I found all the staff well trained and very professional
Main course came before starter. No bread roll with soup. No bread with prawn cocktail. No beans on my child’s dinner. Not a great menu to choose from. Why no steak on a Wednesday?
Our hostess, Abbey, was fantastic, very efficient friendly and knows how to take care of her guest. Well done Abbey for making our evening very enjoyable and being a perfect representative of Peterborough Greyhounds.
Excellent evening food very good staff all very friendly will def be coming again
Great evenings entertainment and well looked after.
The lady taking our bets was fantastic- we had two elderly people with us and she was really patient with them!
I was a little disappointed with my selection of food, although the other 3 family members were really pleased with theirs. The vegetables were microwaved and dry unfortunately. Other than that, it was such a fantastic evening, such a spoiler...😦
Not too busy when we came but still a good atmosphere. The service was spot on and the food was good quality, especially the steak & ale pie which had pastry to die for. All 6 or us had a great time and the 3 that hadn't been before have vowed to return. Special thanks go to the lady who took our bets all night, nothing was too much trouble.
Great Family Night Out!
Great night out
Food and drink was cheap and nasty and I will never go again.
I was sure I had booked the valentines package given how it was described on the website and the fact the price shown was the price I paid. However on arrival it was apparent we hadn’t been given a Valentine’s Day table. This was the entire reason I brought my wife and after speaking to the manager, Mark who was extremely confrontational and unprofessional, leaving my wife embarrassed and us no further to what we thought we had booked. I felt very left down and have given feedback via Facebook messenger, and await a reply.
Excellent attentive service, let down slightly by the limited menu and poor quality of the food.
The welcome was great, the view brilliant, the dogs, tote service, front of house staff were brilliant and attentive. A good menu but slightly poor quality execution of the food, which we likened to school dinner standards, quite amateur and basic. Give the meal a little finesse, with slightly better quality ingredients and you could be onto a winner little butter dishes instead of the chilled butter patts, not frozen tiny prawns that tasted hard, season the veg when cooking it, and the crumble in a ramekin would all be cheap ways to improve. But all in all.... A small niggle to what was a brilliant night out.
Vegetables were cold and brocilli undercooked, potatoes very soggy and very disappointing night in the end
Very enjoyable evening
The seating for the 6 of us was a bit cramped, which mean't 2 of us had to sit with our backs to the stadium. Apart from that, we enjoyed the evening.
Hadn’t been dog racing for years (Walthamstow) and found the atmosphere lacking with no onsite bookmakers and the ability to take a price you're left with the tote, whose prices looked greatly over round. Though a different experience to what I am used to and expecting, it was nonetheless an enjoyable evening and would recommend it.
Great night and great fun enjoyed by all my party - thanks for making it an excellent night
Staff were friendly and polite. Service was excellent
Service was excellent, reception was excellent however steak was a little over cooked which we paid extra for. Not convinced it was worth £85 for the two of us. Plus extras and drinks. The only two wines I was interested in didn’t come by the glass, bottle only which meant I chose Prosecco unfortunately, though it was ok.
Great night, our party of 30 was well looked after and everyone enjoyed the night.
