Group bookings welcome.
We were really looking forward to going here but through a combination of overly salted (chips), overly sweet (too much caramelised onions on burger) and greasy food (burger patties) coupled with the wait staff disappearing and even originally giving us the wrong menu; I cant really recommend it based off of our initial experience.
Absolutely wonderful evening! We booked for my friends birthday and had a great time. Food and service were spot on and lovely wine was recommended to us
Delicious food, friendly service.
The food was absolutely delicious, the haggis Mac & cheese and steak being the highlights. The food did take some time to come out and our drinks were forgotten. However, once noticed the team comped the drinks from the bill. Customer service done right! On a normal night, I’m sure the atmosphere would be very cosy and intimate - perfect for a date. However, on this evening there was a work Christmas party going on. Of course this could not be helped by the restaurant but it did make it extremely noisy at times. Would recommend the whisky affogato and the smoked whisky flight.
We had a lovely work Christmas lunch and all the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would personally like to say thank you as I organised it for my company and as it went so well. I got praised for picking a great venue.
we had a great lunch incl. the haggis pops, venison burger, venison and beef special cuts - all wonderful. the white negroni version was very nice. and the white sweet wine and the spanish red - both from the parents of one waiter - were outstanding. top dessert as well. but if we had to pay the regular price (it was meaty monday, so 50% off the butcher cuts), well, a bit too much for lunch on a monday ;-) anyway, we´ll be back!
Fun atmosphere and delicious food!
We were a party of 9, celebrating my brothers wedding. The food was excellent and the venue itself was great. Looking forward to visiting again
Music was way too loud, turning any conversation into a shouting match. The beef chateaubriand was rubbery, dry, chewy and though.
Very good food service also very good would recommend highly to anyone
Brilliant atmosphere and lovely Scottish food
I had really high hopes for this place as a couple of people had recommended it to me. However I thought the service was indifferent - it seemed like our waiter couldn’t get away from our table fast enough; and the food was quite average.... I had the Christmas burger - both the stuffing and the beef patty were dry and didn’t have much flavour, and there was way too much onion relish which completely dominated everything. I’m not normally someone who leaves negative reviews so feel bad doing this - but I really hope it helps Mac & Wild to improve their restaurant experience!
My third or fourth time at Mac & Wild and it never disappoints. Ribeye steak was amazing
Best Venison Steak you'll find in London!
Excellent from start to finish. Warm welcome; superb haggis, beef and venison; great options for the vegetarian in our party; brilliantly unhealthy desserts; and fun flights of whisky. Can't wait to return.
Hello ! It was a decent meal, can’t complain too much as we had 50% off food with code app. ( the perks of being in hospitality) We had the wee tasting board to start, all very flavoursome and hot. I had a burger and my friend had a venison top side. It was slightly more med well than the med rare we’d asked for but no drama they swapped it out for us and all happy. The Mac and cheese was really good as well. Thank you to the team and everyone involved, we had a lovely evening
Amazing food and drink. Haggis pops in particular stood out, but everything we tried was excellent. Staff was pleasant and attentive. Will return when we are visiting London again.
Best steak I've had!
Amazing food and service. Would be nice to have a few more options for drinks on the bottomless brunch though.
Great service, food and drink. Couldn't fault a thing! Thank you!
Staff were very attentive which was nice. Food was slightly below expectation - mainly because it seemed to always be a bit cold. The sticky toffee pudding was luke warm at best and the roast we had was just warm. Bit of a shame, as the staff were great - just let down by the kitchen. Because we went Sunday and it was 330, felt like it was being rushed to get everyone out for 4.
The service was really poor it was almost as if the staff didn’t want to be there! The waitress did not make an effort to be friendly and had to ask for the bill a couple of times, even though the place was almost empty as it was towards the end of the night.
