Lebanese restaurant, vegetarian, halal, middle eastern.
I have been to this restaurant a few times and have always enjoyed the food but this was the first time I went on a Saturday night. This occasion was a bit disappointing as the staff were clearly rushed off their feet and my appetizer of chicken wings took over 30mins to arrive. When I asked the waitress she advised that it had likely been given to another table and there was no apology for this. At the start of the meal we were given complimentary hummus (which others in the restaurant were given) and I think this was done for collateral damage. The food is always good but I would advise not to go in the busy periods
I love this restaurant and lucky to have it so close to home. Fantastic service, food and atmosphere. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and relaxed meal.
Amazing food, such great vege options and great value
Thanks for the superb Evening!!! Michael
Wonderful service and great food - thank you!
We really enjoyed it food very nice and staff were very hospitable.
Great food and friendly staff. Service could be better about filling up water glasses, etc.
I just love Mesa. I lived in Tooting but now am out of London so when I come to visit this place is number one on my list.
Meza is a great place. Very good food and restaurant has character
Very well Looked after. Great food and great value. Will be back
The food was lovely and so were the staff. Me and my friend spent hours in there even once we ate our food and they did not rush us out at all
Delicious food, good value, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff.
Lovely food. It would be good to have another chicken option on the hot meze menu. Really lovely staff.
I booked a table for 8 people at 8pm last Saturday. My sister has had issues booking a table with you before (turned up and told "there's a problem with our booking system so we don't have your reservation") so she suggested I call beforehand to double check you had the booking. I rang on Wed eve to confirm and was asked in a bewildered tone "Why are you ringing? I gave you a email confirmation". Unfortunately, when I arrived for my booking it became clear why I had had to ring. We arrived a couple of minutes before 8pm when we were told by the waitress that they didn't have a table and we'd have to wait an hour or more, and come back. A multitude of excuses were given, starting from "We don't have your booking" (we could clearly see our reservation written in their booking book and not crossed out) and "Perhaps someone else said your name and took your table" (see previous point). Absolute shambles, which meant a group of 8 of us then had to find somewhere else to eat on a Sat night. And I want to add that I don't think we would have been so annoyed if 1) this wasn't the second time it's happened 2) they hadn't almost laughed at the notion of me confirming the booking on Wednesday. I'd suggest you operate a walk-in policy as you obviously don't honour bookings.
Never disappointed when going to Meza
The people were very friendly, small place but very pleasant, food was very nice.
Really great food
Great food, friendly, warm efficient service. Excellent value just adds to the appeal. Overall 5*
