Everything in NEO has been hand-picked and carefully crafted, from our crockery to our bathroom decor, we are all about quality and attention to detail.
Have been to many afternoon teas and this was a 5* tea, on par with those in 5* hotel in London and great service thank you Only reason gave 3* for atmosphere was because we were the only ones their. Am hoping to return in evening for dinner
Great bar in centre of Bournemouth. Stylish restaurant serves good food but sometimes over priced. Attentive service - will be back.
Very enjoyable Easter Sunday with friends.Great service and wonderful location.Would have preferred to give the service charge to the staff who give us a great time.
Quite honestly simply the best roast ever and with the most excellent service too!
I had a table of 6 on Saturday evening under booking Mitchell White. Rump steak - freezing cold chateaubriand - over cooked and cold Lobster - this was sent back, over cooked and taken off bill - all chips and vegetables were sent back for being too cold. Quite frankly for the prices charged you expect a certain level of food and service, this is VERY below par.
When I am in Bournemouth I always eat in this great restaurant
Cocktails are not great value albeit that they taste good, food and service excellent. We'll be back soon
The cocktails were amazing. The staff were brilliant and very helpful. The food however was slightly under average to what we was expecting, the steak was asked to be cooked rare but came out well done and the chicken was slightly over cooked.
Always pay Neo a visit when we stay in Bournemouth. Fabulous in every department. Recommend to everybody we know!
Great meal and great staff, can not wait to come back
Lovely meal! Great amostphere and such a high class establishment
There are several great things about the Neo Restaurant on the first floor to make it a favourite among Bournemouth's 300 or so eateries. We enjoyed a first class restaurant experience. The tasty grub was the freshest. It was well cooked, thoughtfully seasoned and nicely presented. We chose a Spatchcock Chicken Sharing Platter for Two. We were not disappointed with the quantity. All very good value for money. I feel I am welcome to ask my questions about the menu to the chef. I feel put at my ease by the warm and friendly personalised service, beginning with the nice greeting at the door. Unlike so many restaurants in general these days, the tables are generously spaced out. This gives me, the dîner, a feeling of exclusivity and privacy in an unhurried space. I love the 360 degree floor to ceiling windows. Views to the left of the greenery in the Lower Pleasure Gardens. Views of the sea to the right where I can watch the seagulls float by at eye level. It has a fab location only a feeble stone's throw from the sea-front attractions by the main Bournemouth Pier. Cross safely on foot underneath Exeter Road. For those who don't only bicycle around town, it has parking on sit
The food was 1st class & the staff were amazing - so helpful and attentive - a credit to the restaurant. We will definitely be returning.
Great food and service, we went to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The only downsides were that the sparkling water was not sparkling and the homeless guy having a wee behind a bin in our full view across the road whilst we were having our meal. Expensive but great food and drink, my wife had a pink gin that she desperately wants to know what was in it as it was the best she has ever had.
I had a meal comparable with anything I have experienced at any of the Michelin starred restaurants I have visited nd the cocktails are incredible If I were to fault anything the noise from the bar does get intrusive on the first floor at times but the one cardinal sin in any first class eatery is not timing the courses properly. Sadly the waiter Brough our starters only minutes after we began enjoying our before dinner drinks and as a result I had to send them back to the kitchen.
Perfect night to Celebrate a birthday. Excellent service and location
Excellent chatty waitress
The food was amazing but the noise level with the wooden floors and large parties did not mix and we could not hear each other talk. But if you went on a quieter night or did not sit by the window I am sure it would have been fine
Always love it here. Top Bournemouth restaurant.
Lovely restaurant with a great vibe food really good and service excellent. Will be back soon
Fantastic food, beautiful venue and very friendly and attentive waiter. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend or visit again.
We have dined at Neos quite a few times now. Unusually the food on this occasion was below the usual top class standard with the pork being rather dry and the triple cooked chips clearly overcooked. I was surprised that they were served. The service was very good as always and we shall be back.
Disappointing....I attended yesterday for my colleagues leaving lunch, with 13 of us in the party. We had chosen from the set lunch menu and the starters arrived promptly, mine was nice and but quite simplistic for this standard of restaurant . My problem came with the main course, I and a couple of other members of our party had chosen the "Neo burger", this I hoped would be a top notch gourmet burger. Although the flavour was good I did not like the texture , that is obviously a personal choice for me but the real problem was the 6 pieces of gristle that I found and had to remove from my mouth during the 2/3 of it that I consumed, really not acceptable. I did inform the waiter when he collected the plates and I saw him relay this to the manager but at no point did anyone acknowledge or apologised to me about this . Once we had paid and left , one of my other colleagues who had been seated down the other end of our table told me that hers was the same. Handled differently I may have eaten there again, but now myself and most of us who attended yesterday , will not .....very poor Neo.
Very disappointing first visit. My cheese soufflé, which it was advised would take 15 mins from ordering came within about 5 mins and did not look that good, and on eating through it found some blue kitchen towel in the middle. My main fondant potato was luke warm and solid. To be fair the manager did deduct the items from the bill, but it was not worth the money, my husband's scallops were edible but overcooked. £60 later even after the deductions we left feeling extremely disappointed. £12 for a kia royale is also the most we have ever paid for this cocktail. Will not be returning. The waitress was however most pleasant and attentive.
