Executive Chef Grant Murray and his team pride themselves on utilising the freshest, and where possible, sustainable local produce from one of the most abundant food and wine regions in Australia.
Other Side of the Moon is aptly named after one of the famous beaches and surf breaks nearby. It is easy to be swept away by such magical views, but the heart and soul of this restaurant is not the white sands and turquoise waters of Bunker Bay but the array of fresh locally sourced seasonal produce featured proudly on this Modern Australian menu.

Excellent location, staff assistance was excellent, including new trainees in restaurant. Staff at reception also very helpful. Great breakfast options.

We ordered a farmhouse pizza which was supposed to have chicken and chorizo on it but when it arrived it had piles of rocket and one visible slice of chorizo. It didn’t have much flavour
We ordered the scallop entree special for $26. It presented and tasted like a sweet dessert with 3 tiny cold scallops, complete with gold leaf and and sugar swirls, probably the most random offering I have ever been served before. Salmon main was also over cooked. Disappointing that the menu states they use Yallingyup wood fired bread when this is not the case.
The staff were largely inattentive (we were pouring our own win), the oysters didn't taste fresh and the menu didn't say where they were from. My barramundi was incredibly over cooked and the sauce with it had clearly been left so long it had developed a skin on top. Very disappointing. Not to mention the wedding going on in front of us with loud music and a smoke machine...not sure if poor planning, but if that was my wedding reception, I wouldn't want to be the entertainment for the dinner guests.

Absolutely fantastic experience at other side of the moon, worth the drive from Perth just for that dinner! My fish was amazing very tasty , share platter was delish too, desert was incredible, service was fantastic, and of course the view is sensational. Thank you
Ordered coffees arrived 20min after desserts. Main meals small for the price. Delicious though.
Service was slow - we waited 45 mins to get a drink and a bread roll after the waitress said I’ll be back in a few mins with a roll. Wasn’t overly busy but the girls were running their butts off to keep up - not their fault - poor rostering I would say. No table clothes no ambience.
The food was lovely and the staff were friendly. If you’re staying at Pullman’s Bunker Bay you must early at Other Side of the Moon at least once

The best meal my husband and I have enjoyed in a while. The service was impeccable, the perfect mix between attentive and not too intrusive. The food was absolutely delicious. We shared the duck spring rolls to start, great portion and very tasty. We both had the lamb for main and it was cooked to perfection, again a very generous portion. Dessert was the deconstructed lemon tart, my husband had the chocolate slice. Both were perfection. I can't wait to visit again. The food and waitressing staff are a credit to you!

We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary with our bridal party and their partners recently and our meal was excellent as was the service. Our waitress Hannah was very knowledgeable and patient with us whilst ordering and she has a lovely sense of humour! We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal and all the helpful staff complimented the experience. The hotel foyer and entry was beautifully decorated for Xmas which we also appreciated. Thank you to the chef and all staff. Jill
