Great food and service
Great venue & wonderful food with great service
Fantastic social lively vibe and great food The service is fantastic, Ben the Manager really makes all guests feel looked after. The food is superb and the atmosphere is fun.
Great food and atmosphere
Excellent food served by excellent service. Tapas 31 came highly recommended by a couple of people and we certainly wasn’t let down at our visit yesterday. Thank you so much for a lovely lunch.
Amazing restaurant, such a wonderful addition to Woburn Sands high street. Food is delicious, hospitality and atmosphere excellent - love love love No. 31!
Great food and good service.
We had a great time at No. 31. The atmosphere was fun and the tapas was tasty. It's a nice alternative to a more traditional meal out. We are very lucky in Woburn Sands to have such a great choice. The only thing I would say is that the music wasn't put on until a bit later. It's always nice to have a little background music!
Only the second time we have visited but only discovered you 3 weeks ago. Service was very attentive and a good selection of tapas. We will be back soon .
Everything tastes amazing and the prices are great.
Great food and drink. Service attentive and friendly. Loved the DJ element and would definitely attend more evenings like this. See you soon!
A group of us visited here on a busy Saturday night for a birthday celebration and it was fantastic. The food was amazing, soooo delicious and the drinks were great too - our designated driver was very pleased to enjoy a non-alcoholic gin! Friendly, attentive staff and a lively atmosphere - perfect, we will all be back soon!
After visiting as a couple in the summer & having a lovely meal we were looking forward to eating here again, this time with friends. No 31 is constantly booked up so we were expecting great things. The restaurant was very busy & very noisy as it is all hard surfaces; the table we were given was by the wall near the front of the restaurant & it was really badly lit, so bad that we actually had to use our phone torches to see the menu! The young guy who offered us drinks initially was really pleasant & chatty & we received our drinks promptly but when our friends arrived & ordered drinks nothing arrived & he had to eventually go the the bar to ask again for them, even then there was a further wait for the bottle of wine we'd ordered.. We asked if the lights could be turned up so we could see to order which they did, however providing us with light caused the table behind us to be blinded by it! They really need to sort the lighting out, I'm all for ambiance but some tables are lit by huge pendant lights whilst others like ours had nothing & it appeared that turning up the lights caused those already lit to be blinded, we think a guest at the table behind us complained as the lights went down again shortly after. The first of the food we ordered arrived quickly, albeit not together, although I know this is a tapas thing. The food was tasty & we were keen to order more. Catching the eye of any of the staff was nigh on impossible & eventually en route to the ladies I asked if someone could take our order. With our food we had ordered more drinks, & yet again we had to go to the bar to chase them again after a wait, when they arrived, so did another round, so clearly no communication going on! Our second round of food was very nice, if a little over priced; £9 for two small chicken & chorizo skewers was a bit expensive we felt & the sweet potatoes with honey where just sweet potato fries but all of the food was tasty & we enjoyed it. When we asked for the bill the waiter took great lengths explaining to us there was a comments card & how it would make his day if we said something nice about him, & had he been more attentive to us whilst we were there then we might well have! All in all the food was nice, but not brilliant value for money but the real problem with No 31 is the ambiance & the service; when busy it is really noisy & almost impossible to have any type of conversation with each other. There appeared to be no continuity with serving staff, those that we saw, including the manager seemed to spend more time chatting with regular customers (which is great if you have the additional staff to cover this, but they don't) than checking if people had their orders taken or fulfilled. Most restaurants dedicate staff to specific tables so the staff know what stage of a meal guests are at. Sadly I don't think we'll return despite this being local to us. We eat out several times a week but want the whole experience to be good, not just the food. Tapas done well is a lovely thing & from now I think we'll stick to Los Reyes in Hitchin who have it spot on.
Had a great meal and friendly staff. They were very accommodating with my food allergy. Have already made another booking!
Lovely food and excellent service. Thank you
I went for a family lunch on a Saturday and it was very quiet but I like that it’s small and intimate. The service was fantastic and the food and drink was just as expected and will definitely be returning .
Food was absolutely amazing. Every mouthful perfection. Had to order more king prawns as they were best we had ever eaten. Had a espresso martini and oh my goodness best I have ever had or made ( and I thought I was pretty good) just pure yummy ness.
That was the first time in five decades that I've sat in a UK Bar and listened to live Latin American music - excellent - just what is needed - well done!
Fantastic atmosphere, the live music was great, thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Will definitely be back
The manager did a great job but he hadn't limited help, and so service was slow in terms of drinks and order taking. Food service was good, as was the food and general atmosphere
Great evening and the singer was excellent. (At times we found it hard to talk so could do with turning the microphone down slightly but did not spoil the night ) Good interaction with everyone and as normal food /staff were superb!
We were there for a birthday lunch, the service was relaxed not rushed ,we felt like we had all the time we needed to.enjoy the food and drink. We will definitely rebook.
There were twelve of us and it was a lovely experience from the booking and orrganising process through to the night itself. I currently live in Spain and the tapas were to an authentic standard and did not disappoint! We'll definitely be back.
Great meal and excellent timely service early evening as we were on a tight timetable. We prefer to come early as it can be a bit noisy when full. Suggest some means of deadening noise.
