About Phil's Kitchen
With over four years of experience working in Michelin star restaurants, Phil decided to open his very own kitchen. Inspired by his time in Europe, the restaurant combines simplicity with sophistication, with strong focus on making your experience the best one. Each dish is delicately plated, packed with an abundance of colour and flavour.
I was blown away with the level of service Received and the Quality And level of skill and love put into each plate was phenomenal And the flavours Were dancing on my palate I would definitely recommend this to anyone that hasn’t tried Phil’s kitchen yet you wouldn’t be Disappointed and can honestly say will be returning to try the new vegetarian menu and the four course menu sooner then later

Another fantastic diner at Phil's. They were very busy but the service was still outstanding. Mushroom Veloute is a must try.

Went to Phil's Kitchen for a date night - the first time we've dined there. Was greeted by warm staff, a beautifully curated menu, and a charming decor. The food was outsanding, it's hard to find a better fine dining experience in Auckland.
Exemplary service from the moment we walked in. Food was superb - would expect this level of quality (and service) and wine selection in Michelin starred restaurant. We will return! Dessert envy from he who couldn’t join us this time!

Pudding was one of the stand out best puddings I have ever had, and I fancy myself a pudding connoisseur. The rest of the meal was the usual very high standard I expect from Phil's. Our waiter was a sweetie with a good sense of humour. I have wanted to try eating a bug for ages, so thanks for enabling that experience - which was yummy too. Thanks for a fab evening, much appreciated.
Food is delightful but it suffers from the classical syndrome of NZ restaurants where non-alcohol drinkers are treated like dirt. There’s basically nothing for you if you don’t drink except for soft drinks and juice. The atmosphere would also be better if they wouldn’t blare out the music at massive volume. That said, there are very few places in Auckland where you can get the quality 4 course menu for their price.
Excellent service staff - actually the one -Italian did a great job. Interesting combinations and great presentation of food. Personally, we do not like desserts as sweet -But probably very appealing to most. Bavette appetiser unusual and delicious. Small space but comfortable and not noisy.
