About Pergola Paddington
Five of London’s greatest restaurants are coming to Pergola Paddington Central! We have prepared an array of London’s greatest restaurants to take over the 5 restaurant kiosks at Paddington Central. These guys have designed bespoke menus for us, with dishes available exclusively at Pergola. All the kiosks are self-service so regardless of how large or small your party size is, you’re able to eat from different places and please all tastes, yet share the same table and experience. This makes for great group style eating, as well as being ideal for families, kids and smaller parties.
From oysters, crab and fresh fish to dumplings and burgers - all priced at no more than £15 per dish and starting from £6, we have made sure affordability is a key part of these menus. For information on the restaurants appearing for summer 2017 please see below:
I went there for the first time yesterday with a small group of friends and we all remained pleasantly surprised to find a bit of chic country side in the heart of London. The decoration are really nice and the environment is chill but kind of sophisticated. Nice touch the free margarita, and the prosecco we bought was really good. The food selection is nice but honestly not amazing. The service is good (some people more friendly than others). The day was sunny and warm already outside, and inside was quite hot. But I suppose you cannot have everything. I would surely recommend to friends and maybe go back!
Disappointed to find when we arrived that our RESERVED table was being used by others... and we were told by staff to sit elsewhere! What is the point of pre booking if walkins can have your table? 20 mins later we were then asked to move from the table we sat at... as it had been prebooked! Eventually were given our original table but felt that the 2 hostesses that served us did not make much of an effort to assist us. Could do better Paddington Pergola
Pretty venue, but that’s about it! Google sent us to the wrong place we we arrived late, which I explained at the door. We were told we could wait at the bar for a table.... despite their being about 20 empty tables. Having rushed in the rain to try our booking we were desperate to sit down if just for a few minutes, but there’s no seats in the bar area tondo that. Eventually got a seat at the end of a table but after 1.5 hours we were asked to “leave” as another booking had arrived - not just move to another space but leave entirely! Not a very friendly environment and to top it off I got food poisoning from the burger stall.
Great place to relax with friends
Quite a disappointing booking experience as on arrival our area had been double booked. Having confirmed multiple times that we needed a table for 17 people using your text, email confirmation and by phone this was disappointing. We were then moved to your "day bed area" which again was not enough space for 17 people and we were then told that we had to leave the bed at 10.20pm as you were closing the area meaning we then had to stand for the remainder of the evening.
Great place to hang with friends!
Lovely place whether it's rain or shine!
Super friendly and accommodating staff for a lovely atmoshphere, beautifully decorated.
The prices were reasonable for central London, and the atmosphere and setting were very cosy. However, the service was not the best as there were not enough bar tenders and it led to long queues every time we wanted a drink. The free frozen margarita was great!
Perfect venue for a big group outing. Plenty of choice for food and drink, and a great atmospehere, whatever the weather.
It was a great day with a great atmosphere!!!
Fantastic atmosphere and perfect fun shelter from the rain on sat, had an amazing time! And the bao were 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽 Definitely will recommend!
Great environment inside and very fun. There should be more food options and drinks stands so there aren’t any lines or long waits. The tables were a bit uncomfortable and there weren’t many places to get water. Overall it was a great day!
Really great day!
It was too noisy for us to be able to enjoy it completely, but overall it was a nice place to visit.
The girls managing the reservations were absolutely bloody useless, twice we were asked to leave our RESERVED table, the table that they had guided us to and they kept guiding other attendees of our party to another table, so they had no clue! I do hope you get better people to manage the bookings!!
Great potential but 45mins each time for a drink queue is ridic. It killd the vibes. Everyone was complaining. We pay extreme costs for a drink but wait almost an hour for it? Then to get told no glasses go queue again for 45mins elsewhere. I moved tables 3 times because you couldnt find the right one for me and my friends. Fix the service and ill be back. Awful.
good atmosphere - terrible for food the day i went though, patty and bun ran out of burgers, canard ran out of duck, vietnamese ran out of bao and the mexican was average.
Great place to hang out with a large (or small) group of friends, lively atmosphere and spacious
After visiting Pergola last year I had high expectations for my visit. Unfortunately it did not quite live up to expectations this time around. I booked for my partner’s 30th Birthday and received an email to expect free beer for every member of the party, only to be told this ended earlier in the evening (before we had turned up). The service at the bar was the worst I’ve had in London, I don’t think anyone in our party queued for less that 30mins for a drink, average was around 45mins. The atmosphere and food choices are great... it just seems everything else needs to catch up... ALOT.
Absolutely terrible. Completely disorganised. No table ready for us, was left standing around for 45 minutes, weren’t given a seat until an hour after our booking. No one knew what was happening. Frozen margaritas ran out. Staff were scatty and disorganised. Totally useless, would never ever go back. Waste of time.
Been to Pergola several times before and have had a great time *previously*, so booked it for my birthday celebrations. However, the experience was such a disappointment this weekend. I've had the table booked for ages, but upon arrival, it wasn't ready and the staff were incredibly rude about it. The front of house staff were clearly not loving life! We get that it's a shame to be working on a bank holiday, but the bad vibes this guy was giving out was almost funny. When we eventually found our table, it was covered with the previous groups mess - which we cleared ourselves, as there was no one to help. We'd had several emails in the weeks beforehand, offering both free margs and beers, so that was exciting... we went to claim those but we were told they had run out of both, and that was that. We weren't there just for the free drinks though, so fine to buy drinks.. however it took so so long to get anywhere in the bar, and when we did there was around 3 staff for hundreds of people, all of whom couldn't have been moving any slower. So took around an hour to queue up and get your drink... On top of this, they'd run out of *so many drinks*, so not much choice at all... The food stalls were downstairs, which had also run out of most of the food. A taco stall without guac, again quite funny. The toilets were a total mess, and very dirty with no toilet roll. Again just so disappointing - the entire place felt like a total shambles, not the chic place it's marketed as. We continued with the night and when closing time was announced, we had around 30 seconds to leave no exaggeration... We were trying to finish a bottle of wine (which had taken around an hour to queue and buy) and a member of staff snatched it from a friend very aggressively, and told her to leave. All so disappointing and such a shame! Try harder pergola, don't open if your staff don't wanna be there on a bank hols :).
Fab atmosphere - really buzzy. Would love to see even more healthy food options - more salad choice, sourdough bread etc but what there was, tasted great
It was too hot, understaffed and we didn't get the day bed I booked!
It took too long to get a drink. The price of drinks were far too high. The staff seemed very stressed and therefore were very rude. Its such a shame because my office is very close and we would have loved to hold summer events at Pergola but after my last experience I would not recommends and will cancel my next booking.
