Absolutely loved the meal (had the smoked eel and it was so good, it nearly made me cry with joy), great service and fab atmosphere, I just thought the drinks were a wee bit pricey but everything else was great. Will be back.
Much improved since last visit.
Enjoyed all the meals there, loved the salt and chilli dishes. service friendly. Small issues only, wine arriving at table already opened and oddly wet wine glasses. The duck breast was overcooked on our last meal there. But these issues wouldn't stop me returning! Good to see Amici has some decent competition!
I had dinner and drinks here on Friday night with 4 friends and we had a lovely evening. The staff were first class; they couldn’t do enough for us, very polite and friendly and went the extra mile in checking alternative starter options for vegetarians and also treating us to some complimentary tray bakes at the end. The food overall, was very good. The venue is smart and very comfortable for dinner. The only downside was the live music in the restaurant. It was too loud and a bit edgy for the clientele. It seemed misplaced but this became a minor disappointment, considering everything else was so good.
