Excellent food, nice surroundings.
My wife and had dinner at Me and Mrs Jones on Saturday evening. Overall it was an enjoyable experience and we will definitely go again.
Food exceptional service terrible and not busy received extra portions 10 minutes after main meals arrived and took 20 minutes for baileys and Irish coffees to arrive and cold when delivered maybe need to teach staff how to make them
Really enjoyed my stay. Hotel is beautifully decorated and spotless.
entertainment was awful who told that guy he could sing and went on for hours
We had a lovely dining experience last weekend; the new menu has lovely choices and the quality of the food is very good. Presentation was excellent and desserts were very impressive. This restaurant is a very pleasant place to spend an evening, the seating is plush and the décor amazing. Warm and friendly.
Location , bed and shower were all good . Staff were mainly great . Food was appalling , uncooked bacon ,dried scrambled egg , black bread , burnt pancakes .
Our meal was possibly the best we've ever had, served by very efficient and friendly staff in a cosy, welcoming atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble: we will definately be back!!
Delicious food, great atmosphere, very attentive & friendly staff. Our favourite place to dine on the North Coast.
2 of our starters came with an element missing. This was rectified but not very quickly.
Food amazing salt and chilli chicken fab as was sticky toffee budding. Atmosphere in bar great and cocktails amazing. Seamus og and saoirse made our experience great and couldn't do enough. Highly recommend
Extremely friendly staff, good selection, very tasty, on one negative, still seems quite warm, a little air conditioning would address.
We had a great night. All food and drinks were thoroughly enjoyed. No complaints from our party of 11. Service was great and staff very friendly and pleasant and joined in to the light banter of our celebration. Thanks very much Me and Mrs Jones... for some of our party this was a first but won’t be last!
Friendly staff and the food very good. Would recommend
Everything was fabulous, thank you.
Had to come back after our last fab meal. New staff from last time, all very smiley and friendly which was lovely to see. I had to have the curry and salt and chili chips again which didn't disappoint. Our daughter had the salmon again and was left wanting more potato.... again, she wants them as a side order lol. Our son opted for the salt and chilli chicken with skinny fries and again the plate was empty big plus for him. Hubby had the pork belly and said it would have beat the duck if it just had a little more of the amazing sauce. Deserts were Eton mess creme brulee and chocolate brownie, I didn't order as i thought I'd get a bit of everything, the lovely waitress even brought an extra spoon but I literally got a sooonful of each to taste and that was it but after my brief sample I can understand why. Amazing food again and loving the new staff. Ps thanks to the bar staff who (unknowingly) taught us how to properly cork a bottle of wine. Until next time when I hope to finally get the cocktails xx
First time visiting and it was absolutely superb.
A lovely place to dine. Lovely food and good service. My only gripe is a common one in the area that the kitchens close at 9pm so late dining is not really possible.
First visit, thank you for a wonderful evening, In stunning surroundings and very attentive staff. The food was off a very high standard and very enjoyable. Thank you everyone. See you all again soon.
Awesome place - hosted or team for The Open 2019 and Gemma/staff were great. This place comes highly recommended.
Excellent food and service
Food was amazing and service was great
An enjoyable place with unique decor. Food was good portion size and flavourful
Went for dinner last night and what an amazing meal it was. I had the curry which was full of flavour and spice just how I like it, I had it with salt and chilli chips (not your normal ones though, these had a lovely twist). Hubby had the duck which was cooked to perfection and the nicest he has had anywhere. Our daughter had the salmon which she made incredibly short work of and wants a special take out to be made available for the potatoes that came with it😉. Our son had the kids goujons and chips and there wasn't a crumb left on his plate which a big plus for us as he is a very fussy eater. Then the deserts, the kids opted for the creme brulee which I actually got to steal a sample of, it was yummy, very creamy and they were lucky to get it back. Hubby had the baked cheesecake which again had a lovely twist and was very light and tasty. All around it was a beautiful meal and if you haven't tried it yet you really should. We will be back very soon (minus the kids so I can sample the cocktails 😉). Only negative I have is the female waitress although polite and efficient could be a little more friendly. Thanks everyone, keep up the great work xx
The food was average, but the service was quality. I’m still baffled with the ridiculous decor: velvets in every colour from grey to purple to black and gold with fake flowers and Egyptian statues. What?!
