About Meejana Weybridge
Welcome to your Lebanese home-from-home. Recently refurbished and extended, Meejana “Maison” builds on our ten-year history delivering exceptional Lebanese food with a new bar area, comfy sofas and a baby grand piano (played on Saturday evenings by our resident pianist Pasqual). You are welcome to drop in and relax, sip a coffee, enjoy a cocktail or sample our great food. We are now more than just a restaurant, we are a place to wine, dine and unwind.
Our philosophy for our food is simple: use the best ingredients and prepare each dish fresh to order with unparalleled attention to detail. Our menu includes many seafood dishes from the coast, alongside dishes from the interior (often lamb or chicken). Our mezze is extensive and includes delicacies such as sweetbreads and frogs legs. Our main courses include family recipes from the owner’s Lebanese family which are unique to us. We also offer a wide selection of grills and other traditional dishes so there is something for everybody.
Our desserts are home-made and include Lebanese classics such as Baklava and Maamoul as well as a small selection of crêpes, Om Ali, Halva and artisan ice creams and sorbets.
Couple this with an extensive wine list, including many wines from Lebanon, Syria and the New and Old World and you have a Lebanese restaurant unlike the others, gaining international recognition with the LUX Tourism Award for Best Middle Eastern Dining Experience in Surrey in 2018.
Delicious food, extensive choice and brilliant service..
Fantastic food and quick service. Introduced us to new foods and flavours. Will definitely return In The future.
Lovely food, lovely atmosphere and great overall experience
The food was good but service slow. Avant garde attitude to Coronavirus guidelines
We were ignored for half an hour, when we finally caught the attention of the waitress she rudely told us to wait a minute. We walked out.
Wonderful evening fabulous food
The food was delicious. So flavourful and nice portion size - not too big or small. The host was incredibly welcome and the service was efficient
The pianist (Saturday evenings only) was an enjoyable touch and enhanced the atmosphere. The set menu selections were all different, delicious and interesting. The service was quick, efficient and they managed the 10 pm curfew professionally. House wine at £25.00 was a little pricey but would definitely visit again soon.
I have lived in Weybridge for nearly 20 years and this is by far the best restaurant here ..been a customer for many years and the food and service is consistently good even the chef comes out with the food and the owner is just so lovely ..great selection of wines and delicious food....amazing menu ..Meejana never fails and of course we will be back soon the takeaway service is also wonderful!!
What an atmosphere, you always feel like the most important customer in the restaurant, great food and service Am going to make this a regular When you receive great service taking the time out to give praise is the least I can do 5 ⭐️
Amazing food and lovely service, a must if you are in the area. I would recommend and definitely go again, hopefully soon.
A wonderful evening in a relaxed atmosphere.
First-timers at Meejana and it was absolutely lovely! The food was delicious - particularly recommend the frog's legs for a hot mezze and the Crepe Suzette for the dessert! - and it was adventurous for us, as we tend to stick to stuff we know, so it was a really good place to expand our range. Definitely recommend!
There is little atmosphere in teh restaurant an dthis was hampered more by there having been a light fused. It was difficult to see the menu and although there were candles on other tables we had to ask for tehm to be put n our table. The food was good but I thought expensive and a glass of wine cost over £10!! I know the industry is trying to get back on its feet but I felt being over charged would deter me from going back.
Our favourite restaurant in weybridge. Consistently great food, great service. Edwin is a star at front of house as is his lovely partner who controls the kitchen impeccably
Good experience, slow service due to EOTHO but still excellent food and ambience.
Lovely food and drink - we ordered too much so were pleased to take home the delicious baklava and Turkish delight. Will pop by again if in the area.
The food was amazing and all the family enjoyed their dishes. We started with 10 meze for 4 so that we could experience as many differing flavours as possible. It was amazing and such a great selection. We then followed with our mains: 1 shawarma, 2 vegetarian and two wraps. All of them cooked to perfection and just so tasty. The staff made us feel very welcome and it was a great lunch experience for us all, especially since we had not been out to restaurants much in recent weeks. With one of our party being gluten-intolerant and anoher being vegetarian, there were plenty of choices to please us all. I would certainly recommend Meejana in Weybridge if you're looking to try something a little different yet tasty.
Defo coming back as we want to order more from the menu
Let's start on a positive ,the food is very good .... We entered the restaurant and eventually we were approached by the manager, no greeting ,no welcome , no smile. Social distancing between tables and staff was non existent. The staff were very busy but our food arrived fairly promptly , but our wine arrived a lot slower. After our meal we were given the wrong bill but eventually corrected, apparently our food order was not on the system. When we left, we were not acknowledged or thanked. This was also our experience on our last visit.
Unfortunately we were made to feel like a massive inconvenience! It was my 40th birthday celebrations with friends. The servers were quite rude to my friends. To the point where my friend walked out and we did not bother with deserts or anymore drinks at the restaurant. The food however is amazing, such a shame, thought I’d found somewhere I could come back to time and time again, but unfortunately this is the second time I have been here and second time the Husband and wife servers have been quite rude. Really need to work On welcoming your customers with a smile and act like nothing’s too much trouble! Your arabic server guy was however lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. Shame I wanted to come back next week, but am rethinking this now. I want the food but not bad customer service.
The first rule for a restaurant is to get patrons to a table with a drink. Then they are yours!! We waited at the door for about 5 minutes. I then asked the person in front if she had been waiting long? Too long she replied "They don't acknowledge you" 3 or 4 minutes later a waitress barked at her " this way for your table". I need a table for three she said. Yes! Yes! Come! Come. A few minutes later she returned to me and without any preamble she said "This way to your table" Again she didn't know who I was or what my requirement was ! We left as I felt that if that was the quality of the greeting I dreaded to think what the rest of the service would be like. We will not be back! The rating regard Food & Drink and Value are not relevant but I had to score them.
The decor is relaxing and smart. The food is always cooked to perfection and an extensive menu. Have booked a table here many times over the years and never disappointed.
