About Marine Brasserie
At the Marine Brasserie with the stunning Sun Terrace, we offer an array of delectable, fine dining set in beautiful, tranquil surroundings with an unbeatable view across the Marine Lake.
A stylish restaurant situated on the fabulous Waterfront, Marine Brasserie is fine dining at its best. Hailed by the Liverpool Echo for having first class food, our restaurant is second to none.
Come and have a taste of our diverse and tantalising menu, anything from hearty favourites to beautiful afternoon tea. It is the perfect place for any meal.
Enjoy dinner & a show with our new fabulous offers for pre theatre dinner.
Brilliant food and service, a little mix up with the bill, but it was sorted out.
Quality of Food and Service is always excellent. This is why we return.
Firstly we both had the soup which wasn’t hot ,and served with no butter for the bread, we both had steak and ale pie , which i found 2 tiny pieces of steak , we then had a pudding I have the pancetta which consisted of a slither of a tastless desert served with a sprinkle of coconut granola over the top , we was both very disappointed, the waitress was lovely and professional shame about the food , the only reason we paid was we was on taste card as it certainly was not worth price on the menu.
Very nice Sunday lunch with excellent service.
The whole experience was the worst we have ever encountered. To start with we were told they were not sure what our booking was for, but guessed at afternoon tea as we asked for gluten free bread This was a fault with their online booking programme. We then waited for an hour for the afternoon tea being told the chef was very particular about the presentation. Quiet frankly in this time I could have made the bread and cakes. When this masterpiece arrived it. looked like a five year old could have done better. The cake was pieces of slab cake with hundreds and thousands sprinkled on top in 3 different flavours, no finise or cooking involved as it probably came from Morrisons. The sandwiches were basic packet beef and ham no dressings, egg mayonnaise and the thinest sliver of smoked salmon ever seen, not even a slice of tomato for garnish and the bread we requested as gluten free was not as our daughter was quite ill after eating this dibacle. But the pierce de resistance was definitely the teabag tea with no knowledge of what Darjellling was and ALL this for £15.00 per head. Please, no one make the fatal mistake we made and set foot in this place oh and by the way it is rebranding to Bliss Hotel-not very appropriate
Excellent as always!!
Another superb meal served by helpful staff. Delicious. We must be satisfied as we keep returning.
A delicious and happy experience tasty food and well presented Staff very professional Would definitely recommend
Great venue in pleasant location by the marine lake. Convenient parking under the Ramada hotel itself. Afternoon Tea excellent with selection of vrry fresh sandwiches and cakes. Service very good, up to the point some of the tea/coffee was forgetten after we delayed them. Would definitely come back again.
Had a lovely afternoon tea tea for 6 family members,, staff very attentive well done to all. Only one little point I like my tea served in a china teapot and cup, other than that excellent and we shall be returning
The cakes for the gluten free were a disappointment.. really only two cakes versus the non gluten options. So not value for money
Everything about Marine Brasserie is excellent. We just had a meal for my husband's 80th birthday and I have a big one coming up next year. Wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. The food is absolutely excellent, as are the staff. The bar area always feels busy and comfortable, not like in some hotels where there is nobody buying a drink or chatting. Highly recommend it for all ages.
Friendly staff on the telephone & waiting on in the restaurant. Had the Classic afternoon tea which was average, wouldn't have it again. The Gentleman's afternoon tea was better. Waited 35 minutes from ordering to receiving any food which seems odd as we had prebooked and there was no other diners in the restaurant at the time. Large screen tv with football match being shown - wasn't what we expected either??
We booked on the day for afternoon tea. Seated and serves quickly as we didn’t need to order. Excellent afternoon tea and great value for money. No problem with asking for extra tea and coffee. We were still seated as dinner service began and we were in no way rushed to vacate the table.
Very attentive service. Nothing too much trouble. Friendly staff. Food was delicious. Would highly recommend.
Martin & Rafaela were particularly helpful as were all the staff, very accommodating of our menu changes on a busy day, excellent food & service.
Took advantage of the steak night offer which was delicious and the very polite waiter offered his recommendation for the wine which was perfect, was a little quiet to begin with but quite enjoyed the space and it soon got busier, very comfortable surroundings and lovely staff.
Great afternoon tea!!
first time staying here. everything was fabulous room and food and the staff, will be back
Didnt like any of the main courses on the set menu.Asked if could have a starter for my main not a problem and was given a really generous portion.Followed by the best chocolate brownie ever.Great value for money on the Sunday deal.
Booked online for Afternoon Tea. Prices and options listed online for Afternoon Tea were not reflected in the restaurant but the afternoon tea that we did have was delicious!!
Staff need training on how to wait tables.
