We loved it and will be back!
Service was poor as we waited 30mins to be served our food, we did receive an apology when we brought it to their attention and a small bottle of proseco was given to us free of charge. Also somehow the scones came without jam
Enjoyable meal in pleasant surroundings.
First time visiting Milntown and we loved it. Everything about it was perfect - lovely food, nice surroundings, friendly staff.
Food very good and very reasonably priced although one of the dishes we would have preferred wasn't available. Service extremely poor - it was 20 minutes before we were spoken to and 45 minutes before we got our food despite there being 4 serving staff working. We had to go up to the Counter to ask for menus and at least 3 sets of diners who arrived after us were served first. When asked on paying how we had found it these issues were raised - response was that you were having problems with a new system which was going to be dealt with. A sort of apology was offered but nothing in the response made us feel any better about a very poor dining experience from a Service perspective. Milntown would not be our first choice to return to.
One of the waitresses was arguing with the chef when I went up to pay. I had to go up to pay because our table seemed to have been forgotten about and we wanted to leave. Nice place but staff need to be a bit more organised and professional
It was a busy Sunday afternoon sitting and there were a couple of large tables in just before us so we had a 40 minute wait for food which was unfortunate. Disappointingly the roast dinner we got looked less appealing than others we saw leaving the kitchen with what looked like the end cuts of the meat; our vegetable bowl also contained mostly broccoli and just 2 carrot slices. Service was also slow in clearing plates, offering the desert board and then taking the order. Maybe next time we come we will try something other than the Sunday lunch offering ....
Friendly Happy Team Members , Made My Partner and I feel very welcome
Had a great Sunday lunch. Lovely food and very friendly and helpful staff.
Lovely afternoon tea!
The best cooked breakfast I’ve had. Excellent value for money and lovely friendly service in beautiful surroundings.
Beautiful lunch on a stunning day, seated in the garden, surrounded by stunning views. As ever, the food was of excellent standard with the homemade soup (mushroom) extremely tasty. Cannot wait to go back!!
Lovely lunch great service and value

Always a pleasure eating at Milntown.
Lovely setting, nice food & good service. On line booking was easy to do and makes booking a table easier.
Lovely staff and atmosphere. Fantastic food specially the daily special of goats cheese soufflé! Thank you.
