Food and service was superb will definitely be returning again soon. We felt so welcome and safe during these hard times and it was really a lovely treat. Thank you 😊
Great choice on the menu, food was delicious and well prepared. Service was excellent while one's space was respected at all times.
Really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere in the hotel; the views are stunning, could sit and listen to the waves all day, we loved the fish-box from Catch, great idea, covid restrictions are well adheared to , the staff are one of the best I've come across in years, very attentive nd welcoming,
Gorgeous night away in the Armada. I am already looking forward to going back!
We are just back from a 3 night stay at the Armada. We had both heard great things and were really looking forward to the stay and some much needed down time. However upon arrival the service unfortunately just did not live up to the reputation, our welcome by the girl at reception was pretty much non-existent and abrupt. We both came away from it confused and frustrated. Presuming it was just a once off, we had a similar experience when we went down to dinner and were abruptly greeted (“NAME?” shouted in our direction) by the host of the ocean bar, who then asked us to go wait in a separate waiting area without any menus or option to order a drink while we waited. All relatively small things but definitely not the welcoming, warm service you’d expect. The food was very good in the evening. Breakfast was a little disappointing in that we had to ask for everything (milk for tea, bread, juice) from our young waiter and despite requesting soft poached eggs (which he noted eagerly), the eggs came out hard poached. Honestly, we ate in Johnny Burke’s bar for the 2nd and 3rd night and the service in there from the two barmen and the young waitress redeemed the whole stay for us, they should be on the front desk, really warm welcome and prompt service even when busy. Big thank you to them!
We had a fabulous family weekend at the armada, from the service, staff and food, we really couldn't fault anything. There was a group of 12 of us we had 2 tables of 6 for dinner, everyone felt so safe, the staff really couldn't have done anymore, we will definitely be heading back again soon.
Pillows are too hard.. The Armada Hotel is by far the most friendliest hotel we have stayed in. The staff are super, friendly and really chattu to everyone. Keep up the good work..
Great service, amazing food and views, will definitely visit again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was my husbands birthday & we were assigned a sea view room which was just beautiful. The food was fantastic & everyone was so friendly. A massive thank you to all the staff! We will definitely be back!
A little expensive.
Thank you so much for moving our time slot as we had mistimed our travel from Dingle.
Spent 3 days at the Armada Hotel. Could not fault anything. Super time. Staff so friendly and helpful. Location perfect
Staff consistently helpful and friendly. Room excellent with a lovely view. Food was very good. I loved the music in the bar. All 60's music!
Great value, superb food, professional friendly staff. Cant fault, would highly recommend.
The staff are wonderful. Lamp in bedroom dusty. A hand held shower would be wobderful rather than a rain shower. No shower caps supplied and toiletries for one person only Same were supplied when requested.
Wow what a fab hotel. We stayed one night in a seascape suite. The view was amazing. We ate in the restaurant and the food was really nice. The staff were so warm and friendly given the current situation.I didnt get the name of the lady in reception but she was so nice.We will definitely be back again. It is a great location aswell for exploring the surrounding area.
Very enjoyable stay
Food was excellent
Hi, I just returned from a stay in the hotel last night. Check in was very quick, beautiful dinner & drinks in Johnny Bourkes bar last night and the room was lovely, very happy with everything. Breakfast however was a disaster. After booking a time slot of 10am, we arrived exactly on time with 5 other groups of people in front of us waiting for a table. We waited approx 15mins for a table which we didnt mind so much as we understand space is limited under Covid guidelines etc. As we were being brought to our table, there was definitely at least 10 groups of people queuing and waiting for their table. The corridor is narrow and social distancing was out of the window, there should never have been that amount of people queuing. We were shown to our table and the manager explained how to get our breakfast. We ordered our tea and toast/brown bread etc and made our way to the buffet breakfast. We waited 15mins for our tea& toast to arrive while our hot breakfast went cold. It was extremely frustrating. The staff were literally running around the restaurant, they were all very pleasant but it was obvious they were extremely busy and stressed. We felt bad even asking for ketchup/orange juice etc. It created a very chaotic atmosphere around the restaurant and the experience was far from enjoyable. The breakfast itself was lovely and would have been even nicer if we got to eat it while it was hot. The rate we paid was very expensive and for that money, I would expect a much higher standard from this hotel.
Menu is very good but could do with a pasta dish
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Armada hotel this weekend. It was our first time staying at the hotel. The hotel cleverly caters for all groups, from families to couples. The rooms are really spacious, clean and really quiet. We highly recommend dining in the Pearl Restaurant, the food and service was second to none in terms of presentation and quality and it was topped off by a fantastic view! It was evident throughout our stay that the hotel have implemented all the COVID safety guidelines from mandatory masks amongst staff, social distancing during dining, Perspex screens at reception, hand sanitiser stations, regular and thorough cleaning and disinfecting of rooms/public areas. We will definitely return again soon.
Couldn't be happier with our stay, staff are so helpful and friendly, views are magnificent and location is superb.
