We are a smaller version of our famous big sister, Lunya, although we have 90 covers inside and 30 covers on our glorious sun terrace, so we are not that small. Serving breakfast (classic Spanish breakfasts and modern British and European ones too. At lunch, thin over-stuffed sandwiches, large deli platters, huevos rotos (posh Spanish egg & chips), lhealthy salads, a daily changing large bowl stew and daily changing soups. In the evening, we go for our relaxed vibe of the best tapas you will find with ever changing fresh daily specials.
We are in a superb location next to the Beatles Story, overlooking the dock on one side and the big wheel on the other. Upstairs, we have a fabulous champagne terrace where you can graze and watch life on the dock.
We are on two floors with a staircase leading to the first floor. Toilets are on the first floor. Our guests have access to Albert Dock's disabled toilets which are about a 20 metre walk, under cover in the colonnade
Made a reservation due to a visit to a show at the Echo Arena. Booked for two but when two friends joined us the restaurant staff very kindly found us a table for 4. The service was excellent and the food delicious and the price excellent. Will definitely be visiting again when visiting Albert Dock.
Lovely food, great atmosphere and really lovely staff.
Too busy I’m afraid and food not as good as expected. Won’t be back 🙁
Service was excellent. Staff were friendly. Food was great.
Not enough staff for such a busy location. Had to chase for drinks several times and the food was frankly really poor value for money. Embarrassing as I had customers present. Never again.
Usual excellent food that you would expect from Lunya but the staff were overwhelmed as it was busy. More staff are required but the others working there on Saturday did their very best.
Our waitress was fantastic.
A bit disappointed sadly. I go frequently to big Lunya and love it. Food and service is always outstanding. So was looking forward to trying lunyalita with my friends before a gig in the echo arena. Unfortunately I think you may have had some problems with being short staffed as we were seated for over an hour before anyone came and took our order and we were not the only ones. All credit to the 2 serving staff that were working as they were doing their best but the restaurant was full and they were obviously stretched. Food was good when it came but we then waited for a long time for some of our tapas to arrive and couldn’t get anyone’s attention to get another drink as they were so run off their feet. I would return as I am hoping it’s just a small staffing glitch but I’m giving feedback so you are aware of the issues as I would hate people to have this as a lasting impression of Lunyalita as I love the big one.
Fantastic food and drink as ever, great service and lovely chilled feel in there.
We went at night and sat upstairs overlooking the views of the Albert Dock at night with all the reflecting lights. The setting and food was lovely.
Very nice food all freshly prepared and explained at the table. Lovely location, we'll be going again.
Lovely food and great service. We had the inclusive breakfast deal which was good value and plenty of food.
Lovely restaurant, friendly staff and great food. We will definitely return. However, on the night we had a few problems with service. We were a party of 4 and had a reservation under my name. My husband and I arrived first and were shown to a table upstairs. Apparently our friends arrived only a few minutes later and were told we had not arrived and so waited downstairs for us. After about 20 minutes, they decided to have a check upstairs themselves and found us. This was a shame as we were attending a concert at the Arena and it meant we were very rushed. There were also a few issues with timings of food not coming out of the kitchen together.
The food was just incredible and the staff were so friendly, couldn’t have been a nicer meal
Great food in a fab location overlooking the dock, staff really friendly and just as good as Lunya we will be back
The service and food were fantastic. We came to take advantage of the Tapas banquet offer with a free bottle of wine. This was really nice but we were disappointed to see on our bill that the deal wasn’t quite what we had expected- we paid the price of the banquet each when we thought it would be between us. This made us feel that the bottle of wine wasn’t really free and is the reason for the lower value for money rating above.
Waiter was excellent
There was a lovely young lady with light red hair and glasses who served me and my sister before our wine tasting (and was around during too) who was lovely chat and seemed to really care about our night as well as the other diners’. I’m a waitress myself, and really admired her charisma and politeness. Thank you!
The wine tasting was a very enjoyable evening indeed!
A really great evening of wine tasting that way exceeded our expectations. Superb, accessible wines and tasty tapas. Looking forward to the next one.
Great evening at the wine tasting, would recommend.
We had a lovely dinner with friends after the ‘River of Light’ display. We were staying at nearby hotel and popped into the deli the next morning to pick up a few things. Special thanks to Ferran for the great service and for sharing memories of all things Valencian!
4th time @ lunyalita, tried the banquet....everything was delicious! Will be back soon!
