About Meejana Windsor
Welcome to the newest addition to our Lebanese family of restaurants - Meejana Windsor.
Our philosophy for our food is simple: use the best ingredients and prepare each dish fresh to order with an unparalleled attention to detail. Our menu includes many seafood dishes from the coast, alongside dishes from the interior (often lamb or chicken). Our mezze is extensive and includes delicacies such as sweetbreads and frogs legs. Our main courses include family recipes from the owner’s Lebanese family which are unique to us. We also offer a wide selection of grills and other traditional dishes so there is something for everybody.
Our desserts are home-made and include Lebanese classics such as Baklava and Maamoul as well as a small selection of crêpes, Om Ali, Halva and artisan ice creams and sorbets.
Couple this with an extensive wine list, including many wines from Lebanon, Syria and the New and Old World and you have a Lebanese restaurant unlike the others, gaining international recognition with the LUX Tourism Award in 2018 for "Best Middle Eastern Dining Experience in Surrey" and "Best Lebanese Restaurant in London."
Great food and wine, delightful service - really enjoyable evening - thank you.
Perfect. In every respect.
Would certainly come back again
Blown away by this hidden gem! Definitely my new favourite restaurant in Windsor. Gorgeous food and great wine. Fantastic service and value for money. We had the vegetarian set menu for 4 and we had so much food it was just brilliant. Thanks for a wonderful night.
Fantastic food , but restaurant was cold and we had to move but still very cold. Lights very bright too one couple walked in and out again as ambience was not great. Would go back if they changed this !
Great to be able to sit outside. Welcome and service was very good and friendly. Food very fresh and delicious. I would have liked bigger flat breads but everything else was just right not too little but not too much, as I hate wastage. Very nice evening.
We had a lovely meal and excellent friendly service. We chose a set meal for 4 and it was just right. The only downside was the cold draft from the door that didn't close easily and was mostly left open when customers left. It is quite cramped inside so we didn't really have a choice of where to sit other than by the door.
Delicious food & great service.
Lovely food. Great service
Lovely food & atmosphere.
The food is great everytime but the service is not quick enough for me lately
Poor service! The guy had a major attitude, he just couldn’t wait for us to leave. Every drink that was order had to be brought in from another restaurant or was simply forgotten. We had to remind the guy several times to bring our drinks as he kept “forgetting” WE WERE THE ONLY TABLE AT THE RESTAURANT. The food; not everything needs to be covered in garlic and onions! The grilled halloumi and the chefs salad were nice. The lamb and chicken shawarma were just dry chunks of meat, both didn’t resemble a proper, fresh shawarma as done at the Middle East. The tomato rice was disgusting and so was the Fattoush salad. The spicy hummus we sent back and had them remake it as was mixed with chunks of red onions. The female restroom door doesn’t have a lock, the toilet seat doesn’t fit the toilet. Empty toilet rolls on the floor. Whoever the owner is of this place they clearly don’t care about the food quality nor service or the ambiance of the place. The food at a local shawarma pick up place is much fresher, tastier and is not 115£ !
What absolute nonsense! Drinks were served promptly and you only ordered mineral water during the meal and a glass of milk at the end. Our Hummus Beiruty is made with onions, it turned out that you "don't do onions" as you said (and I quote) when you saw it so we re-made it without specially for you. Lebanese food uses garlic as a staple ingredient (it's also a base in the Fattoush), but you then said you wanted to avoid garlic too. So, it's not that we cover everything it garlic and onions, they are there but you don't eat them. If you want us to customise the whole menu because of your preferences, then it takes longer and dishes may not be as balanced as they should be; we had to leave the dressings off the salads, take out the onions in everything, etc, etc, etc. And after we serve the food you add further requirements which you failed to mention ahead of time. Our food is cooked fresh to order, so there is NO WAY the shawarma was dry chunks of meat. Our chef and owner are Lebanese too. Guests don't have the right to be rude to the team and just expect us to roll over and take it, so it's not surprising we're happy to see some guests leave.
Lovely food in a lovely setting
Food was good, service was very slow.
I love the food at this restaurant it is so fresh and the service is amazing thank you
Great food, service and made a fuss of the children. Would return when back in the area
A lovely dining experience in very tasteful surroundings. The food was very tasty and good quality. Very hospitable and friendly staff. Even the chef came out to pass the time of day with us. Thank you. We will return.
lovely selection of starters and mezze. We were the only 6 in the restaurant so not that much atmosphere. Not the cheapest of places but reasonable value for money.
Service shambles, food cold, main dish pricing high compared to the 4 pieces of meat you actually get. All in all service is not the best received considering an empty restaurant. Food not bad but but certain items were cold.
wonderful service and wonderful food, would definitely come here again!
Excellent service, food and standard of venue is second to none. Would strongly recommend and will return. My only criticism and this is probably very petty but I found the lighting in the restaurant too bright. Maybe dim it slightly.
Delicious food, well-served in friendly style. Will definitely return. Thank you.
