About Michael's Mount Merrion
A local, surburban restaurant focusing on Fresh Seafood & Steaks
The seafood bowl is a dish every fish-lover should order - just delicious. Sticky toffee pudding was delicious, as was the roulade. Lovely to go somewhere with a children's menu that credits children with having varied tastes - my little boy loved the prawns in garlic butter with spaghetti. And he LOVED the teapot!! Thanks to all for a lovely meal. We just wish we had a Michael's in Dublin 9!!
Service was excellent and it is a great suburban restaurant
Excellent food, excellent service as ever. Always hard to get a reservation but that's a good sign I guess! Thank you to all there for a lovely meal and great wine suggestion.
We had a superb evening celebrating our son’s return from the States
Great local place to spend an evening. Atmosphere food and service were top class. Well worth a visit
Lovely meal and great service. Restaurant is a bit noisy maybe less background music
We had a lovely evening . The food and service was fantastic !! Many thanks .
Fabulous food and service. Nice atmosphere, packed for lunch midweek, always a good sign!
An excellent meal - just wish we had a Michael’s where we live in Hampshire!
Thanks to Conor and Talla for looking after us. Top marks as usual!
As great as always
Just felt slightly rushed but food and service was as good as usual
Excellent food, wine and service. Thoroughly enjoy the visit and hope to travel over again.
Amazing fresh seafood . Can’t wait for the next visit
Lovely lively restaurant with great staff and great food We had a lovely evening and will be back
Lovely meal and night highly recommened.
Really enjoyed our dining experience, wonderful attentive staff in particular Conor who advised us expertly on both food and wine , can not wait to return for another seafood platter. A real gem of a restaurant.
Michael's is always very enjoyable and consistently delivers good food and service.
Some of the best food we’ve ever had and great value for money considering the exceptional standard of food. Service also excellent. Will definitely be back.
I think this is probably close to the best restaurant in Dublin. We chose two starters and two main courses. We were persuaded to trade our two main courses at €29 and €39 for the seafood platter for €36 for one despite the fact the menu said for two at €36 pps. We asked twice if that specifically would that be a total charge of €36 between us and were told (twice)that it would. When the bill came we were charged €72 for the shared platter. Admitting their error we received a deduction. This is simply a warning in case others try to do the same. It doesn't take away from outstanding service in a fabulous restaurant with something really special going on. The food is the best I have ever had. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
great for a treat ! and the staff are lovely
Always a winner; the best seafood in Dublin by a mile. But more than that, it’s the welcome, the chat, the friendliness, the place, the vibe. It’s a restaurant full of love. Love for produce, for cooking, for people. Can’t wait for our next visit.
Lovely experience couldn’t fault the place will definitely be back
Always a great vibe in Michael’s!!
Another amazing feast served to our party by the ever lovely & knowledgable Talha and very patient Conor. I can say no wrong, only regret is that if I came as often as I liked I wouldn’t fit through the door!
