1.30 booking Had our grandson with us so took longer to get to go & get our main meal. I went to get mine & staff packing away main meal. I had to ask them to put my husband a meal up. As he was sorting out our grandson. Which they done so. Only to be told everything finishes at 2.30. Which we we not informed. Food was average over rated not worth the money.
The sliced meat was tough and unappetising Chicken also tough and dry The only edible protein was the barramundi and prawns. Salads were good and the desserts were nice but nothing chocolate available- disappointing Our used plates piled up on the table with nobody to collect so we began to stack at the end of the bench seats. An hour later somebody came to take them away. This really could be improved especially for Mother’s Day - why don’t you try a seafood buffet next year as you couldn’t get the other meat right at all.
Great friendly staff who go above and beyond
was not impressed that we couldn't not put food on our own plates but staff were generous with portions. desserts were more frustrating as you couldn't see the options to choose.. seafood was fresh and tasty and loads of options. staff were friendly and helpful.
Over priced poor quality and flavoured food
Staff the best part of the evening Food ok put not special
Great seafood buffet! Excellent service from staff with covid buffet restrictions
We attended Mexican night and the limited options on the menu were not all available. The food was very simple and extremely overpriced for what was offered. We have attended the buffet before and have been impressed. This was really disappointing and we have not gone back despite staying at the hotel for a week.
Disappointed you no longer offer Accor Plus membership discount for dinner.
We attended over the Easter break cost was okay however there was a 15% sercharge due to it being a public holiday. The service by staff was excellent, the variety of food was great, presented well and overall the food was tasty.
Understanding that cove19 is a major problem it was great to see the buffet meal was back. Felt a bit strange asking staff to load the plate but for health and safety issues was a workable idea. The staff in general were very attentive and helpful. Was a bit sorry I wasn't allowed to use my Accor Plus members discount even if only for the holiday surcharge rather than the meal as normal. Even so I'm a regular guest and will happily recommend you and keep coming back Cheers
We dined at Nouveau 2 consecutive nights. First night was a 1/10 all round. Would not recommend going for the share platter boards - over priced at $150 and had to pay extra for the kids meals ordered from the other restaurant. We left hungry, the service was average and even though we booked like they said we should, they didn't have a table with a high chair ready for us when we arrived. The following night (Sat) was a buffet dinner. It was much better value at $130 for 2 adults and kids under 5 ate free. The food was pretty good. Awkward with them serving up for you when you can't see the food on offer very well (salads, seafood or desserts), but we enjoyed it much more than the first night. Pretty average that the bar doesn't serve cocktails in the restaurant. And a bit of a joke that the accor restaurant discount isn't accepted either.
We were celebrating a special birthday and from the moment we arrived the night was made special.
The buffet breakfast was fantastic. The staff are amazing lovely friendly staff. Tho the dinner now so good had seafood platter mussles over cooked. Bugs not fresh over priced. Breakfast made up for it.
No bugs or oysters. The only cold seafood were prawns that were smaller and less tasty than what we can buy from Coles. Quality was way down from where it used to be.
We had the seafood platter for two and unfortunately were very disappointed. For $150 it was absolutely not worth its money. A few prawns, oysters, bugs and garlic bread. I’ve paid this amount of money else where and got about double the seafood with a hot platter na entree! We were so shocked at how little seafood you’re offered for that money. Definitely would not come back. Service and everything else we could not fault but what an absolute waste of money.
Chose the seafood platter. A little expensive for what turned up. Maybe the buffet would have been the go? Food was great quality though and staff very accommodating.
Enjoyed dining at Nouveau, very nice atmosphere and location. Food and drinks were delicious and received excellent service, thanks.
Worst dining experience. Thought Nouveau would be a fine dining option with waiter service. Seafood platter was served on a high tea small plate 3 tier style. Very dissatisfied and disappointed. When it was served we asked for a glass of wine and were told the bar was closed and we need to leave the restaurant and go outside to the other bar to buy a drink and then come back to our meal. We were shocked. My wife said all she wanted was a wine with our meal. The waitress then asked me to follow her to the bar. So I left my meal and went to the bar to collect our drink. We are still in disbelief of our experience.
Roast night was overrated and overpriced. COVID regs made service of food time consuming and awkward. Fish was gone less than hour into service and meat was dry. Al la cart offering of Solar was better and cheaper, which is not how the two restaurants are marketed or priced.
We introduced two new freinds to nouveau and the Lady on hot food serving was just throwing the food on the plate which wasnt very nice. The prawns were not as fresh as the other 27 times we came.
It was a fabulous buffet although it was the first time I did not to help myself to the food (COVIDSAFE) which was of course understandable. Food was delicious and plenty of choice. Although on the day I dined it was Seafood Buffet there were non-seafood options like chicken or lamb (which I tried and enjoyed too). With my AccorPlus membership my wife and I dined at half price (2 for the price of 1) which was a steal. There were plenty of other diners which made the place buzzing. The only drawback was the wine selection which was very limited and the wines in offer were rather pedestrian. Perhaps the other downside was due to us not staying at the hotel and wanting to pay using Accor gift card - we could not use it in the Restaurant and had to go to Reception to book a virtual room to which to charge the buffet but it wasn’t too much hassle and won’t stop us coming back.
1. Hot food was luke-warm at best 2. Pasta was not fresh and tasted like store-bought 3. Veal was chewy 4. Presentation of buffet was limited by covid precautions and unfortunately resulted in poorer ‘Buffet experience’ 5. Available sides of salads and greens was disappointing. Not very Italian themed - no caprese salad etc 6. Ice-cream melted soon after it was scooped. The cheese platter and fruit salad was good but the other desserts seemed commercial and not fresh. For the cost of $57 pp I expected fresh, hot, more authentic and less commercial food and possibly some drinks to be included. Very disappointed with the overall experience and cost but staff were kind and attentive and location was convenient. We would definitely not recommend Italian night.
Food is great, value for money, probably not. Dinner is good. Breakfast was cold. Staff were excellent.
Beautiful seafood feast with exceptional wait staff.
