Norma is a contemporary and provocative restaurant, inspired by the food and culture of Sicily with particular emphasis on the Moorish influences on the Island’s cuisine. The celebrated Chef, Ben Tish is at the helm.
Norma embodies the celebrated old-school Italian hospitality and charm, taking inspiration from the grand café culture found in Sicily, the largest island in the Mediterranean Sea and celebrates the richly influenced cuisine of the Island.
Set across three floors of a characterful townhouse on Charlotte Street in London’s Fitzrovia, the first two floors are dedicated to the restaurant and a cocktail bar, with the top floor a private dining space.
The main menu features modern Sicilian-inspired dishes using seasonal Italian and British produce, from a selection of anti-pasti and pastas, to larger grilled meat and fish dishes. Upstairs in the private dining room, guests can order large family-style sharing dishes.
Great food and lovely service. We are outside and it was heated which was a plus!
Would like more red meat on mains that is not slow cooked
We had a wonderful waitor who was so attentive and the food was outrageously good! Would go back again and again.
Food was not upto expected standard. Ordered the duck pasta. Contained very little dark and was basically a very small portion of pasta and cheese.
Staff were exceptional atmosphere bad cause of covid food delicious. Tad expensive but worth every penny
Thank you to Liz x
Service was exceptional. The restaurant is beautiful. The food was excellent. Thank you so much. Hopefully see you again soon.
We absolutely love Norma, the food is delicious and the service is really good.
Really great but there were two items on the Christmas tasting menu that were not available and were substituted. Beautiful design of the restaurant and interiors.
Lovely relaxing lunch, staff were attentive but gave us plenty of time to relax and enjoy our visit., Food delicious. Not much atmosphere but that was due to the timing of our lunch. Just hope the restaurant manages to survive the Covid restrictions and loss of custom and income, we will return to Norma next year providing it is still operating.
Bloody excellent... I would rush back! Already told a few friends about your venue..
We had a lovely evening. The food was delicious and our waitress was brilliant. Very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. We will be back!
lovely interior, nice menu, good energy and vibe, definitely recommend, it's fairly pricey but worth a visit!
I went here for an anniversary dinner and cannot recommend it enough. The staff are so lovely and looked after us brilliantly, and the food is delicious
I was pleasantly surprised by the choices and slight variations over the classic Sicilian food. I will definitely return
Delicious, atmospheric and excellent!
Lovely food which has a homemade feel to it in the best possible way. The arancini, parmgiani and tiramisu particularly were great.
The festive menu was absolutely lovely. The waiter who served our table was brilliant too - didn't rush us and very informative. Will definitely come back.
Fab evening, delicious food, amazing service! Thank you Norma!
Last meal before Lockdown 2. We like Norma very much and enjoyed our meal, despite a slightly weird 'Last supper' atmosphere - not Norma's fault! So wonderful starters - particularly the wild fennel with gremolato, She had the arancini, scored highly. We both chose pasta mains - perhaps too much for us under the circumstance. She loved the Bucatini with lemon (and a small quantity of crab - I thought could have been a stronger flavour). Weird 'tripe like' pasta with pork was great. At lunch we don't drink so much but the glass of Malvasia red was top!
Loved the food so much! Wow I’m definitely coming back ASAP. My friend also loved her pasta dish and the dessert was incredible. The best tiramisu I’ve ever had. ❤️❤️
