About ORA Tynemouth
Our Restaurant situated on the First Floor of ORA is open on evenings and weekends where you can enjoy our Full Menu along with Al Carte specials (available Thurs-Sun).
Such a beautiful meal Nora and I had that night. Outstanding in every way. We loved it!!!!!
We usually love coming to Ora for food the first male server was great friendly happy to help fantastic but he went on his break then we seemed to have anyone who we could grab for drinks nice once we got them etc But the food was not as good as it had been in the past smaller dishes and the mussels were definitely off! (We left them)
always an excellent experience . Attentive service and excellent food
Atmosphere was great, all staff were very friendly. Wine is pricey for a good bottle. And the food is ok
Celebrated my birthday here and had a really lovely meal, we’ll be back!
Lovely night for my Mum's birthday. Brilliant food and service
We had an enjoyable breakfast but the music was quite loud and also I asked for additional avocado on my breakfast but there was none available
We were met with a friendly welcome and shown to our seats, seating area wasn’t good, we were seated on the main walkway to the toilet area, even though there was a one way system in place, people looked confused and came back the same way, I felt like we were exposed to everyone. Service was average as it took approx 15 to 20 for someone to get us a drink, meal was ok, but complained to the waiter with regards to the chicken guojons, they were so over cooked and burnt a little on l side, my partner and l both decided we couldn’t eat these, but still the waiter done nothing about it and only apologised. From some reports and recommendations I really thought I was going to have a lovely night, it surely never lived up to its reputation.
Great service and lovely meal
We had a lovely night with great service
Hot food on cold plates, my biggest hate. Food was lukewarm. The food took a long time to arrive so we didn’t comment at the time as we were in a hurry, but it would have been much more enjoyable on warm plates. It was a busy lunchtime.
Delicious as always and the staff were all really welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu. Definitely a Tynemouth favourite :-)
This is a firm favourite for us. The atmosphere is always welcoming, the food, especially the tapas is fantastic, the staff and service are first class and the price is worth it. We probably go monthly and have never had a bad experience.
Would 100% recommend. Our favourite place to come for breakfast - great service too.
Food and staff excellent
Excellent food as always Fantastic procedures in place to make them COVID-19 secure wouldn’t hesitate to go back
Foods always lovely and staff extremely helpful
All in all a pleasant visit to Ora. However a couple of disappointing things. We arrived at 10:30 and a Sunday and was told there is no hashbrowns available and the Avocados are not ripe. Also there was no toilet roll in the ladies toilets, this shows that the toilets are not checked very regularly which now more than ever should be paramount.
I have dined with you On lots of occasions , this t I’me though the food was substandard . We ordered the tapas and the king prawns as extra which were boiled in an awful sauce , I had to send them back . Disappointing when previously had nice food .paid full price as it was a Saturday first time out in months
We visited Ora on Friday, we were served by a very pleasant guy, he was lovely and polite. Social distancing was in place, very spaced out, masks worn by staff etc. We opted for the tapas, the calamari, chicken and arancini were great. :) was a bit saddened by the lamb kofta as the pita was very tough and hard to chew through so we had to leave it. Other than that we had a nice time and would go again.
The plates we get to put our tapas on are always cold. I would prefer them to be warm to put the food on
One of many visits to Ora in recent years, the food and service is always great. We had Tapas which were excellent, dessert was delicious. Fairly quiet however I think that’s more to do with the present circumstances.
We love Ora! One of my favourite places! The food is always great and it’s so safe in the pub. The staff work really hard to clean and make sure everyone is safe. Thankyou!
Tapas deal is good
