About Maggie Mays
Award winning live music venue, bar & kitchen.
Excellent customer service.
Only only one complaint was that one of the chicken burgers had more batter than chicken so was very dry but all in all good so won’t stop me coming back
Food good and enjoyed all 4 of our party
Staff are really friendly and helpfully even when it’s christmas time and they had a full house. Thanks for looking after us and we enjoyed the food and drinks very much. Hope to visit again soon.
Had a lovely lunch but did feel the house wine was a bit expensive
Good menu choice and tasty food
Nice food and good service.
Great value Wide choice of tasty burgers to suit every taste First class service No complaints Alastair Sinclair
Waitress didn’t use a pen and paper to take order- and got it wrong. Menu Needs a few more vegetarian options
Staff were great, really accommodating for me decorating our booths and fast service all night!
First time eating in here. Amazing atmosphere. No waiting about on food. The servers were amazing (can’t remember names) food was great, definitely eat and drink here again xxx
Great burgers with excellent 'fat' chips. skinny chips were also good but not as good as the 'fat' chips
The staff was very lovely and prices were reasonable. The food could be better, for example my Mac&cheese was to greasing.
Thought everything was great except for the football on all the TVs throughout the bar and restaurant. I thought you were a rock bar! There was hardly anyone watching the game, but the volume was high and we'd have much preferred some tunes.
Burgers were fab
Fast service Great meeting place for friends
It took 40 minutes for one starter of 6 bbq chicken wings to reach me. By the time our mains arrived we had 25 minutes to eat, pay & go to the Tron theatre to meet up with friends. We were all checking our watches which isn’t conducive to a relaxing night out. I actually had to leave my friends at the table 5 minutes early to go and collect our tickets. Good food & live music but slow service. It was very busy but no apologies given
great atmosphere, food and service, will definitely be back!
Small portions for what you pay, first server was a man with black nail polish he was so nice and really good af his job after that we had two girls who weren’t as nice
Great staff and great service. Food was excellent.
We were going to see Teenage Fanclub at the Barrowlands and Maggie Mays we’re playing the bands music as we are, nice touch 😀
Burger and soft drink deal There was a strong smell if disinfectant in this pub not ideal when you are eating also insufficient heating on a very cold day as it was a quiet Monday afternoon we wondered why we had to ask where our food was after 25 minutes we were told it would be another 5 mins and would we like more drinks ( no mention of them being complementary) only when my husband ordered a coke later he was told it was complementary when the food eventually arrived the burger and chips were ok the macaroni was tepid and the bun was rock solid at one side and there was no salt and pepper on the table and none offered we were nearly finished eating before anyone came to check if everything was ok and by then we could not be bothered waiting in the cold for however long it would take to rectify the problems want be back!
Excellent day out. Service and meal were brilliant. My other criticism would be that the toilets are in need of upgrading.
Unfortunately this won’t one of the worse meals I have went out for. I had a ‘the jam’ it was so greasy with over cooked chicken. My partner had a cheese burger which was tasteless. Would not be back.
Great service, great staff, had a lovely burger meal which was so big we took half home with us, would recommend to visit thank you
