About Pear Tree Inn
After being closed for over a year The Pear Tree Inn has been carefully restored as a farmhouse kitchen with bar & rooms. It has a relaxed & rustic appeal to the locally sourced menu & reclaimed quirky decor.
An old stone build farmhouse with rug strewn flagstones & reclaimed timber flooring. It features worn wooden tables with mismatched furniture and linen napkins. The Pear Tree will showcase the best local suppliers with a menu guided by the seasons. It also offers overnight guests eight contemporary individually decorated rooms split between the Inn & a beautifully converted barn.
Love the Pear Tree, such friendly welcoming happy staff
Absolutely amazing, love it at the Pear Tree. Thank you all xx
A bit pricey
3rd meal - perfect each time. Thank you
Great evening at The Pear Tree. We had a large birthday party and the service was very professional and the food excellent
Great food and service.
Finished off the wife’s birthday weekend with Sunday lunch and it was fabulous. Never been before and only booked on a recommendation from a fellow chef. I will definitely go again and will recommend to others, without hesitation.
Excellent quality lunch, very good service from very friendly people. Will be back.
We spent New Years Eve here and had a lovely time. The food was delicious, well presented from a varied menu. The staff were friendly and efficient. The Inn has a traditional country pub feel and was really welcoming. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing evening out.
We had a lovely night, food atmosphere and service were perfect for the occasion, thank you x
Drink order came with large glass which I thought was small one.
We had a wonderful evening
Really disappointed with our Christmas Lunch No pigs in blankets no stuffing Bland vegetables Vegetable broth awful so to parfait desert We felt it was very poor value for money At £80 per head we felt that at least you could have provided a bottle of red and White House wine per table
Great all round
AMAZING, loved it thank you PT team. Miss you all!
Food excellent, choice of drinks very good. However, service was poor compared with previous experiences and based on the level expected for the establishment, service staff were rarely at hand and not particularly welcoming, otherwise very good overall.
A very nice meal... the wine was a bit of a disappointment which is why I only gave it 4 stars... food though was delicious and would definitely book again.
We have eaten at the Pear Tree Inn on many occasions and we have never been disappointed with the food or the service and this Christmas meal occasion was no exception. The food was not only delicious but well presented and served. However, I have one gripe, the manager undercharged us by almost £30 and being the honest people that we are we made him aware of his mistake. My gripe is that a complimentary coffee or drink of some sort or maybe a small percentage discount as a thank you for our honesty would’ve been appreciated – all we got from him was a smile and a nod. It’s the little things that make it worth returning.
Wonderful Christmas Day meal. Thank you so much.
We've dined here a few times and always enjoy the friendly relaxed atmosphere and delicious food. This was our first Christmas experience - could not fault it! We were a party of 10 and all thoroughly enjoyed our special festive gathering.
Excellent service and food.
Lovely evening thank you. The service was amazing
First Class Christmas menu. Portions just the right size and food was brilliantly cooked. Excellent value in such lovely surroundings.
Fabulous festive meal. Lovely venue. Friendly & helpful staff. The only feedback from the group was that both who had cheese were disappointed not to have more than one cheese on the board. Apart from that all the guests would return again & again.
