Private Dining – The Private Dining Room at Mac & Wild Devonshire Square seats up to 22 people and is available to book for lunch, dinner and meetings - via [email protected] / 020 637 0510.
Sadly I can’t rate you as due to a faulty extractor fan you rang to cancel the booking I had to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Hopefully an opportunity will arise to sample your restaurant.
Great scottish restaurant. Lacked atmosphere a bit but I expect this is because it was a Friday in the city - it is probably heaving during the week!
There was no draft beer or bottled water on the evening we went, basics but missing... Great friendly service, original and tasty food. Will definitely go back.
Great team who took great care of us for our large group. The shooting range was a great bit of fun and the meat cookery was seriously strong!
Burger, haggis balls and mac n cheese was fab! And was as good as last time ! The server was super moody! And the lemonades taste like crappy tonic water...Otherwise lovely time.
Great experience but ignored by a staff member as i entered and waited at the front desk
Had a great dining experience at Mac and Wild, the staff we're really friendly and helpful when explaining the menu. The food was cooked perfectly, and the ambience was on point. We'll be back soon!
Hamish - what a guy! Made the whole evening even better. Thank you
Excellent atmosphere and great service, food was delicious and amazing cocktails, highly recommended!
Service was perhaps a little too attentive when we first arrived, 3 requests to take our order - different members of staff - but the food is top notch and the drinks selections are excellent.
Thank you for the amazing shot!
Service was outstanding, as was the food of course. Thanks for having us, already recommending to friends
The rib eye was excellent and all the sides. The venison was a let down
Nice, friendly, attentive staff but we did comment about how well trained they might or might not be! We we’re not offered wine and had to request it. When we chose some, there was no effort to show us the wine he’d brought to the table before offering a taste. This also meant the wine arrived during the main course and, only being opened then, hadn’t breathed enough even by we finished. Of course, the fire alarm meant we were evacuated...but these things happen. Nonetheless, we will be back. The venison (chateaubriand) was probably the best I have ever had the haggis Mac and cheese was a great twist too. Already recommended to several friends. Shame the SMWS are leaving downstairs. What are your plans for that space now?
Great birthday lunch. Great food, drink and service. Would definitely recommend!
Great friendly staff. Fantastic food! Even got a free gin tasting experience thrown in! We had a wonderful time at mac and wild and will be visiting again soon!
Delicious food as ever esp the venison chateaubriand & the haggis pops. Mix up with our order was handled really well & the removal of the cost of wine was a really nice thought and much appreciated
The meaty Monday offer was very good. The food was tasty and seasoned well. The mac and cheese was too dry. Service was slow and not attentive, but whenever we did get service, the lady that served us was very cheerful and was a good laugh.
Great service by the M&W team, food and drinks were top notch
Excellent meal and service once again. Shame they had no Merlot left but can't have it all!
The food was really good, but service was slow (30 minutes for my main courses), inattentive (asked twice for a jug of tap water) and the staff was totally not confident with the situation.. A pity for such a good food..
Food was excellent, but not cheap. Restaurant was largely empty, which meant atmosphere was poor, and yet service was really slow. We had to keep asking waiters to come take our order, even though the restaurant was very quiet. Took a while even to get a drink before ordering food.
Hello, sadly just want to complain about the service in your Devonshire Square branch last night, we were really looking forward to dinner as the menu looks great but it took forever to get served while the staff were all chatting in the corner then the waiter asked my boyfriend what he wanted to drink but walked off without asking me and then the drink didn’t come so we felt like we had no choice but to leave. Really disappointing!
The staff were fantastic
