About Osteria Pulcinella
Established in 1994, Osteria Pulcinella has built a reputation for serving authentic regional Italian cuisine complemented by an exceptional selection of fine wine. Our restaurant has a rustic feel with a warm and comfortable atmosphere. The service is friendly, professional and welcoming. See what our customers have to say about us here.
Our motto is simple: “Nothing is too much trouble for our guests.”
We offer a full breakfast menu from 9:30am including expertly made coffees and wonderful homemade cakes. From midday, our lunch can cater to parties looking for a leisurely, relaxing meal as well as those that need to dine & dash. Our dinner service begins at 6pm and is a fine affair, offering unique and authentic dishes from different regions across Italy.
We are also happy to accommodate your special occasions and celebrations. We have two different areas that can be booked for private functions. Our back room can seat up to 40 people and the Bruschettaria, which has the feel of a private dining room, can seat up to 37.
We look forward to seeing you soon. Buon appetito!
Very quiet on a Sunday evening but we had an amazing meal here. The proprietor was very welcoming and the service was attentive but not overbearing. The pasta dishes we both had were outstanding, perfectly cooked and full of flavour. We will return if we are around these parts again.
Great lunch with my daughter and friends. Yummy food and great service. In a classic noises Italian atmosphere!
We love this place - and are regulars. Staff all very friendly and the menu is also excellent and very reasonably priced. The green olives are also delicious and the wine selection very good.
We love this place and come here often, highly recommend!
This was our first visit to Pulcinella. What a wonderful experience! It was the first time our guests had been to Twickenham, either for a rugby match or the town. Their verdict was simply 'one of the best meals we have ever had'! We second that sentiment. We will definitely book a table early next year when we come for The Clash. Many thanks, Maria and the staff. Mike & Sally
Such a great restaurant with a fabulous waiter and delicious food. Thank you for making our evening special!
4th or 5th time I've been here. Every time has been top notch
Have tried many restaurants in Twickenham over the years for pre match lunch with family - this is my favourite for its great combination of good food and drink, great value and nice surroundings.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and our meal. The service was terrific and we felt as though we were really on the Continent. A warm, friendly place... too bad we're heading back to the States, or we'd be visiting again soon. Grazie!
Great staff and service as always and excellent food. Good specials and the pasta ragu was delicious.
Very nice meal. Decent value for money.
Really love this restaurant. Always great service and atmosphere, and incredible food.
Lovely mother’s day lunch. Always friendly Service and great food
We loved and most importantly my Mum loved it. Thank you
Truly we excellent service and food. No hesitation in recommending this restaurant.
Service was very good, didn't take very long for our food to arrive and the prices are competitive. A lot has changed on the menu since the last time I went there but the options are good so do check the menu before going.
When we arrived the place was busy and the waiters were rushed and we had to make an additional request to be served our drinks but once the crowds subsided we received good friendly service and the food was excellent.
Nice local Italian, simple menu.
I have been to Osteria many times before and always loved it. So perhaps I can write off my experience this saturday as a bad visit - although I wont be rushing back given that it has very strong competition on Church Street. Me, my pregnant wife and daughter arrived for an 'early mothers day' meal. We were put on a tiny table for 2 right by the window and a heather cranked up to full. I did ask if they had a larger table but apparently they didnt - a number of tables remained completely empty during our whole visit. The food as always was nice but they did forget sides we had ordered - in fairness they were then taken off the bill. when the sides finally arrived towards the end of the meal the waiter (who was also front of house) said actually you do need a bigger table - noting that despite us all resting our drinks on the window ledge - there was not enough room for the plates. we had nearly finished by this point so it was pointless to move and we just finished out meal and asked for the bill. The waiter seemed confused as to why we werent staying for my daughters free desert but the tabel was so unbearably warm that my daughter was now feeling ill. Food was good - service was awful. those little tables are for 2 people. it is unreasonable to put 3 on them. just refuse the booking and we will go to Masienello instead.
As always the staff in Osteria Pulcinella were friendly, helpful and very accommodating. I love this restaurant and always eat there when at Twickenham.
Food and service as ever were excellent. However, I would have expected something significantly different on ther menu to the normal a la carte for the price charged for the 'Rugby Lunch'.
Everything perfect except the table - a little squashed at the back near the kitchen. Other than that, a very enjoyable afternoon. Thank you.
the service is outstanding which makes a real difference when the place is busy. food and wine always a great standard.
Tasty, great atmosphere, great lighting l, great staff.
