About Osteria Pulcinella
Established in 1994, Osteria Pulcinella has built a reputation for serving authentic regional Italian cuisine complemented by an exceptional selection of fine wine. Our restaurant has a rustic feel with a warm and comfortable atmosphere. The service is friendly, professional and welcoming. See what our customers have to say about us here.
Our motto is simple: “Nothing is too much trouble for our guests.”
We offer a full breakfast menu from 9:30am including expertly made coffees and wonderful homemade cakes. From midday, our lunch can cater to parties looking for a leisurely, relaxing meal as well as those that need to dine & dash. Our dinner service begins at 6pm and is a fine affair, offering unique and authentic dishes from different regions across Italy.
We are also happy to accommodate your special occasions and celebrations. We have two different areas that can be booked for private functions. Our back room can seat up to 40 people and the Bruschettaria, which has the feel of a private dining room, can seat up to 37.
We look forward to seeing you soon. Buon appetito!
Last minute booking and yet we had amazing service (which also included accommodating an allergy with no trouble), freshly made delicious food and very personal service. Would highly recommend.
For a new menu, everything was excellent. To start with, we had Cecina & Carpaccio di Cervo. For mains, we had the Cernia and Spezzatino. To conclude, for dessert we had the Tiramisu and the Homemade Profiteroles. All six items were outstanding. The service from Annabella, Maria, & Giovanni was, as always first class, most welcoming and helpful.
From the moment we were met at the door by the charming Sicilian owner we felt relaxed and cared for. The food was delicious and the wine suggestion perfect for our taste. Few places keep such consistency on all levels, over the years as Osteria Pulchinella did once again on this occasion. Will look forward to our next visit with pleasure.
Another amazing supper club, so good that we were all still taking about it 3 days after the event. Can't wait for the next one! Fabulous service from all the staff, delicious food and a great selection of wines. Thank you!
Always a great vibe with friendly staff and fantastic food.
Fantastic supper club evening, it was great to try 8 different dishes and accompanying wines. Food was delicious and service was excellent. Thank you to the chef and all the staff for making it such a great evening.
Very good food and service will for sure be going back
Excellent evening with a very strong music act. The menu provided us some nice choices as well.
Lovely food, great atmosphere.
Excellent in every respect. Delicious food and friendly service.
Last chance to eat outside this year. Charming, attentive staff & delicious good, as always.
We had a lovely brunch - everyone commented on how delicious the food was and the service was extremely quick and friendly. Thank you!
Great food served by friendly efficient staff. For me this is one of the best restaurants in Twickenham
Fantastic atoms. Great food and service. You get what you pay for.
Both the food and service are excellent. Especially enjoyed the raviollini.
We were placed on a table for 2 right next to the open door , which was not ideal. We asked for a side salad and were told there was no salad at all. This was strange as Waitrose was still open and someone could have gone and bought salad ingredients! My friend and I ordered the ravioli which was very rich and buttery and difficult to eat without a salad to lessen the richness of it. My friend couldn’t eat it at all. Fiinally, my friend asked for ice cream for pudding and was told there was no ice cream. The whole evening was very disappointing and I was embarrassed as my friend had come from Ascot and I had booked the restaurant. I live in Teddington and don’t often eat out in Twickenham. I would not choose to eat at the restaurant again,
have been eating at Osteria Pulcinella for over 10 years and like the consistency of quality and service.
The server, whose name escapes me, was attentive and helpful. Issues : no pizza served at night. The icebox was broken. The pasta was undercooked and the sauce was subpar. Nevertheless, we'd try the restaurant again given the quality of the people that ran the restaurant that night.
Obviously a busy day with the Rolling Stones concert on at the stadium but, having eaten here 3/4 times previously, it was a shame the staff were somewhat overrun by the demand on the day. Despite the delay and difficulty in gaining the service which would have made for a better experience the food was, as ever, excellent. So not so much a complaint, more a disappointment that the experience for my guests wasn't quite to the standard I'd lead them to believe we'd enjoy from a restaurant I've come to enjoy a lot on the previous occasions I've dined with you.
My fave Italian restaurant. I'm so lucky it's so local:)
Fantastic evening - food service and atmos, spot on ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Good Italian food in a nice setting, the service is attentive but there could be more choice for vegetarians/vegans.
It was very expensive and the food only ok. Service very slow. Starter was nice but mains not at all we got beef pasta which was just tomato sauce and risotto which was really salty. It was ok.
