About Nonna's Kitchen
At Nonna’s Kitchen, you can expect traditional Italian dishes just like our Nonna's use to cook with a slight modern twist.
Within the tranquil surroundings of Kirkintilloch's canal you'll find our brand new restaurant, where you can enjoy exceptional authentic Italian cuisine. Everything from mouthwatering pizzas and pastas to tantalising steaks and seafood is cooked to perfection, Nonna's way.
Music was quite loud when we were last in although it did not have an overall negative affect on the evening. Vanilla and honey cheesecake for dessert was a particular highlight of the night. Overall great night, will be highly recommending.
A delicious 3 course meal enjoyed by my friend and I from the pre-theatre menu. This option included the dish of the day which was swordfish. All 3 courses for both our meals were delicious and good sized portions, even though it was pre-theatre menu. The staff were pleasant and attentive without being intrusive. We will be back as the food and the atmosphere were fantastic.
Food was amazing & great value for money. All staff are so friendly & attentive.
Food was delicious, staff very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend a visit.
This was a party of 8, we all had a delicious meal and had fantastic service. We will definitely be back especially loved the music added something special to our night. Many thanks to all the staff.
Terrible experience. Table booked for 5.15 as we were going to another event and planned 1hr 30mins for our main course only meal. Our order was taken at 5.30pm and it was another 55 minutes before we eventually received our food. We had to alert the waitress that we hadn’t received our food yet and that other people who had arrived after us were given their main courses before this. On our second complaint we were given our food but by then only had 10-15 mins left to eat it so we had to rush it and couldn’t finish it, only managing about half before we had to leave. The manager deducted the cost of 3 diet cokes and a child’s pizza from the bill which quite frankly wasn’t good enough but we were in such a rush we had to accept it. This bad experience put a dampener on the start of our evening and as this was the 2nd bad experience in the last 3 visits, I will not be rushing back to Nonna’s Kitchen.
Had a great meal as usual. All food was excellent and service great despite being very busy
I’ve had lots of great meals at Nonna’s Kitchen with friends. This was my husband’s first visit and he loved it too! Aimee looked after us really well and couldn’t have been any more helpful and polite. Great food, great wine and great service! If it’s good enough for Lewis Capaldi, it’s good enough for me! Thank you to all at Nonna’s Kitchen for a lovely Saturday afternoon 🙂
We always eat here as the food is very good, the service excellent & we are not rushed, what’s not to like? 🤗
Fantastic night , everything perfect !
Busy Saturday evening between Christmas and new year. Staff were friendly food arrived quickly. Good good good service.
Another great night at Nonnas! Never disappoints :)
We had a lovely meal on Christmas Eve. It was a table for 9 people and we got excellent service . The waitresses did everything with a smile . Food was lovely and there was a great atmosphere- the place was very busy.
Was in a booth and far too cramped, prefer the round tables on the other side of the room. Maybe replace the booths with something else.
Great night at Elvis tribute, thoroughly enjoy the whole night and would definitely recommend to anyone!
Another lovely meal - service wasn’t as good as normal during last visit.
Our most favourite restaurant EVER !!
Great food and friendly staff, I can particularly recommend the Penne Amatriciana and the Vitello Milanese. Our party enjoyed all of the food we had. This is our second visit and we will be back.
Had a Lovley Meal with my friend.
