We are a smaller version of our famous big sister, Lunya, although we have 90 covers inside and 30 covers on our glorious sun terrace, so we are not that small. Serving breakfast (classic Spanish breakfasts and modern British and European ones too. At lunch, thin over-stuffed sandwiches, large deli platters, huevos rotos (posh Spanish egg & chips), lhealthy salads, a daily changing large bowl stew and daily changing soups. In the evening, we go for our relaxed vibe of the best tapas you will find with ever changing fresh daily specials.
We are in a superb location next to the Beatles Story, overlooking the dock on one side and the big wheel on the other. Upstairs, we have a fabulous champagne terrace where you can graze and watch life on the dock.
We are on two floors with a staircase leading to the first floor. Toilets are on the first floor. Our guests have access to Albert Dock's disabled toilets which are about a 20 metre walk, under cover in the colonnade
Great food in a great place with fantastic views.
Having been to lunya on hannover street I was looking forward to lunyalita located on the Albert dock. We arrived and was immediately greeted and shown to our seats. I liked the atmospshere and the overall design incoporating luynas style with the aesthetics of the albert dock. Overall the meal was okay but we had a 25 min wait for our last 2 tapas dishes. This kinda ruined it for me as we had already had 3 tapas and then to wait another 25 mins ruined the tapas experience. This all being said we ordered the food at the same time. I enjoy lunya and would like to go again just this time in particular wasn't worth the money.
Superb service and great food. As always
Though the group tapas prices expensive pet person. And not able to choose what we wanted
More relaxed version of its big sister. Good selection of tapas but don't forget to check out the daily specials.
Outstanding and can’t wait to come back soon
Except for the fact that the sun was setting over Albert Dock - and what a beautiful sight that is - one really could have been in Spain. Everything was perfect from the 'no hassle' online booking and reminder service through to the very pleasant evening with friends. We'll definitely be back!
An enjoyable meal with good wine and service. Maybe more almonds in the almond tart.
Always love visiting Lunya, first time we've been to Lunyalita, really liovely staff, very welcoming and helpful and love the truly Spanish atmosphere. Will definitely visit again.
Very pleasant lunch, good food, very friendly and helpful staff. Good location looking over the dock. Would happily return and recommend to others.
We had lunch on Friday 3rd August. Food was tasty and great presentation. One of our party wanted gluten free sandwich, this was no problem . Would go again.
The service was very slow and haphazard and the food wasn't very good. The lunchtime menu is too limiting and would have preferred the tapas menu which isn't available until 5 pm which seems very odd.
Beautiful views across The Royal Albert Dock, lovely staff, a nice atmosphere with a mixture of age groups. The food as always was beautifully presented, delicious, accompanied by a nice Spanish tempranillo (not overpriced at £16.95 ). My only gripe would be the Fideua, which at £16.95 pp with a min of 2 people was not worth the money, small portion, not enough seafood and very very dry, also the bread with allioli was served as three half slices of bread with the allioli already on the bread, not as you would imagine separate with a nice bowl of allioli, at least serve four half slices per portion, then two people sharing wouldn't have to fight over the last piece !! Ending on a high note you must try the Spanish black pudding, the mackeral ,pickled garlic, cheese platter, tortilla and the nicest scallops I have ever eaten. All in all a great night was had by everyone in our part of 6 and I cant wait for our next visit.
friendly staff, delicious food.
Unfortunately I suffered with an episode of food poisoning from a meat and cheese platter consumed at Lunyalita on Saturday 28 July. The food arrived remarkably soon after placing the order, so I can only guess it had been pre-prepared and contaminated as a result of being left hanging around in the kitchen for too long.
Felt that the portions were quite small and expensive
Lovely location Friendly and helpful staff - from bar staff to waitress to management And the same quality food and drink as the original - although the specials may be even better!
Had a really lovely lunch and relaxing few hours. Even though it's new, it felt like it had always been there. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming like old friends. Will be back soon
Everything was perfect
Will definitely return
I cannot fault my experience at this restaurant. The service, ambience and food surpassed my expectations. Location was superb and I thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon/evening. Huge thanks to all the staff for making my birthday a memorable occasion. Definitely will be back. Thank you xx
Sat upstairs and to be honest it was a bit, there was a bit of confusion as to when we wanted our drinks and then they brought the starter with the main meal. Other than that food was good and overall a really nice night.
I booked Brunch to celebrate my daughters 40th Birthday for ten girls. We had a table upstairs and straight from the start, the service was excellent. Our waiter Mikey, introduced himself to us, and couldn’t do enough. We will definitely be back soon. Thanks very much
Very impressed with charming and friendly staff - food great too. Also wonderful location.
First visit to ‘the little one’ Some great team members, all polite and engaging Food great (no brainer for you guys) You’ve got a super location there too. Wishing you all much success
