The food is as tasty as Aizle & the surroundings are very calming and relaxing
Amazing food, fabulous service, lovely wine, couldn’t fault any of it and will definitely be back soon.
Great food well presented. Friendly knowledgeable staff
We thoroughly enjoyed Noto. Some really excellent little plates - we ate nearly the whole menu. Don't miss the burrata with fresh peas, the crab with warm butter or the plaice with chicken butter and spring onion potatoes. All utterly delicious. Service is fast and friendly so you may want to do what we did and order a few dishes at a time (rather than have everything arrive at once).
Great to see NOTO up and running after years of being huge fans of Aizle! Enjoyed chatting to the team (familiar faces and the new NOTO crew) and can’t wait to come back. Food & service faultless, and pretty astonishing value.
We had such an amazing dinner, the staff are absolutely lovely and really passionate about the food which is great. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!
Fantastic place staff lovely The food was simply beautiful Every dish was amazing the look taste Spot on for any foodie. It’s a must
Great meal in a stunning new restaurant. Atmosphere, service and food were all outstanding. Will be back
This is a fantastic new addition to the food scene in Edinburgh and fills a needed niche. Chef driven food but in a more accessible venue. Our meal was certainly very good with some stand outs like the crab and butter, trout, and chicken bao. The chocolate and miso dessert and special were also great. A few others were a bit underwhelmimg, like the Jerusalem artichokes (which I typically love), or felt overpriced for portion (chicken Bao). The service was hit or miss. We had excellent service from the woman at the bar but our primary server was less well informed and failed to tell us about the duck special. The pacing of the food was a bit odd too. It would have been nice to know that if we ordered a few dishes at once they would all come at same time. I would have preferred things to be a bit more staggered. These are just kinks at a new place and we look forward to being back.
Excellent service, I felt welcomed and relaxed. Great food and drink, I especially loved the chocolate dessert. I also appreciated having some of the suppliers mentioned and why they chose them.
Would definitely recommend - we’ll be back.
This restaurant has great promise. We had a very nice time, good food cooked skilfully, albeit it did feel a bit pricey.
Exceptional everything! Highly recommend The North Sea crab, the oysters, the croquettes and the lobster XO. Don’t forget the cocktails! Warm, friendly, professional service. Spare decor perfect for the restaurant. Fabulous
Well where do I start. Fantastic time at Noto. Lots of great sharing dishes; recommend the Burrata and Croquettes. The red wine(bottle with a pig on) was incredible. Brilliant atmosphere and decor. Hope to come back when in town again
Tasty menu. Think portions for certain things could be bigger if emphasis on sharing - ie chicken bao £14 but only one bao and we were a table of 4. It was yummy though and would definitely come back, think it would maybe be easier if in a duo rather than a group of 4!
Great food, nice place, service was very friendly and chatty
Unreal food - just what you’d expect! 100% would recommend if you’re a foodie
Lovely food, great service and atmosphere. Would recommend
Fantastic service and food, small menu but was enough choice for us. The chocolate dessert was amazing! Only criticism is that seating was bench style which isn’t suitable for everyone.
We enjoyed lunch . Food good but very priicey as is the wine. This would be ny reason for not returning. Lots of competition in edinburgh as so many restaurants and not value for money. No atmosphere at all but early days. Sat beneath a speaker with awful music blasting out. Moved tables and asked for music to be turned down. It was. Serice was great. Will you still be there in one year....unsure.
Great spot to catch up with friends and enjoy high quality food and drink.
Lovely sharing plates of fantastic flavours. If you are a fan of Aizle you will love Noto. Highly recommend
