About Pergola Paddington
We’re back! After a whopping 179,000 of you came to see us at Pergola Paddington in 2017 we’re back for season TWO! Bringing the outside in, taking the inside out, and only improving on last summer’s smash hit run. Sandwiched between the tributary tracks that feed into Paddington Station and the once bustling waterways of the Basin, our Pergola returns as a sunny summery paradise - a secret hideaway in the heart of west London’s busiest business district. Set over two carefully curated and beautifully decorated floors, Pergola Paddington is the perfect place to while away those long summer days, and enjoy an unforgettable night with your favourite people.
It was so extremely hot that one lady passed out from heat exhaustion. It would have been nice to have it all undercover. We were unaware that we wouldn't be seated on the roof so it wasn't as enjoyable and we would have liked.
Downstairs area very hot and sweaty due to plastic sheeting over the roof. Upstairs area perfect as it was all open and allowed the air to flow
It was very busy but that was to be expected. Good atmosphere. Disappointed there were no frozen drinks.
Too hot downstairs. The girl on the table across from us fainted Needs air conditioning ASAP
Views were non existent so then just defeated the point of being somewhere like that. The outside heaters weren’t working AND the ground was an absolute nightmare!! Shoes ruined, other people dropped their coats in the floor so they go ruined.
Good service, good vibes defo recommend Just make sure you got your debit cards as they dnt take cash
Had a lovely time and the steamed buns were amazing
Always a great place to visit with friends - easy to book and everything you need. Beautifully decorated
The atmosphere is perfect for a birthday gathering. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and answered all my queries professionally.
I booked for 30 people for a networking event. I have been to pergola before in bad weather with no complaints given its a heated venue. Despite it being advertised as "fully heated" we were surprised that when we asked why the heaters wouldn't turn on it was for "planned summer maintenance" such a shame as it tainted our night and most our of guests left as it was freezing. We wouldn't have booked an outside venue if it wasn't heated and If we were given notice we would have either cancelled or brought 100 extra layers! disappointed.
The food was delicious! nice to have some music in the background while we ate.
The Pergola staff are amazing and Tori the organiser is so helpful and professional. The food was great and the service so friendly.
The poor bar staff are so new they don't know how to make a drink. I asked for a Negroni, I didn't get a Negroni. Considering I paid £8.5, I wasn't even able to complain. There are mice everywhere. I had 5 sightings. The food was good though.
The vibe was good; not massively busy, but great when the music was going. Staff were lovely and food decent. More choice of food vendors would be great. Music stopped at 10.30pm which was a shame, and thrown out at 11pm. Saw a rat on the floor which wasn't ideal.
As always - great night at Pergola. Music was decent, food great as always - especially the Mexican. Need to sort the leaky roof out though ;) - all part of the experience
Booked a table for 16 and it only fit 10, very slow at the bar but it is a fun vibe
Booked for lunch time, was quite empty so not much atmosphere (when I'd asked in advance I was told it was almost fully booked). Bar service was slow, at one point only one person serving although this improved later on. Even though we were sat by a heater it was freezing cold and we all had our coats on. Food was exceptionally good though so that made up for it.
We didn't realize we would need ID, coming for a work social especially in Paddington I thought this wouldn't be an issue. Somehow it was. Bouncers were being really extra! And annoying
My friends and I visited the Pergola for lunch for my 21st Birthday. I would definitely come back here in a heartbeat! The price for food and drink was great considering we were in London and it was definitely a cool place to hang out. I can imagine it being lovely in the summer. There was great choice in food. The only bad thing I could say about it would be travelling there as it was difficult to find however everything else was great.
Great fun!!! Perfect for large groups- heaps of space, great food and drink options.
Pictures looked great but when we arrived it was really loud. Self service was quick but food was really greasy. I’m sure it would be nice in the summer to have a drink. I personally wouldn’t return as not my thing, as was full of students
Really enjoyed coming here, great atmosphere and great food.
We had such a lovely evening!
