we are booked again for the following week. Many Thanks.
