We had a lovely meal, food was delicious. The young girl who served us was very attentive. Would definitely recommend.
Have been lots of time before, n this time was terrible. Salt n chilli chicken was nothing like it was, very bland had to ask for the sauce that comes with it, n to make things worse it was almost thrown down. Main was ok but vegetables we inateable as I couldnt cut threw them. Also had to wait an hour before we recieved any food. Then we had to wait almost 30 min between courses. My husband had to wait 20 min on a pint. Everything I seemed to ask for wasn't available, like the pink gin wkd cocktail, also no desserts but lemon cake left buy time we actually got round to it. Terrible experience and very smokey and stuffy upstairs as no windows were opened and very few hand sanitizer to be seen.
Food and drinks were great Staff were very friendly And helpful
My daughter booked a table for 5 at Mcaneneys 7.30pm over a week ago for last night wed 16th Dec for my birthday treat and it was a disaster from the moment we arrived. On arrival at 7.25pm we were informed it would be 15 to 20 mins before a table would be available and we were to wait downstairs in the bar. We sat beside to double doors up to the restaurant and after 2 drinks and 40 mins wait we were eventually taken upstairs, seated at a circular table, at the corner of the building facing the bar opposite the graveyard. Our order was taken quite quickly and we sat waiting to enjoy our food. We listened to a few people complaining about service and food, 2 tables even left without getting served but, I insisted its one of those days not to worry to my family. At 9.20pm I went to complain about still not eceiving our first course. Almost 2 hours after arrival the waitress informed us that of the 3 starters we ordered 2 were now not available, mushrooms and prawn cocktail. We all then had no other choice but to opt for spicy wings and sweet chili chicken which was overcooked dry bordering on burnt, and they arrived in batches, not together. We then waited until 22.15 after complaining again about the delay for our main meal, 2 portions of chips and garlic potatoes and sauce had to be changed as they were cold and undercooked. My granddaughter ordered a desert at 22.40 as we rushed our food into us as we were starving. It arrived quite quickly but microwaved beyond recognition and at 10.50pm the manager / supervisor came to inform us that we had to leave as the premises was to be empty at 11pm. This was the first time she approached us, despite our many complaints, sending the really pleasant and apologetic waitress everytime. I've been a regular at Macs for over 35 years and I have to say this was one of the worst services I have ever endured, and it was an endurance. Im sure you can check your CCTV to confirm our arrival times, and food service times. 1 weeks notice we gave for our booking and no excuses for staff shortages or running out of food can excuse the really bad service and experience we received at Macs last night. Totally ruined the occasion and in fact we spent over £150 including drinks on a really bad night. Absolutely not impressed with this experience.
O my god I got a chicken stack and it was great
Great food and service. Will definitely be back
Friendly staff. Great service. Nice food.
Great food and drink, lovely staff.
The waiting staff were really nice but it took a long time for our food to arrive
Realy enjoyed our meal it was 1st class Staff were attentive and realy friendly Lovely atmosphere Definetly be back
Very few people wearing masks while walking around including staff. People ordering at the bar without masks etc. Observed tables and chairs not being cleaned properly or at all. Sirloin steak was very small for the price but the food was very nice. Wont be rushing back.
Great service, food and drinks will definitely be back.
Had a brilliant meal would go back
Food was lovely, we dined with two adults and two kids, kids finished their meals and we still had not received our food, staff seen us looking at each other and apologised and went to see where food was, we waited bout 40 minutes on our food although it was very nice

The was our first visit here and would definitely return. Chicken wings were delicious & plenty of them. Turkey & ham was great too! All of the staff were friendly & helpful. Social distancing was in place so would recommend
Thought the bar was really well organised considering current restrictions, our waitress in restaurant was really friendly and very attentive, she even checked for seats downstairs after we had finished are meals and helped us down with drinks, the staff downstairs doing table service were very pleasent and service was quick.
