Excellent Lunch. Lovely Service
We have now been to the Pear Tree twice and the second time, we brought my brother & his wife for lunch. They both enjoyed their meal very much, just as we did - both times.
Amazing service as always , staff always so helpful and friendly . Five star food and service . Thank you
Service was very friendly, excellent in fact. Lovely restaurant. Food was great although I had the burger which although very tasty was very thick making it a little dry to get through. Every other dish was delicious. Will come again.
Lovely breakfast. Great service. Will definitely do it again.
Always enjoy our visit to The Pear Tree. Varied menu with delicious food, enjoyed the fish in beer batter and chips this time. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Service only slightly slower than usual, but it was a busy Friday evening.
Lovely food in a lovely place!
Excellent food and service.
Lovely warm welcome on arrival. Very nice surroundings and decor. Prompt and efficient service ! The food was delicious.
Lovely setting, great food, friendly staff. Well dobe
Always a pleasure to eat at the Pear Tree.
A lovely place and unfailingly good service. Lots of thoughtful touches. A very enjoyable visit.
Lovely setting with good atmosphere. All staff seemed informed, very polite and attentive. Food was fantastic, beautifully cooked and well presented.
Really good food and excellent friendly service
Elise was a fantastic waitress - very efficient, pleasant and chatty (good luck with your A Level results). Food quality was excellent - good quality ingredients and well cooked and presented. Restaurant had a lovely feel to it and we were lucky that it was nice and quiet which helped with our group of elderly guests! Will definitely come back. Thanks
Lovely pub and the staff were very friendly. I was initially very disappointed with the menu as the dish I had selected looking at their website (and the reason why I booked up) was not on the menu (the lamb) and I didn't fancy any of the other mains. However, the burger I chose was very tasty. I would recommend the pub for the atmosphere and the service but would warn that dishes on the online menu may not be available on the day.
The whole Pear Tree team are lovely and welcome everyone whilst remaining very professional. The management at the Pear Tree select there staff very well.
Lovely cozy pub/restaurant and dog friendly.
Wonderful food and venue.
Always a good place to celebrate a special occasion
As always, a sublime dining experience. Staff lovely, food cooked to perfection - I would go back just for the parmesan mash alone - and an expansive wine (by the glass & bottle) selection to keep even the most picky vino lover happy. Beer well-kept on tap and interesting selection of bottled craft-types in the fridge. Oh to live nearer!
Lovely family Sunday lunch for a special occasion. Relaxed, great food, staff friendly and welcoming... happy for us to move to the terrace for puddings and coffee. Would recommend unreservedly. Ask for a table outside in fine weather.
Lovely setting with seasonal dishes
