Executive Chef Grant Murray and his team pride themselves on utilising the freshest, and where possible, sustainable local produce from one of the most abundant food and wine regions in Australia.
Other Side of the Moon is aptly named after one of the famous beaches and surf breaks nearby. It is easy to be swept away by such magical views, but the heart and soul of this restaurant is not the white sands and turquoise waters of Bunker Bay but the array of fresh locally sourced seasonal produce featured proudly on this Modern Australian menu.

Absolutely delicious mains - perfectly cooked medium steak and pork, both beautifully presented on the plate. And the dessert was divine! A little cool (but it is that time of year) and the service was warm and friendly. Highly recommended for a special night out.
We were celebrating my sons 21st birthday dinner and had preordered a cake, which was very tasty (too big for 7 people!), but it was brought out and placed in front of him, by the wait staff, with serving plates, no candles or sense of occasion about it. I expected a bit more. Service in general on the night was poor for a 5 star resort.
This is the best restaurant in the region, which we always visit at least once when we are on holidays in the south west.

Lady that managed things was very good but our waiter felt very novice and didn’t come around to our table to check in at all or take unused glasses, utensils, etc
The view and atmosphere is spectacular, looking across the beautiful Bunker Bay. The food spectacular too, I rate the steak 10/10. Cooked to perfection!

Very enjoyable meal, served by relaxed but attentive staff. The desert special by Romain was spectacular. Nice touch that he came to our table to explain the dish.

Start with a slight negative by the time the main course arrived at the table it was only warm apart from this I can say the welcome, food and service were all very good and would happily recommend and return.
We were quite disappointed with the food at this resort-based restaurant. Maybe our expectations were too high? Oysters were not shucked well, with lots of tiny fragments of shell throughout, which made them inedible. Were returned to kitchen & taken off the bill. As guests, I couldn't really recommend it. Fireside is lovely, and the ambiance is nice. Food just doesn't measure up, particularly give the fine dining prices. We used an entertainment 25% off voucher, and still thought it was expensive for what we got. The buffet breakfast is fantastic though - this is highly recommended. One suggestion - some greens with the smoked salmon/eggs perhaps? Spinach or rocket would have been greatly appreciated.

We are Accorplus members so the benefits of dining at the restaurant are so very valuable with the discount. We have been to the restaurant when ever we stay at Bunker Bay and always find the food and service to be of a very high quality. The staff are friendly and always enjoy the experience. It rates very highly on our visits.

Food was excellent
menu a little limited (GF options) , my meal was ok but not amazing. setting is lovely. staff were friendly but took forever to take drinks order/food order. they didnt seem to have certain tables they looked after so service was hit and miss, asked for GF bread when we were given dinner rolls and was told yes of course with a smile, then 15 mins later another waitress took bread plate and butter away. another 10/15mins later burnt GF bread came out. when drinks ran out had to flag staff down, had told original waitress will drink wine after initial champagne, a while later another waitress took wine glasses away. just seemed disorganised.
Quality of food was superb. Staff were also excellent, especially Maria, Shane and Eva. Only drawback is the continued lack of a dessert fork. I have no idea why this is neglected. I get left with the problem of chasing berries and the like around my plate with a spoon or to use my finger to assist. Not a 5 star finish to a meal. Having very large noisy groups in the main dining area is decided distraction to an enjoyable quiet meal and kills conversation, especially when there are alternatives available.
Beautiful dinner. Antipasto plate was amazing. The risotto was not what I was expecting and I wasn’t wowed with the flavour of the actual risotto , however it was still nice and the seafood in it was top quality. The affogatto topped it off nicely. Amazing service from Shane. She was a true delight! Definitely reccommend
Superb food and service. Recommend expanding the wine list a little in the $50-$90 range. Special mention for the dessert special, amazing!
