Very helpful friendly staff. We enjoyed our meal , it was well presented well and very tasty. A little too much gravy for me. I would prefer to have less and a jug on the side. Overall I would recommend for a pleasant evening and good food.
We had a lovely time and delicious food. The service was excellent. Will definitely be back again.
Great food and a beautiful setting. The service was also refreshingly good. The waiters & waitresses actually want to do a good job and please people which seems to be unheard of nowadays! 10/10
Always a first class dinning experience, from food to atmosphere service is un-faultable. Would highly reccomend and will return again.
We always have a wonderful time at the pear tree. The staff are friendly and helpful without being to invasive or formal. They seem to strike the perfect balance between friendly and polite. The food is lovely, especially the breakfasts.
Loved your pub and our evening, just felt you needed more staff as you were very busy.
Delicious food and great service in beautiful surroundings.
Not cheap, but the food, service and ambiance are all excellent; so well worth the expense for a special occasion
Wonderful evening celebrating my hubbies 60 with friends Booking again for Sunday lunch !!
We had a lovely meal with delicious food. Only (small) complaints are that the room was quite chilly and the service was a little bit slow. We had a great time - it is a beautiful place, and we would recommend it.
Outstanding service and food always, so lucky to have you as our local!
An amazing experience from food to atmosphere and service ! Faultless and in such cosy warm and welcoming surroundings, attention to detail is exceptional. We will be back
Friendly and cosy pub atmosphere which exceptional food and good range of drinks.
Great food and super helpful and pleasant staff. Really enjoyed my time here
Wonderful evening and great venue for a large group, great service and we were tended to when we needed to be. Everyone loved the food!
lovely Sunday lunch, exceptional standards all round.
Wondeful atmosphere and marvellous food. Service was excellent also. Love the cosy feel even on a cold winter day.
Great food, great service, beautifully laid out restaurant with a relaxing theme. Loved it!
Great service lovely staff, very helpful. Big thumbs up to Jemma we asked lots of questions as we had a lot of dietary requirements & she was very helpful with all of them. We will definitely recommend & return ourselves.
We were a group of four attending the restaurant on a Friday night at 7.00pm. The reason for our early booking was that we intended to eat and leave relatively quickly. The restaurant was already very busy and the staff, who were very pleasant and helpful clearly couldn’t cope. We ordered main courses only which took nearly an hour to get to us followed by coffee and a single order of desert which was supposed to be served together. The four coffee’s finally arrived, the single desert took so long after we had drunk our coffee that we should have cancelled. The evening turned into an embarrassment for us, the staff were lovely, the food was very good but the timing of the service was appalling.
The Pear Tree is a local gem. The food served is equivalent to any top restaurant in Bath with a wide choice that caters for all tastes. Friendly and efficient staff which add to the relaxed atmosphere.
Sharing starter brilliant, mains OK( fish slightly overcooked) welcoming and friendly.
Quality food, friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Took my Husband for a birthday surprise and we both had a wonderful time. PT is very welcoming with the fairy lights to guide you in the dark and the pub is beautiful. Dinner was fabulous and the staff attentive and friendly. Will definitely return in the future. Thank you very much.
Outstanding Sunday lunch, as usual. Brilliant service, delicious food. We all had a different roast and every one was superb - red cabbage par excellence! Thank you very much 😀
