About Osteria Pulcinella
Established in 1994, Osteria Pulcinella has built a reputation for serving authentic regional Italian cuisine complemented by an exceptional selection of fine wine. Our restaurant has a rustic feel with a warm and comfortable atmosphere. The service is friendly, professional and welcoming. See what our customers have to say about us here.
Our motto is simple: “Nothing is too much trouble for our guests.”
We offer a full breakfast menu from 9:30am including expertly made coffees and wonderful homemade cakes. From midday, our lunch can cater to parties looking for a leisurely, relaxing meal as well as those that need to dine & dash. Our dinner service begins at 6pm and is a fine affair, offering unique and authentic dishes from different regions across Italy.
We are also happy to accommodate your special occasions and celebrations. We have two different areas that can be booked for private functions. Our back room can seat up to 40 people and the Bruschettaria, which has the feel of a private dining room, can seat up to 37.
We look forward to seeing you soon. Buon appetito!
Fantastic atoms. Great food and service. You get what you pay for.
Both the food and service are excellent. Especially enjoyed the raviollini.
We were placed on a table for 2 right next to the open door , which was not ideal. We asked for a side salad and were told there was no salad at all. This was strange as Waitrose was still open and someone could have gone and bought salad ingredients! My friend and I ordered the ravioli which was very rich and buttery and difficult to eat without a salad to lessen the richness of it. My friend couldn’t eat it at all. Fiinally, my friend asked for ice cream for pudding and was told there was no ice cream. The whole evening was very disappointing and I was embarrassed as my friend had come from Ascot and I had booked the restaurant. I live in Teddington and don’t often eat out in Twickenham. I would not choose to eat at the restaurant again,
have been eating at Osteria Pulcinella for over 10 years and like the consistency of quality and service.
The server, whose name escapes me, was attentive and helpful. Issues : no pizza served at night. The icebox was broken. The pasta was undercooked and the sauce was subpar. Nevertheless, we'd try the restaurant again given the quality of the people that ran the restaurant that night.
Obviously a busy day with the Rolling Stones concert on at the stadium but, having eaten here 3/4 times previously, it was a shame the staff were somewhat overrun by the demand on the day. Despite the delay and difficulty in gaining the service which would have made for a better experience the food was, as ever, excellent. So not so much a complaint, more a disappointment that the experience for my guests wasn't quite to the standard I'd lead them to believe we'd enjoy from a restaurant I've come to enjoy a lot on the previous occasions I've dined with you.
My fave Italian restaurant. I'm so lucky it's so local:)
Fantastic evening - food service and atmos, spot on ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Good Italian food in a nice setting, the service is attentive but there could be more choice for vegetarians/vegans.
It was very expensive and the food only ok. Service very slow. Starter was nice but mains not at all we got beef pasta which was just tomato sauce and risotto which was really salty. It was ok.
Brilliant.....again! Their motto “Nothing is too much trouble for our guests” was definitely met everyone in our group (4 young lads and 4 dads enjoying a casual lunch) met all the way through. My third time and I'll be back soon for the fourth.
We had a great time at Osteria Pulcinella and service was fun, attentive and efficient. First courses were special and amazing so had high expectations for the mains. These were sadly bland and disappointing. Would like to see the consistent great quality cooking of previous years.
Fabulous food, fabulous service.
Made to feel so very welcome, each time we go in it is like returning home after a long time away. Best restaurant in Twickenham.
Always a great night at Pulcinella. Love it here. Enjoyed the service from giovani. Thanks
Always love coming here. Never disappoints. Great service and staff and lovely food. The waiters were so good with my little 3 year old as well.
Great meal and great service! Will definitely be back!
Excellent food and good friendly service despite being a rugby evening!
Pizza would be a very good addition as children options are limited
We have eaten here and enjoyed it but the staff were incredibly rude on arrival. There were five us and we had booked and they asked which table we wanted to sit at. We chose one and then they brought the menus. When another group arrived the told us we were on the wrong table and we had to move. The other group then sat at a completely different table. Some of the staff argued with each other. We will not return.
Nowhere better to eat in Twickenham.
Great local restaurant Food is excellent and reasonably priced.Service is attentive and friendly. My favorite restaurant in Twickenham
My wife and I decided to go for a meal on Friday night and chose Osteria PUlcinella. Even though it has been many years since we dined there, we were not let down by the experience. From the moment I booked the restaurant, I was met with a friendly recteption on the telephone and this continued as we turned up at the restaurant itself. The staff were very friendly (yet not overtly friendly) and the food was lovely together with the wine we both had. We both came away thinking we must not leave it so long again until we rebook a visit there. Thank you so much for a lovely evening. Dr Lynch
