About MEATliquor KX
We’re located on St. Chad’s place, a short walk from King’s Cross & St. Pancras International stations. Set in an old tram shed, we have a full bar as well as restaurant, ideal for lunch meetings, general get-togethers or celebrations. Celebrating something big? Parties are our business. Hit us up for group bookings, whatever the size. We’re also very dog friendly.
Close to Scala, National & International train services……
Stephen was an absolute dream! He put up with 52 of us, was friendly and incredibly helpful! Give that man a raise!
Awesome, as always!
Waiting staff were not very forthcoming, no cutlery on table - had to ask twice for knives, waited 15 mins to order drinks.
Great food, great service, great atmosphere
Amazing food! Incredible burgers! Fantastic drinks! And the monkey fingers topped it all off! Definitely up there with one of the best meals I’ve ever had!
I'm a stickler for service so I'd love a few things to be worked on but overall it was a good experience.
Very slow service, been ignored and forgot orders here and there
Great atmosphere, friendly staff and great food. Monkey fingers are a must on every visit.
Fantastic service, good food, ideal for a group - thank you
Fantastic as always! Loved the new XXXmas menu too
Food was excellent as was the vibe. Staff attentiveness and speed of service was definitely lacking though
When it comes to burgers, Meat Liquor is my go-to place. Food quality was spot on however I get the impression they could do with some more staff on duty. Often found it difficult to get someones attention, purely because they were all busy assisting other customers.
great lunch. Burgers very good.
Staff were very friendly
The lighting was a little too dark and we had to shout to get the waiters attention as the music was so loud. Once seated the waiter did not come back to us for near enough 10mins in which we had to call to place our order. The restaurant was not that busy to have to do that. Food was delicious and really filling. The drinks were full of ice and so we felt there was not that much drink to have drunk.
Sides better than the burgers!
Lovely food and drink! Would definitely recommend.
great place with great vibes and even greater staff! thanks for making our visit an enjoyable one. will be back for more :)
We were a party of 11 people and felt the staff gave great service. The food was also great and would definitely come back. Would recommend to others.
a hidden gem in Kings Cross. get the dead hippie fries and a refillable drink for £10 on weekday lunchtimes.
Went here on a Saturday night with some long-lost-friends. we got a booth which was perfect to chat in, and the cocktails and beers were a treat
Was ok. Wouldn't be a huge deal if I never went back there. Had a hippie burger, fries and 2 drinks... came to around £25 in total, which is quite pricey for a burger joint.
Great tasting juicy burgers, enormous crunchy onion rings, excellent thin fries. Macaroni cheese croquet things a dirty pleasure. Incredible grown up Black Forest milkshake shake with coffee liqueur, cherry liqueur, vanilla and chocolate ice cream.
I will keep coming back because your burgers and mac and cheese are so damn good but not to the kings cross branch because as dining experiences go, it’s pretty poor. We arrived for our booking, granted a little early, so we were expecting to wait at the bar - fine. Should have known the service would be poor from the get go. Got to the bar and asked the bar woman what beers there were and she simply pointed to something out of our sight and seemed visibly annoyed when I asked for clarification on the draught beers like it was something I should just know. Beer secured, the time of our booking came and went, with people who came in after us being sat before we were despite them being walkins. As a waitress myself I am aware that you want to maximise the turn around of tables however a booking is a booking and you should honour this appropriately. When we were finally sat, we were sat at a dirty table with no cutlery or condiments etc - it’s takes two seconds to wipe and relay a table. Ordering took ages as the waiters seemed to ignore the section we were in, when the food finally arrived we were not asked if we need anything else and had to go ask someone for condiments. No check back was done. We sat with our finished plate for about 20minsbefore we got up and went to ask for the bill so we could leave, thoroughly poor service which is a shame when the food is so good. Better and slightly more attentive would have dramatically improved the experience. Not asking for someone to wait on us hand and foot but a little bit of positive interaction might help...
Best burger place I have ever been to!
