I was so looking forward to our meal, which was greasy undercooked and awful, my five year olds burger was raw, we asked for our steaks to be cooked medium and they were blue, hardly cooked at all, the sanitary bin in the toilet was overflowing and the dehumidifier in the toilet had all sorts of stains etc on it, it needed a deep clean, this was a build up of dirt from a long time, the menu prices were confusing and not one of us out of the party of 9 enjoyed our meal, the service was pretty slow too and then we were charge £600.00 , we would have got a nicer meal from Macdonalds and saved 550.00 , we will not be back and we certainly wouldn't recommend , also think all of us will be posting this same review on trip advisor
Service wasn't good at all. Maybe due to COVID 19, but the restaurant wasnt full.
The service were great for the bottomless brunch
Food was lovely, staff were lovely, will definitely be going back and will be recommending to friends and family.
Great cocktails. Lower East Side with Irn Bru is a winner! Refreshing too. Almost like a whisky spritzer. Kerr’s Gin Berries is also super. Full of flavour. As for the chateaubriand, well it was cooked to perfection! Will be back soon! Delightful staff, keen to engage and great humour. All in all, delightful.
The venison steak was amazing and I've already recommended Mac and Wild to many friends. It's also refreshing to go somewhere that will cook rare steaks. The only issue for us was slow service but that was only because I had somewhere to go after I left. I can't wait to come back!
Had a wonderful first experience here, atmosphere was lovely. And service was first class Will be going back !
Very friendly staff and good service throughout. “Food & Drink” would have been 5* but three of the favoured red wines were not available. Great places to go and I would definitely go back.
Thanks for a good night
Had a lovely meal here - it was quiet being 5.30 but then got very busy! Really appreciated the service - the manager really went out of his way to look after us. Just wish I got the haggis mac and cheese...
Thoroughly enjoyed our meal, service was excellent and one of the best cocktails I have had.
Great food and a really good atmosphere. The service could be better, but the good made up for it
Great place, like it a lot. I would perhaps suggest that a wine/ booze package to accompany group booking would be useful.
We booked a table after much research online and deciding upon Mac and wild for it's Scottish connections, we recently had some deliciius door for burns night and felt inspired!! First of all the service we recieved was faultless, our waiter was attentive, friendly and funny! Unfortunately my party and I were very disappointed with the majority of food. The truffle Mac and cheese we ordered for the table was amazing and my friend was very happy with her avocado and poached eggs. However two of the table ordered breakfast burgers and I ordered the Venimoo. We were inspired to order burgers after looking at your IG feed and seeing how delicious they looked. I will focus my review on the Venimoo as it's the one I actually ate though the feedback on the breakfast burger was very similar. It was dry and lacked flavour, the IG pictures show a juicy looking burger with the patties and cheese visible at the sides of the burger. The patties I received were dry, shrivelled and smaller than the bun with a single slice of unmelted plastic cheese. I informed our waiter that we were pleased with some elements and disappointed with others and he assured us he would inform the chef, though we did not receive any further feedback. We were excited to try out Mac and wild and loved a few dishes but ultimately wouldn't return or recommend to friends.
Most amazing burger ever!
The meat was cut so unevern some parts were barely cooked. Every drink we ordered tastes like perfume even the beer! As well as paying £52 for the meal i then had to pay another £32 for 2 drinks and a small bowl of chips!
The food was very tasty. The service was friendly and helpful.
Lovely food in a brilliant atmosphere
Meat was amazing and like coming back here
Food was exemplary and the drinks were great. Every dish is priced quite dearly though and may put people off from visiting, but the Monday offer of half price meat did soften the blow.
Me and my Niece had a lovely time at MAC and Wild restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere also the music was great. Our food was delicious also the restaurant has a vegetarian and vegan meals wit so many options to ask for. The service was excellent as they came to see or ask if everything was doing okay. Sam was very kind and did a good attention to us. We recommend you for a good restaurant and a good meal go to MAC &Wild. Thank You Andy
Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Mac and Wild. Would definitely recommend it.
Good, tasty food and drinks reasonably priced for Sunday lunch in central London. Atmosphere on Sunday was muted. On balance the service felt a little underwhelming; somewhat slow in taking orders and not really engaged.
