No35 serves fresh, modern cuisine emphasizing pure flavor matched with relaxed uncomplicated service and a wine selection reflective of their origin.
Not a bad experience but overall should be better. Tables too close together - server could barely get through. Red wine needed to be served a few degrees cooler. I know hotel is French owned but surely all the wine pairings should be Australian - not French and even New Zealand - Australia make great Pinot! I found being adressed Monsieur (or Madame) every time the server spoke to us annoying (and slightly pretentious) - Sir or Madam would have been nearly as bad. Generally we found the food bland. Spicy Cauliflower - no! Marinated beetroot - in what? We did have a good view! Sorry this is not a good review but should be better.
Great night, loved the experience
Hi there, I am normally a big fan of No35, unfortunatley my latest visit was not up to the usual standard. Our waitress took a very long time to get our drinks. Also when asked what the steak came with, she said it is a steak on its own, with nothing else. I ordered sides to make up for this happily, however when the meal came out, the steak came with mash potatoes and onions.. so I ended up paying another $15 for a bowl of potatoes which I didnt need, and couldnt eat. Also the steak I ordered was a very poor cut of meat, full of fat and grissle.. not very enjoyable for the price we payed. Just a bit of feedback. Hope it helps!

An excellent evening showcasing the talents of a great chef. Very interesting food.
Wonderful French evening with excellent food, service and wine.
Our waiter Romaine?? Was excellent, friendly and attentive. Great night!!
Very enjoyable evening, with great food, amazing views and friendly staff.
Sparkling wine was a delight. Food was nice but not as good as my expectations. Service was reasonable but not overwhelming.
It’s always a pleasure to dine at No35 food service setting always a pleasurable experience
We had the Sunday buffet. We were very well looked after. Thanks again.
We had the most amazing lovely wedding lunch at number 35 .we could not have chosen a better venue to bring our family of 26 people, all our guests were impressed with the food service and atmosphere.thank you very much for helping to make our day special. Regards Rhonda and Pam Hope
steak was cooked ok but extremely salty.
I’ve dined here before,I was disappointed that the atrium was closed as this was not pointed out on my booking it’s always nice to have a relaxed drink before dining...the view was spectacular...my steak was great but pricey at $60 my partner had barramundi portion tiny...I would have liked a more of a. Hoi e of wines y theglass, agai. Pricey...on paying the account by cash I’ve noticed I have a charge of credit card... very remiss on cashier! So overall for two drinks two main meals and one desert $160 to expensive...
Great dining experience
Definitely a fav dining place in Melbourne!! Absolutely love the whole experience it delivers. Faultless— couldn’t recommend more! Must go!
Staff, food, view. Everything was perfect!
Amazing views, but expensive for portion sizes
We really enjoyed our wedding anniversary at your wonderful restaurant.Thankyou so much for the little extra touch on our dessert plates saying Happy Anniversary that made our night just that little more special.
Some of the wine seems over-marking a little bit
Lovely pre theatre dinner! So convenient and a lovely view!
I absolutely love No35. It's one restaurant that I keep coming back to. I've recommended it to so many of my friends and they've also had amazing experiences.
I was impressed with the food, the slow cooked shoulder of lamb was delicious. Enjoyed the panoramic views of Melbourne, Not sure what the waitress said to us in French, that worried me a bit, but overall everything was very good We shall return.
