Christmas afternoon tea was fab. The mulled wine was great, everything on the cake stand was delicious and the staff were lovely too.
It was pleasant but ordinary and was expecting something a little more special sorry Mulled wine was good
Beautiful restaurant, service was excellent and food was cooked to perfection!
I took my wife here for a birthday treat, we waited ages to be seated, even though the restaurant was virtually empty. When we eventually got seated we waited over 40 minutes before we were brought drinks and 50 minutes for our starters. It was pretty tedious to be fair, fortunately the food was really good! Shame really, we stayed in the Indigo Glasgow which is where the restaurant is and that was an awesome experience! So was the bar, the cocktails were top notch!
We returned for the second year for the Festive Afternoon Tea and we weren’t disappointed. Mulled wine was lovely and warming, sandwiches delicious with lovely fillings, scones light and served with plenty jam and cream, however the cakes were a bit ‘samey’ and heavy. Would have preferred mini mince pies and some traditional Christmas cake but cannot complain as the Afternoon Tea was a lovely treat. We all enjoyed it. Staff were so welcoming and friendly especially Luis who served us at the table. We will certainly be back !
Menu was up to Marco Pierre White expectations. For a steakhouse, though, it was overwhelmingly disappointing that a rib steak ordered (explicitly and clearly) medium-rare arrived medium-to-well. The junior waitress was charming--but novice. She didn't even bother to ask how the steak was. The senior-on-site did come over after a while and before I even answered, he guessed that the steak was overdone! I was too hungry to fuss, and just ate it, regardless. Along with the overcooked french beans. The food was generally very tasty though. The ambiance is more like a hotel lobby bar (which it actually is in a way)--open, bad acoustics and a table layout that didn't feel right. All-in-all, it was a solid meal. But when I can cook a steak better myself it doesn't seem logical to splash out just for a headline chef name--I think Marco wouldn't be pleased.
Food was delicious and serving staff charming and friendly and obliging.
Too much strong mustard on the beef sandwich! Quiet in restaurant which was very nice. Waited a few minutes when we arrived to be seated, service afterwards was very good. Itison voucher, so very good value for money, nice festive treat!
Dining area pleasant however felt like you were eating in the hotel foyer. Some contemporary partitioning would do the trick.
Medium steak was ridiculously raw and fatty, chips barely cooked, no salt on table and no one came over to see how we were until the meal was finished, wouldnt recommend.
Lovely food and great sevice
Excellent food and staff. Nice ambiance. Definitely recommend.
We were the only people in for Sunday lunch. Menu was limited and it still took 40 minutes to bring two burgers.
Cracking overnight stay at Hotel Indigo, Glasgow. Staff were great, cocktails and dinner were amazing - will definitely be back!
We had a lovely afternoon with tapas meals & cocktails all good quality & staff amazing
We ate as part of the 'Steak-cation' deal. The steaks were beautifully cooked and well presented. The roasted-on-the-vine cherry tomatoes were amazing, and the house red, which came as part of the deal, was a lovely Chilean merlot. The service was excellent, despite the restaurant being quite busy. We would heartily recommend this restaurant.
I had an Itison voucher. He food was delicious, the restaurant itself is lovely. My only negative point was the white wine included in the deal was not at all to my taste so I had to order something else. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.
Lovely place, great food and drink will go back again ,..👍
Fantastic foodFantastic food and impeccable service. Have eaten out in a lot of restaurants in Glasgow and this is one of the best. Wednesday night is never really a good night for going out, nevertheless the service and the warmth we felt from the staff from when we arrived was fantastic. The food was outstanding, beautifully presented and cooked with a skill that you could taste. All the staff we had were extremely knowledgeable on the orders we asked for, from cuts of steak to the sommelier. Was expecting the restaurant to be a bit pretentious but the ambiance set by the staff felt extremely warm and welcoming. The only fault I struggle to find is that the steak knives could have been sharper.
food was very poor, 2 of us had steak pie and the "pastry" was paper thin and tasted like cardboard! How do you manage that Marco? oh and served with a big spoonful of peas, no potatoes, we ordered a side of fries and they never arrived! we had invited friends along and I was embarrassed ..
Food was excellent but the service was very slow which ruined the evening
Macaroni cheese was runny and steak tough very disappointing
Lovely meal with great service. Thanks
Been here a couple of times, food was very good & the staff where very good
