Great night thank you xxx
Christmas works event everyone had a very enjoyable evening, third year we have celebrated with you so keep up the good work
Food was very poor quality, Starters missing bread for prawn cocktails and salads, rolls were rock hard and not enough for what it was meant to be complimenting. For mains very cold and dry, no roast potato's and had to ask for veg. Stuffing balls very overcooked. Veg dry and undercooked. Cutlery just thrown on the table in-between courses not placed. Drinks took ages to arrive with not ice. The service was very slow and it took ages to clear plates away. We came 2 years ago and it was much better. I do not think we will be returning. Very disappointing.
Great atmosphere and good fun
We went as a group of 12 people for our Christmas party and everybody had a brilliant time and we will most likely be back again next year.
Vegetables undercooked very hard turkey was bland and reconstituted ,ordered Xmas pudding and ice cream received Xmas pudding and lumpy custard.coffee was cold asked for replacement still cold ,overall very poor for the money charged
My Wife & i, have frequented this venue on a Saturday night, 2 or 3 times a year, over the last 10 years, & we could not fault any service from the venue. How ever, my Wife & i decided to try a different night. We chose Wednesday 28th November 2018. Food served, was not up to Saturday standard, the service was very poor at best, apart from the waiter supervisor "Davey", who was very apologetic. The overall night was a complete shambles. It seemed the Wednesday night staff, are the reserve team & should stay in the "Golden Arches". Saturday Team = 10 / 10 Faultless Wednesday Team = 2 / 10 Dire
Have been to Here many times over the years, and to be honest, this was not our favourite visit. Service was very slow. 25 minutes wait for starter, then nearly an hour later the main. Twice we were served incorrect sweet, and on the 3rd attempt just accepted that they we were not going to get what we ordered. Waitor fully appologetic and kept telling us the chef has the correct order but just keeps giving the wrong dish. Informing team one guest was dairy intolerant made little difference as 3 times again served wrong dish. Drinks service was the worst we have experienced...far far too slow and often no waitor to be seen. We put it down to being a Saturday night and Xmas period, but was truly disappointing from your usual high standards. A shame as being Xmas expected better. Mick.
Great night out
There were several points during the night that was good. 1. It took over half an hour to get our first drink 2. Our table ordered four soup, 1 of the soups only had a small amount in the bowl,we ordered 3 brown rolls and 1 white. They all turned up white. 3. Our table ordered four turkey meals , and only three lots of veg turned up. The cranberry sauce turned up half way through the meal. Our table ordered one cup of tea and on the third attempt came out jot and not boiling. The first two attempts were stone cold. The lad serving us really didn't have a clue, kept on saying he couldn't here us, and when there was a problem, he would get someone else to sort it out. So all in all food was terrible, cold, and not impressed.
Good night out
We really enjoyed the Christmas menu and the service was excellent. The atmosphere very lively and enjoyable.
My wife and three freinds had a fantastic time. Service and food brilliant. Gluten free food was perfect. All in all a great experience.
Good service and awesome atmosphere.
We had a great time last night when we came along for an office party. The food was excellent, the service was great and atmosphere was really good.

Very enjoyable night, good food and great service
Wonderful night, thank you
We always book the restaurant . Always a great evening out
A great night for all. However, it would have been nice to have all 5 tables together instead of 3 on one level and 2 on another, especially as there were 2 empty tables next to the 3. We look forward to further visits in 2019!
We had a large party of 10 guests and all paid for the gold package. The restaurant was not busy on the Wednesday night we visited and you had lots of bar staff and waiters standing around. The waiter kept coming to one end of the table and asking us to pass plates down almost clearing our own table. After the 2nd time if doing so we said why don't you walk around the table clearing the plates yourself as it is his job and not ours as paying guests. With that he walked of and our table was not cleared all night so we had desert plates, cheeseboards, coffees and all our drinks. Which may i add we spent a additional 150 pounds on drinks that night!! We asked other waiters and a manager to have the table cleared and no one came, we asked 3 times!! As a result drinks were knocked over by the young children which was spilt on my new handbag and I ended up gettin up and clearing the table myself and observed by your staff with no help. This is my 4th visit to the greyhounds and I was absolutly gutted as it was our family Christmas celebration as my mother and father live in Spain who also joined us that night. I have had some great nights, food and service at Peterborough greyhounds and usually cannot recommend it enough to friends for a great night out. However I felt very let down that we spent £200 on the gold service booking a additional £150 on drinks and £200 on bets throughout the night we were treated so poorly and it has put me of returning in the future. The food was not so great this visit the ham terrine was delicious, the steaks were perfect and desert no faults, apart from a child's ice cream Sunday glass shattering when they put there spoon in it. But the curry was very very watery and inedible and the vegan starter terrine was also very watery and tasteless, and we had to send a child's burger back as it was rock hard and she broke her brace when biting into it. However credit where it is due the rest of the meal was superb. We also had a lovely tote very jolly funny and so polite. However I feel you are empoying very young staff as waiters, bar staff and even management these kids behave like they don't care, do not want to work hard and could not care less about your customers evening. I truly hope you improve on these points as it would be such a shame to have to not return to your once a great night out establishment.
Friendly and enthusiastic young staff
