About MEATliquor QW
MEATliquor started as a burger van (the MEATwagon) in a Peckham industrial estate carpark back in 2010. After its theft came #meateasy, a 3 month pop-up restaurant above an abandoned pub in New Cross, which opened in January 2011. The first permanent MEATliquor site (MEATliquor W1) opened 11/11/11 and the rest was history...
We’re located in Queens skate• dine• bowl, a two minute walk from Queensway station and five minutes from Bayswater station. We’ve got ten pin bowling (with lane service), ice skating, darts, table football, pool, vintage arcade games, diner and a full bar… a one-stop-fun-shop. Our £10 lunch deal is available weekdays until 5pm. Celebrating something big? Parties are our business. Hit us up for group bookings, whatever the size. We’re also very dog friendly.
Close to Hyde Park, Serpentine gallery, Royal Albert Hall and Portobello Market.
Eat in, takeaway or delivery via Deliveroo.
I got food poisoning from the restaurant...on my birthday.
Burgers were very dry. The food was a little slow to come out but the people working there were very friendly. thought the bar stopped serving too early and could have stayed open later. Also the arcades - we had no cash and there were no options to get cash back etc which seemed a bit odd - you could have made quite a bit f money on the arcades..
we were looked after very well by the management and staff both while we were there on the night and beforehand via email. Thanks to all involved! Seitan fingers were a bit soggy, and siracha fries would have preferred siracha sauce rather than seasoning otherwise would have been 5 star for food too. Dead Hippie burger rocked as usual probably best burger in London
Unfortunately, I chose the vegetarian burger with halloumi and was very ill afterwards. Perhaps this option is not often chosen & the ingredients were old. Disappointing, as this was my daughter`s birthday & the meal cost £75.57.
The evening as a whole was great, really nice place, but the food and cocktails let them down (massively).
30 minutes wait for a bottle of wine. That says it all. Appalling service. Overrated but the meat is good.
MEATliquor is a fantastic place to visit. 10/10 for food & atmosphere. The staff were friendly and service was impeccable. I’ll be recommending MEATliquor to everyone!
Everything was great. The burgers were delicious. In spite of being a big group of 10 kids, the service was perfect. Our waiter was very professional, efficient and understanding. I would have liked to have more interesting salad options, maybe just one or two.
Lovely place, amazing food and cocktails! But the staff seem like they don’t want to be there and walk around as if they haven’t slept in 3 days
The lady who took care of us was so incredibly helpful, efficient and made our day with the candle etc! Thanks very much for being a legend!
Were given 2 complimentary cocktail vouchers when paying for the bill, a few minutes before 10pm. When we went to use them at the bar we were told they are not valid after 10pm. Terrible service.
Ive been to 2 different MEATLiquors now (Angel & Queensway) and whilst I prefer the atmosphere of Angel Queensway didnt disappoint.
We visited MEATLiquor as part of Queens Skate and Bowl last week for our company summer party and were shocked by the service we received. The waiters and waitresses (in particular) were very rude and everything felt like an inconvenience. I have visited a number of MEATLiquor restaurants previously and have never received bad service so booked this venue thinking it would be good. We were asked to submit our menu choices in advance (there was 12 of us) and state who was gluten free and vegetarian which we did, and all of the food ended up coming out on the same trays and the waiters couldn't tell us what was what meaning that they had to bring out the food seperately again. I would not recommend this place for food or drink (the bar staff were incredibly rude as well).
The food was disgusting. Our chicken burgers were burnt. The food was below standard
Restaurant was almost empty diring our meal yet servers were absent. Clustered around their station chatting. Slow to come over with menus, slow to take order, had to find them to ask for more drinks etc. Lastly, the place has roaches, lots of them. In the restaurant, on the wall, floor all over the place. Wont be coming back.
Amazing food! Better wings than I managed to get in America ! Truly amazing food and the blue cheese dip is something special !
Had the most fantastic time. Our servers were incredibly attentive, and made sure that our time was as fun and relaxing as possible! Would recommend to anyone and everyone, whether you were an easy going stag do - like us - or a family or just looking for a good time.
Meat liquor is SOOOO good. The food is fresh and tastes amazing. Especially the dirty chicken burger that I tried and the mac and cheese. Wish I could have finished it! Really good for birthdays or big gatherings and food basically came all together within spaces of 3 minutes. The guy with greenish hair was really good with helping our table whenever we needed something done straight away like clearing up the table to make room for the cake. And the tall guy helped with bringing the cake which was lovely
good food, expensive drink, visited at a quiet time so atmosphere was subdued
Thoroughly enjoyed our evening here
A wider dessert range would be nice
We loved the burgers and fries but think the service is too slow and unresponsive. We had to ask for the kid’s drinks after everything else had been delivered and the food took about 20 mins too long to arrive. We asked twice for the music to be turned down - it was 12pm on a quiet Saturday lunchtime and the only people there were a few families so the bangin’ Friday night vibe was a little incongruous. Cocktails were excellent and burgers were great though.
Hello, A group of 6 celebrating a 16th birthday party. Overall we were happy with our visit. A couple of notes to point out - we were not happy that the doorman turned us away at 7 when we had a reservation due to the fact the birthday girl was 16 and she might be there longer than 8pm. On the website it says under 18's must leave at 8 - the doorman said 6. Thankfully i spoke to the manager and he allowed us to continue with our meal. The doorman was pretty rude so it didn't start our meal off well. Secondly we didn't like the south African wings at all! Thirdly when we finished our food the waiters were not on the ball to clear our plates so when we cut the birthday cake we still had our dirty plates in front of us and had to eat the cake off of napkins due to not getting fresh plates. One waiter realized but by this time it was too late. Thank you
Extremely tasty burger fare. It’s unabashedly indulgent (fried mac and cheese) and a great compliment to an ice skating or bowling session. This location is considerably more family friendly than the one close to Oxford Street.
