About The Meadowpark
Here at The Meadowpark you'll find a unique atmosphere, with charm and character exuding from every nook and cranny of our lovely old listed building. Soak it all up over a plate of fresh, home-cooked food and a glass of what you fancy from our well-stocked bar.
It doesn't get much cosier than this. Pull up a pew near our roaring log-fire, dine with a difference in our eclectically furnished restaurant or, in the warmer months, kick back in our smart beer garden and enjoy a spot of alfresco dining.
This is the second time I have been in the last couple of months. Both times I visited there has been quite a few things unavailable from the menu. Not great when it is quite a small menu to start with.
Very nice for a night out
Have been many times before, this time brought a friend who had never been before. She loved it and will be passing her findings on to others. I will be back on 13th with lunch ladies
We had a lovely lunch staff and food very good
I requested a table suitable for Ladies who Lunch and we got a very nice table. the food was very good but personally I would like to see some specials on the menu. Back in the day there was a scallops dish of the day and also a pie of the day.(Scallops and steak pie featured on the menu but no specials.) As The Meadowpark is my "local" This would entice me to come more often
Excellent Service and fantastic quality food!
Great food, Great service and even better value for money (my boss paid the bill), LOL. honestly the prices are good and I can't think of a better place in Stirling on a sunny day to sit outside and enjoy the views on offer. will definitely be back soon.
Service was nice enough and pleasant, food took a long time to come. The meat on the roast was very tough and slightly unpleasant. The vegetarian lasagne had peas and sweet corn in it which was also unpleasant. We asked for 3 sides of shoe string fries however were not told until regular fries were brought to the table that you didn’t have shoe string fries. A small black hair was found in the sticky toffee brownie which wasn’t from the girl who was eating it.
We were sitting inside and it felt as if all energies of the staff were focused on those sitting outside. It took 50 minutes between us arriving and our food order being taken. I also had to ask twice for my drink. When the food came it was good food - the chips were amazing.
Service was extremely slow to non existent food was less than average on this visit, soup was warm chicken very dry and portions on the small side
This is the 3rd time i have dined here and yet again have been underwhelmed by the service. Booked a table for 6 people, which turned into 5, at 5.45 as we had to be at the Macrobert by 7.20. Our party arrived seperately but we were all there for 6.05. At 6.20 we had to go find a member of staff to come take our drink and food order and informed them of our time constraint. Concious of time 1 of the party ordered a starter and asked for it to arrive with all of the mains. The starter arrived on its own and we didnt get our mains until 6.55. We had no issues with the food. Everyone enjoyed their meal. But as soon as we finished we had to be up and out. We were aware of 2 tables of 4 sitting behind us and i can only assume because they were older they were deserving of a better more timeley service? Both were sat after the last of our party arrived. All food and drinks arrived before ours and one party had eaten and left before we had finished our meal. Also throughout our time the music changed volume level on several occasions and the lights were dimmed several times.
Have been to the Meadow for a good few years I remember when it was a biker pub. Lovely food great service and setting in the conservatory will definitely be back
Service very poor. Had to wait far too long for starter and main course to come and also drinks when the place was not even busy. Then told that we had to vacate the table by a certian time because table was booked for another party. Sorry but that is just not on. Shame as we like the setting and food is nice. I would not risk recommending this place to anyone now.
The table was perfect and as I requested, in a quiet corner. The menu was varied and the food delicious. We were not rushed to order . A very good experience and I have already booked to come back with a small group of friends. It is very conveniently situated about 5 minutes walk to my house.
Great service and perfectly lovely staff. We had a great night for our school reunion. Thanks so much!
Only having gammon or a sharing roast beef dish is not good for a Sunday lunch menu. Should be looking at a chicken and a beef dinner where you don’t have to share. I don’t eat beef so my wife was very disappointed as she was really looking forward to Sunday dinner. Thanks, Neil
Great Sunday lunch
Gorgeous décor and interesting menu with something for everyone. Lovely sitting in the conservatory looking out over the Castle. Delicious food. Will come back!
Once again an outstanding effort from all the Meadowpark at the weekend for arranging our son's birthday celebration, especially Leanne and Siobhan for all the arrangements and making sure the day went well, which it undoubtedly did. Thanks as always guys and see you soon
Lovely meal in a lovely setting. The staff could not have been more welcoming or helpful. Will certainly be back.
Sorry to say it will be a long time before we return. The food was not great and unfortunately for other customers and ourselves the outside space was out of bounds due to a private function. Not a great experience.
First visit since new owners, was really pleased food good portion size well presented was amazing, staff polite&friendly.
Great service, both over the phone when reserving (Katie-Marie) and also on the night at the table (a new lady who recently started and Helen) Food was delicious, and a friend who had planned to come along and is a vegan was given the option of her own specially prepared dish to accommodate her dietary requirements. Very much appreciated. Lovely friendly atmosphere and sitting in the conservatory, we had a beautiful view over the fields/hills.
