Warm personal service, a delicious selection of dishes and cool informal surroundings. Oregano restaurant provides the perfect setting for a casual lunch with friends or that special dining occasion with the family. As always it's advisable to book in advance 0141 772 5951
Food was great, both my kids were catered for the baby portions are a great idea!
Staff was very attentive and very pleasant will be back
profeesional serice and friendly staff in addition to value for money meals
My self and my group found the place very delightful and really enjoyed dining there. The menu catered for all our dietry needs and the staff were ever so friendly and polite. I will definiatley be recommending the Oregano to all my friends weather its for a afternoon lunch a few beers on a saturday or a whole family celebration
Hi Lovely friendly place to have a stress free eating experience with lovely staff. Thank you
Service was great food was lovely lots of choice kids menu was great value and staff could not so enough for you were not rushed off the table made to feel very welcome and very relaxed would highly recommend
Disappointed with location of table, was informed when making booking, table would be in glass conservatory. We were at a table between two dining areas.
We enjoyed a nice lunch. The food was good and we had excellent service from the waiting staff who were very attentive and pleasant.
Dining at the Oregano was perfect for our Boxing Day dinner. The food was very good and of a la carte quality, and we couldn’t have enjoyed a better meal elsewhere. Staff at the Oregano cannot do enough for you and nothing is a problem. Well done for making our day special.
Good quality food as always, friendly service.
Very disappointed with the Christmas Day meal very little Turkey or potatoes, the Christmas pudding was stodgy, and to look for a service charge which not mentioned at the time of making payment is a bit underhand . Disappointing.
Nice meal, good service & pleasant surroundings
We had a lovely festive lunch, the roast potatoes were ace, the roast beef was also great as was the turkey
Lovely food and great service as always
Food lovely and beautiful decor but let down by no heating. Would have even more pleasant to sit in comfort and enjoy lovely food. Could also see some staff were new and lacked experience, perhaps just over the festive season. Also, still not impressed that the Glass House is still not wheelchair accessible, we can go to the moon etc yet can't fit a simple small ramp which I have asked for on numerous occasions...maybe Santa could bring one lol
Enjoyed our dining experience.
We were a group of 6 friends who only meet twice a year. We were delighted in our own company and did not want to spoil our xmas lunch with negativity. Quite frankly, we all had and extremely horrible meal. The food was really awful and our party reluctantly choked back about 20% of the food ordered. It was totally dreadful. I eat from the xmas menu, prawn cocktail was awful, turkey dinner, worst I have tasted in my life. The table was not set properly either. Very very poor. We did not order dessert as the first two course were so bad. We did not complain as we just wanted to enjoy our catch up. Staff were nice. We would never come back.
Very nice local restaurant
We booked this as our annual Christmas business lunch, we where bitterly disappointed. The service was slow as we waited half an hour for our drink order to be taken when the food was eventually served the roast sirloin of beef meal , the mashed potato under the meat was freezing cold! This was sent back to be heated and whilst this took some time , other members of the party had finished their main course. Additionally, this was a festive lunch menu- yet there was no Christmas music, decorations or even crackers on the table. Finally, there was an issue with the heating in the glasshouse- this was not explained to us on arrival or we weren't offered to be moved into the main restaurant. The temporary heater switched off after a short time and an elderly member of the group had to put her jacket on to keep warm. At no point did we get asked how the meal was. The lack of attention from the staff was disgraceful. We found the staff to be unfriendly with no interaction with the guests. After the complaint regarding the cold food we were not even offered any sort of apology or compensation for this. I found the staff to be young and inexperienced at dealing with customers. VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTED!
Your new system should be addressed as waitress claimed she couldn’t void a duplicate dish - this will cause chaos over the festive season. An apology for the error would have been expected but never given!
Found the restaurant to be really cold and food pretty bland.
We all noted the the young lady who served us at first was less than happy at the time. Service got better as the meal progressed. 3 of the 5 starters had to be returned as they were cold but apart from that, the meal was fine.
Whilst food was good restaurant was very quiet for a Friday evening and this meant there was a lack of atmosphere when dining
Hi, we’ve visited twice recently and everything was great.. in particular I’d like to mention Josh and Ethan who were just brilliant- total ambassadors for excellent customer service and made our experience extra special :)
The staff were very nice, but we were left for long periods at a time when needing more drinks. The starters were good, but the mains were both overcooked. A bit disappointing
