About Mud Dock Cycleworks and Café
Mud Dock Café
Whether you come to Mud Dock Café for morning coffee, a leisurely lunch, afternoon tapas or a romantic dinner, we promise a relaxed atmosphere, unrivalled views of Bristol’s harbourside, and – of course – fabulous food and drink.
Our favourite place in Bristol, for breakfast, lunch and dinner!
Food that came as not described on menu , ordered a sirloin steak that was covered in peppercorn sauce that was on specials board , I wouldn’t of ordered this as a main course if I knew this was how it was served! . I asked if I could swap chips for a baked potato and the waitress basically refused without even checking if this was an option and I would of been happy to pay a supplement if this was possible. What also put me off about this place was a homeless person came in and was going around the tables pestering people for money which I think was totally unacceptable bearing in mind this man was on crutches how did he even get up to the restaurant and be allowed to intimidate people and make them feel they should give him money!!
Ideal for informal meal. Good menu - I like the fact it’s not too big!
Friendly staff and lovely food although less honest customers may have paid the second bill which was presented for just the drinks!
Lovely place to come for early dinner, service friendly and attentive, food delicious, freshly enjoyed our evening.
What a fantastic find a great place with a lovely atmosphere and very nice food
Great atmosphere, service and food! Brilliant
I don't eat meat and am allergic to wheat, it's great to find somewhere with so many options which are both vegetarian AND gluten free. And the food is always lovely.
Fab food and atmosphere!
It was rather busy, but cannot fault the service, the staff was professional and polite. The food was very good, well presented, hot and value for money. Would certainly go again and recommend.
We brought friends who were staying with us and they loved it.
It's hard to find a table for 7 at late notice, but we were able to here, showing that evenings at Mud Dock are still a bit of a secret. We had a fantastic night out, the staff were really friendly and the bike decor works really well at night. Chicken shawarma was tasty and it's almost a shame there was no room for dessert as they looked great too. We'll definitely be back.
Relaxed atmosphere ,good food, great service
Lovely environment, friendly and attentive staff and I enjoyed the seabass special and the baked apple pudding.
Great meal. Love the ‘buzz’ in the room and the quirky decor
Easy booking system for a large table. Di have to email to confirm numbers as was more than the website allowed. Pre-ordered food and very smooth process once arrived. Drinks order taken and served, food arrived accordingly and was delicious. 5*
Amazing food. Lovely atmosphere!
Good food and hearty portions, as always. Waitresses were attentive and we didn't have to wait around. And we had 2 courses for £20 including tip. We'll be back!
Lovely and relaxing with a great view of the harbourside.
Great food, fun atmosphere.
A great meal and service.
I've always been a fan of supporting local and independent eateries which is why I'm always quick to recommend the Mud Dock Cafe to friends, family and colleagues alike. Not only for the convenience to my office, but mostly owing to the quality and selection of food and drink. I always find the service to be good and the food delicious. Yesterday's beef burger was no exception to that!
Great place to meet over lunch! We'll prepared food, and an interesting menu. Cheddar ales gets the thumbs-up, and wine was reasonably priced too. Friendly and efficient service.
Really enjoyed our visit.
