Really interesting venue, wonderful afternoon tea with friendly service.
We had the Festive Afternoon Tea and it was fabulous..Loved the venue. We would definitely return and recommend to friends
Staff were very attentive!
Possibly the best afternoon tea I’ve had, and I’ve had a lot! Service was outstanding and the food was delicious
No one to greet on arrival. Waited to be told where to sit. Not taken to table .waiting a good 10 minutes before anyone came to the table. Found coat rack on own. Had better afternoon tea .
I booked afternoon tea, my confirmation also said afternoon tea. But when we arrived it wasn’t on. Very odd. It was my mums birthday who had come down to Liverpool for one weekend only and I wanted to treat her to afternoon tea. And obviously we couldn’t get in afternoon tea anywhere else now as it was so last minute. Very dissapointing.
Lovely decor and friendly staff. The food was superb.
The guy that was waiting on was brilliant! (I didn’t catch his name) Really knowledgeable and nothing was a problem! Very bubbly and energetic! Lovely atmosphere and we were not rushed at all!
Good food very friendly and excellent value
Went for festive afternoon tea with my mum and sister. We had a lovely time - great food and atmosphere. Would definitely recommend! Emma was lovely too - very chatty and friendly
Felt it was too spaced out.
What an amazing find absolutely no faults We had afternoon tea with prosecco which also came with unlimited tea or coffee. The price was more than reasonable and we weren’t left hungry as you can often find with afternoon tea. The service was good and we weren’t rushed will definitely recommend and return. Thank you
Thank you for a fantastic afternoon tea , the food was fab and the presentation beautiful, especially the cakes .We loved the use of edible flowers that added to the aesetics , your staff made the occasion feel very special , Thank you
It was very cold in the room and some people kept their coats on. Otherwise, service and food were spot on. Not sure why we had to pre-order as it wasn’t busy at all.
Best afternoon tea ever, even better than the ritz n the Dorchester Champagne was excellent The lady who served us, was super efficient n v plesent Will be back
I feel like we were asked for drinks as soon as we sat down without giving us much time to look at the menu but then the longer we were there we felt a bit forgotten about. A couple of things we had to chase like sides and drinks.
We attended a 'secret session' for brunch. The food was great and lovingly presented (very Instagram worthy!). Staff were very helpful and friendly, the live music especially was fantastic! One small criticism - it would be great to get an option on how the eggs should be cooked during brunch as we would have preferred fried. But otherwise fantastic! An added bonus that they opened the roof garden due to good weather which we loved! Will ensure i return on my next visit to Liverpool. Such a beautiful city!
Lovely afternoon tea. It was early 12 ish so not many people dining. Unusual setting but in a good way. Will recommend friends.
I was saddened several times on my visit. Service was substandard the host pointed to the corner of the room and told us to sit over there having a pram with me it was hard to naviagte right the way across the venue padt the already seated guests when tables closer were empty, the waitress was rushed off her feet and your managers just stood at the bar talking we waited over 15 mins for a refil on out tea. Mixed berry jam was bitter and clearly just blackcurrant. When we asked for an alternative we were told there was none and we would have to make do. The cheese and mustard sandwiches were vile and inedible for both of us. The eclaires were soggy and scones were hard as rocks. The disabled toilet/ baby change has a coat rail and room divider outside and made it difficult for me to get inside to change my daughter these items also block the fire exit and evac chair. The only saving grace was the creme brûlee was delicious however the added meringue and cream was too much for the dessert and unnecessary. No atmosphere and felt like we were an inconvenience pushed into the corner with our pram. Overall a disappointing afternoon.
Lovely atmosphere with classy ambient live music. Just perfect for afternoon tea.
Amazing quality of cake, teas and sandwiches; especially the ham hock! Waitress Melanie was lovely and very attentive to our needs.
Both the food and service was impeccable
The staff were faultless and the afternoon tea was gorgeous as it always is. Another lovely afternoon!
Super time. Afternoon tea was excellent and superb value for money. The service was excellent and we were well looked after during our visit.
Brilliant night at the bonfire night event. Food was lovely. Amazing view from the roof. Kids loved the sparklers.
