ON is a creation of Philippe Orrico following the launch of his first solo venture, Upper Modern Bistro in 2013.
With ON, Philippe is joined by three long-time friends and rising stars in the Hong Kong restaurant scene – General Manager and cheese master Jeremy Evrard (former director of restaurants at the Four Seasons Hong Kong, who was instrumental in the hotel’s Caprice restaurant securing three Michelin stars during his stewardship), Operations Manager & Sommelier Nicolas Deneux (former head sommelier at Grand Hyatt Hong Kong) and Head Barman Giancarlo Mancino (international mixologist and bar consultant of Otto e Mezzo and Il Milione fame).

the carpets on the stairs and around the restaurant are all very worn out. some of the chairs are all looking tired.

Impeccable as always. ON is perhaps our favourite restaurant in HK by now and it’s sad that this was our farewell. First time with our baby. The team was super helpful and the food as excellent as ever. 4/5 in terms of atmosphere for the slightly off track choice of music.
AMAZING artichoke carpaccio, cavatelli with seafood sauce, and pigeon. Very impressed with the "house" champagne, and sommelier was great. Absolutely outstanding evening!
Love this place. Food is good but I’d go just to have the cheese board. We typically go for lunch and it’s usually quiet so hard to judge the atmosphere ... but we go for the food. A solid favourite. Great staff.

Food quality was excellent - the egg ravioli dish was particularly good.
Looks like a strange location from outside, but in fact its a marvellous place inside. Great for friends, business or even a romantic meal. Cheese selection is the special treat at the end.
Excellent services! We were in a hurry and requested speedy delivery of food ordered. Dishes were delivered promptly whilst presentation/food quality were not compromised.

The food and drinks were absolutely outstanding. It was great to see the chef at work and we really appreciated him popping over to our table. Service was generally very good although there was conflicting information from different serving staff. When I asked for a glass of red wine with my food I was told it wasn't included in the package despite seeing red wine on other tables. When we were informed that drinks service was about to finish we were asked if we wanted a last glass of wine or champagne even though we were told the red wine wasn't included. It does state on the menu champagne and fine wine is available. Staff members were very attentive. It would be nice if bottled water was included in the price. We didn't enjoy the Panatone so much and thought it was a strange thing to be in a french pastry basket. All food that we chose absolutely amazing. Would certainly recommend to friends.

They serve some classic French dishes with a contemporary twist, and every dish we had was delicious: hamachi carpaccio, La Saint Jacques, La Sole Meuniere, Le Gâteau au Chocolat and L’Ananas. They have an extensive wine list that features many outstanding French wines as well as fine selections from other major wine regions especially Italy and Spain. The staff were friendly and attentive.
It is unusual to findab establisment with the depth and sophistication that On Dining provides. Chef Phillipe and team constantly exceed expectations in both the 28th floor dining and 29th floor lounge.
