No35 serves fresh, modern cuisine emphasizing pure flavor matched with relaxed uncomplicated service and a wine selection reflective of their origin.
Food was nice however we had ordered cocktails and a bottle of wine when we sat down. The entrée came, still no drinks. The main came, still no drinks. I had to ask the waitress to at least bring the wine so we could drink something. After this she brought out the wrong wine and then did not fill either of our glasses once. I filled my own wine glass. The waitress did not pick up the bottle until we were leaving. Worst service I have received "fine dining" in Melbourne. Not a great birthday present for my wife. Disclaimer: the cocktails ended up coming halfway through the main and were given free thankfully
Had a great time at No35. Ordered a bottle of Merlot, two mains, two sides, an entree and a dessert (which had our anniversary on it which was lovely). We were stuffed! The food tasted great, full of flavour. The staff were very friendly and had a great number of suggestions for wine and food. Nice to have a skyline view of Melbourne while we ate.
Our favourite dining experience venue and once again we weren’t disappointed. Thanks No 35 for making hubby’s birthday special.
Food was good but service was poor. I am a regular guest and on this occasion, the waiter seem to flit around and serving other tables except our table of five with my visitors. One of my guest had to constantly ask to refill her water, I had to ask another staff member to clear our table after our main (sitting on our table about 25-30 mins) - and while he was clearing our mains, he cleared 3/4 of them and then went to another table to serve wine. Finally and importantly, while taking our orders at the start, our station waiter was distracted on another table - he recalled our orders three times!
Wonderful meal. Very interesting menu with fine quality food presented in a relaxing atmosphere. Service was efficient and friendly.
Another very enjoyable way to celebrate a (belated) birthday. Great value and lovely food but the service of water and drinks was a touch slow.
Great venue for brunch with drinks included.
Tables could have add some formal covering. Waitress was very helpful and accommodating. Thought the roast beef was very undercooked and the pork slightly overcooked; this was to my taste which may not had been to others. Food continually replenished.
Always a great place to come for lunch
Too crowded to get in service for handicapped people is antiquated and not up to 2018 standards and expectations
Amazing food, with great detail on flavors and presentation. The service was excellent. Was not rushed either, despite the 6:30-8:30 time slot allowed. Gave plenty of time to see a show afterwards. My only issue was the table was not well located, despite my request for a window seat (nearly a month before). I understand that this is not always going to be possible. I will definitely be back.
Love No 35. Always a great visit.
Bad service and too many people not enough staffs
Beautiful place to dine at the view is the best
We booked a set meal that guaranteed us the window seat. The view was great and the staff were very nice. My partner and I was very satisfied with the food and found the whole meal filling and tasted great! We went there for his birthday and it was a lovely touch that they wrote happy birthday with chocolate and a candle on a plate that came out with our desserts.
Great venue. Creative international fusion cuisine. Come at dusk to enjoy the view.
Overall a really lovely dinner.
Service was slow. Staff needed to be called to order food, get drinks replenished and to get cracked pepper. In general, the staff seemed to lack initiative.
Service was very professional apart from one slip. Our winter salad was very good and fresh on top but sadly there were a number of mottled and obviously old salad leaves hidden at the bottom of the plate. Something I would not expect to see in a classy restaurant. I pointed this out to our waiter and expected to see it come off our bill which it sadly did not. Otherwise, food was excellent.
Great initiative. New York lunch theme linked to MOMA NGV Exhibition. Assisted by the spectacular views and a lovely take on some typical New York dishes, we really felt transported to the Big Apple for a couple of hours. Thank you
Food and service was great. Price was very reasonable. Nice night view of the Melbourne CBD. Highly recommended.
I booked our table few weeks ago, and I have mentioned it was our anniversary and we would like to sit by the window with good view. When we arrived, the waitress put us in a table away from windows although there were many tables available by the windows. I ordered broth for my entree, it was really cold and tasteless. My wife ordered duck breast, same cold. The waiter put all our dishes in the middle of the table without asking whose dishes they belong to. We had to bring to ourselves. During our dinner no one mentioned our anniversary at all. Very disappointed.
