Group bookings welcome.
Great service. The Ribeye was extraordinary. But at £58 it is at the high-end on price. The much more affordable burgers looked wonderful. Perfect chips and fantastic marrow bone sauce.
The level of service we received from the General Manager - right from first welcome through to paying the bill - exceeded all expectations. Philippa was very attentive without ever being intrusive. Additionally, she was very friendly and knowledgeable. My friends and I were made to feel very welcome and would certainly recommend dining here to any one. The food and drinks were top rate too - particularly the haggis bites!
Service bit slow and waitress was confused.
Great afternoon and well looked after by the team!
Thank you for an utterly superb evening. The service was incredibly friendly and professional. The chateaubriand was, without doubt, the best I have ever eaten. I will not only highly recommend you to others but will definitely be coming back myself.
Fantastic service and brilliant food. It was a pleasure for me and my fiancée spending our valentines night with the Mac & Wild team. Would recommend highly.
My girlfriend and I love this place and have some very fond memories here, not least for the unique and delicious selection of food! This was our second visit - the haggis pops and deep fried mars bar sundae were amazing! My Venimoo burger and truffle mac'n'cheese were lukewarm but still tasted great. 100% worth a try!
The food was great, we asked for recommendations for what to eat and portion sizes, and everything was just perfect. The service was excellent, everyone was attentive and friendly but not intrusive, we've had a wonderful evening! Thank you team :)
Great food! first time trying venison
Great service - Philippa in particular really stood out with her friendliness.
We were served by the manager, who very quickly and with great style, sorted out an initial problem with where we were seated. It was my husband’s birthday and we were made very welcome, amazing service and excellent food. I was with my husband, daughters and son-in-law. We had a very nice evening and would certainly go again. Venison Chateaubriand was just delicious, as was everything else. Thank you.
The vegan burger was nice but didn’t seem to have the vegan cheese fondue. Therefore it was a bit dry. It was very overpriced and the chips cost extra.
We came to your Fitzrovia branch for a client lunch on 6th Feb, with a big table of 12 people. There was only 1 waiter to serve the downstairs area of the restaurant, he was attentive, thoughtful and made the whole lunch fun and enjoyable. The food was amazing, the service even better. We can't wait to return.
Excellent food and service!
Very nice experience. Def go back!
Bottomless brunch is great value for money
Brilliant food, friendly informed service and great atmosphere.
Great spot, lovely food and a great bottomless that actually has cocktails not just Prosecco for once!
I am glad we could dine on 1st floor. Basement feels too much like a basement, could you make it lighter? I will definitely recommend! Thanks
We had the sharing platter that costs £65 per person. Took about an hour to arrive. Stone cold venison. Over boiled lobster. Sauce had long since congealed. We never usually complain but given the hefty price tag we felt we had to. When complimentary drinks didn’t cut it, the Manager reluctantly agreed to not charge us for the meal. He has my thanks for that, but we won’t be going back. Unfortunately a bad birthday experience (I should note that to their credit, all staff except the manager were very understanding and friendly).
Excellent food as ever. I would like to comment about the volume of the music however as, on this occasion, my visit was a business lunch. We were seated downstairs where initially the music was such that we were unable to converse. I did mention this to our server who was happy to address this and turned it down so only a minor point. Otherwise, great!
I put 5* for value because my other half and I utilised 50% off food with a taste card. I think regardless it would still be great value.
I went to celebrate my brothers 30th, Alex the waiter was amazing he was so funny and really made the night for us! The food was great!
An excellent evening
