About NIU in SM Aura
Niu (which means “nine” in the Viking language) is the sixth installation of the Vikings group after its arrival in the Philippines way back in 2011. Established at the lavish atmosphere of SM Aura in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, Niu stands out with its huge and decorative space along with its massively wide variety of international and local cuisines. Niu understands that Filipinos are excited for new flavors hence the commitment of bringing the finest dishes from all over the world. Guests can take the pleasure of appreciating delicious food while being in an ambience full of grandeur and comfort.
Niu takes pride in itself with having only the best. Despite being the most recent branch off from the Vikings Group, Niu is distinctly different just like how each Vikings branch is different amongst each other. With its carefully hand-picked selection of chefs, employees & staff who dedicate their excellent service, there is no wonder that Niu will definitely take its guests on an evolved dining experience.
Excellent service! Should be back soon.
Nice place,emply of food
Please fix airconditioning. The restaurant was too humid on the day we went there to celebrate.
We’re seated at section C and it is so hot. We didn’t enjoy our food that much because we’re distracted by how hot it is in our place.
I gave three stars for Service, because it was kind of slow. We had to ask different staff, several times, before we could have the plates and glasses, we no longer needed, cleared from our table. Whenever we ask them to do that, they would just tell us that they would be back, but they wouldn't. Three stars as well for Value for Money, because we did not get to enjoy their beer and wine selections. There was an on-going liquor ban on the day of our reservation, because of the Barangay and SK elections. Although it was not their fault, I would have appreciated it more if they had informed us about the ban, at least 2-3 days not one day before the reservation. That way, we could have thought of something else, because honestly apart from the steak, the menu at NIU is just the same with Vikings Mega or MOA. So why pay 1500 if you can enjoy the same food and drinks for only 1k either in Mega or MOA? For Food and Drink, I also gave three stars. As I have mentioned earlier, the menu can be compared to Vikings Mega or MOA. Now if you're going to ask me about the steak, I would say that I expected too much. I read a comment before claiming that the steak at NIU is a little bit tough. Who ever gave that comment was true to his words, because I was able to prove that the steak was indeed tough, as well as the lamb. The only thing we enjoyed from the carving section was the Angus belly. If the beer and wine were available, I could have given a different rating, especially for the Value for Money. Will I go back? Yes, if they still have the birthday promo in October.
Worth the money. Great food and service.
its better to increase the temperature in the area, its too hot.
Food was great. We just hope that there are also crabs and other seafoods serve for lunch.
Please improve the air conditioning especially in the area near the entrance
Would appreciate if there was a minimum dress code as it would do the decor more justice, but otherwise, the lunch was fantastic and loved every moment of it. Definitely going back for future celebrations. :)
We like the place, ambiance it's more on the classy and elegant type. Not much for the food choices but overall it was a great experience celebrating our son's birthday..😊😊
It felt like staff were lacking at some point but overall, the experience was still okay.
Big chairs are space consuming. The inner most dining area is not well ventilated.
Nice selection—although some dishes were oversalted for some reason.
We enjoyed our lunch. So many food to choose from. The taste is also very good.
If you guys could re-vamp your comfort rooms. Just the same, keep up the good work!
Food roster underwhelmed
Third time to dine here and its consistently a wonderful dining experience.
The oysters caused me acute gastroenteritis for the whole week. Make sure you deep it in vinegar before eating. I wasn't aware that lunch have few missing items compare to dinner (that's explains the 500 pesos difference). The waiter didn't gave me change, which I will tip anyway, but I did not appreciate the gesture. Our initial seat was not well ventilated and hot. Other than that, the food are great. Wide variety of choices as usual. A bit better than the normal vikings (gellato). The Angus Beef Belly is so tender but the rib part is like rubber. (put some chili salt to enhance it). We enjoyed everything in general. And we like it better than any other buffets we've been to. Unli wine! We'll try dinner next time. Thank you
We really have a great dining experience.. The food was really good specially their desserts.. I super love it! Thanks Niu Vikings for being part of my son’s birthday..
Food selection was excellent. You get to satisfy your palette without getting too bloated.
The food selection was great but we were expecting items which were not served during that day (Crabs, Scallop Dumplings, Death by Chocolate, etc.) even if it was a Saturday and the price per head was the higher one. It would have been great if those big items were there and the rest of the "slow moving choices" were removed. That made me feel like there's no difference between Niu and the regular Vikings at MOA, yet i paid more premium for the place and the wider range of food. The staff were all superb and accommodating but when it comes to value for money and food that fits my taste buds, maybe I'd still go for Sambokojin. Good thing our guests especially my mom and bro, who celebrated their birthdays there, enjoyed the experience. Hopefully, our next visit will be more than a Hakaw, Steak and tempura food trip. Overall, I'm still satisfied with the experience (especially the payment at the table and the very attentive staff).
Good service. I enjoyed everything...especially the unlimited wine!
