Really nice food. Arrogant & unhelpful staff.
Food and drinks were tasty and nice setting. But service was poor, had to wait a long time to be seen to and staff were short. Some options on the set menu weren't available and you had to order any sides separately.
We had a private meeting in the Gun Room followed by lunch in the restaurant. The meeting room is good and we were well looked after. The food at lunch was generally very good. The only downside for our party (relatively elderly) was that the restaurant was too noisy to be able to enjoy a chat with the food. The party on the table next to us was prosecco-fuelled and very boisterous.
Friendly and informative staff and great food!
Excellent Food and Drink in a great environment. Devonshire Square is very convenient and an atmospheric setting both at evening and lunch.
Great service and food. Would highly recommend!
Really great food, amazing value, staff were very pleasant and we loved our meal.
Epic food, and the cocktails are the best I have had. Will definitely be returning!
One of the best bottomless brunch’s I’ve ever done! Brilliant atmosphere and great service!
Lovely food, atmosphere and service. Would definitely come back.
Delicious Food and good services.
It would be great to have been told before deciding to order that the Venison was not available. There was 3 opportunities. Nice atmosphere, good service.
The food was amazing, and the service was excellent. The one let down was the use of wooden boards to serve steaks on. This makes no sense for a steak, and it ends up with blood spilling off the board, and onto the table.
Food was good, reasonably priced (Haggis Mac & Cheese was heaven). Atmosphere was nice and lively for a Monday evening which was great to see. The restaurant itself is very nicely designed. Service was great to start with, but after we had finished we waited for around 20 minutes to be able to pay the bill. Would definitely go again.
The Butchers Cuts are reasonable value at half price on Mondays, I'm not sure I'd pay normal pricing - although the food quality is very good. Also the Venison topside wasn't available, only leaving the Butchers Cuts as a deer option. Staff were excellent, helpful and attentive.
When we arrived our table was still taken with people paying. They were very apologetic and sent us to wait at the bar which we didn’t mind. Also for pudding I couldn’t have anything on the menu so they made me up a variety of ice creams which was a nice touch. Finally their knowledge of the meat cuts size and taste made for an easy order
The restaurant was great and the food was very good but the service was poor - we had to go and find someone to get us drinks on arrival and again when we wanted to order our food - a shame as we had a great afternoon but that definitely let it down
Great food, friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, good value.. will be back!
Great service and lovely food
It’s a small thing but I didn’t ask for bacon on my sundae and it was just added. Bacon has no place being on a sundae! Other than that it was a very nice experience- lovely food, quality meats and nice brunch cocktails- and I would definitely recommend!
The staff were friendly, the food excellent and I can’t wait to go back again !
Great food and a vibrant atmosphere, especially for middle of the week. We used a tastecard so the food was 50% off but been before and paid full price and still don't think that's a bad deal. The steak is up there with the best in London. Highlandly recommended!
Really lovely evening. They did a wonderful candle and cake for my wife’s birthday.
