We are a smaller version of our famous big sister, Lunya, although we have 90 covers inside and 30 covers on our glorious sun terrace, so we are not that small. Serving breakfast (classic Spanish breakfasts and modern British and European ones too. At lunch, thin over-stuffed sandwiches, large deli platters, huevos rotos (posh Spanish egg & chips), lhealthy salads, a daily changing large bowl stew and daily changing soups. In the evening, we go for our relaxed vibe of the best tapas you will find with ever changing fresh daily specials.
We are in a superb location next to the Beatles Story, overlooking the dock on one side and the big wheel on the other. Upstairs, we have a fabulous champagne terrace where you can graze and watch life on the dock.
We are on two floors with a staircase leading to the first floor. Toilets are on the first floor. Our guests have access to Albert Dock's disabled toilets which are about a 20 metre walk, under cover in the colonnade
The food arrived over a long period of time instead of all together. It wasn’t that busy so I was expecting my dishes at the same time. The beer wasn’t that cold so we had to ask for ice to chill it further on both occasions. Sone of the menu choices were unavailable. It was disappointing as we have eaten in Lunya before and always had a great experience. The service was good but the restaurant was very cold as both doors were open so it was quite draughty. Nowhere near the atmosphere of Lunya.
We had a lovely time at Lunyalita. The service was good, the food was lovely and the setting impressive. As first time visitors to Liverpool our first night in the city was one to remember for all the right reasons.
Lovely birthday meal before going to the theatre.
Great evening, very informative yet informal. Fab service, lovely cheese and accompaniments, well recommended!
We were very well looked after by this lovely team - food, drink, service and atmosphere was just what we wanted and expected really given we are frequent dinners at Lunya and always enjoy ourselves there. Wishing you all continued success.
Food very good, staff were efficient and helpful m. Only one issue we were sat in between a table that were wine tasting and another large group and it was very noisy which did spoil it a bit.
Staff are a credit We were served by Karlene and Steven who were both excellent. Drinks and food were excellent and good to see owners in the restaurant too.
Love the new dinky Lunya! My second visit. Fab xxx
This is my 4th visit and i have to say that the food and service has been consistanly great. With a great view from the 1st floor its a real treat to visit!
Food was poor. I've had some good food at the original Lunya but not here. Tomato bread was nice but the egg and chips was only ok AND £10. Lasagne was bang average with no discernible smoked flavour as advertised. Paella was shocking. Badly burnt on the bottom and left a disgusting acrid taste in the mouth. We complained and was told since we'd eaten half we'd need to pay for it. We had to eat half to get to nasty burnt section!! The nice waitress did come back and concede it wasnt right and they eventually knocked off half the cost of the paella. But the bill was £120 and simply not worth half that. Will not be returning or going to any other Lunyas again.
My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed the evening.
Really friendly and attentive staff and great food as always
Such a wonderful restaurant. The food is amazing, sometimes you can worry that you won't eat enough when going for tapas but there we're 18 of us sharing and we had so much left over! the service is always brilliant and the staff are extremely accommodating. I would highly recommend for all occasions.
We had a wonderful meal at Lunyalita. The staff were really attentive, the food was delicious and we couldn’t have asked for more. We will definitely be back.
Staff could not have been more helpful. I booked a table for 6, we were able to go in and order our food ready for a certain time as we were on a limited lunchtime due to a conference. At the conference, we met others who wanted to join us and this was no problem when we turned up - staff moved a few tables and we were able to all sit together. The food was delicious and of a high standard, which was no surprise after visiting Lunya on many occasion. A great location and atmosphere. I will definitely be back!
friendly service, delicious food
Loved it! Atmosphere more like the old Lunya. Stopped going as I think the new Luna lacks the intimate feel the old one did to perfection!
Lovely people, great food
Great food in a great place with fantastic views.
Having been to lunya on hannover street I was looking forward to lunyalita located on the Albert dock. We arrived and was immediately greeted and shown to our seats. I liked the atmospshere and the overall design incoporating luynas style with the aesthetics of the albert dock. Overall the meal was okay but we had a 25 min wait for our last 2 tapas dishes. This kinda ruined it for me as we had already had 3 tapas and then to wait another 25 mins ruined the tapas experience. This all being said we ordered the food at the same time. I enjoy lunya and would like to go again just this time in particular wasn't worth the money.
Superb service and great food. As always
Though the group tapas prices expensive pet person. And not able to choose what we wanted
More relaxed version of its big sister. Good selection of tapas but don't forget to check out the daily specials.
Outstanding and can’t wait to come back soon
Except for the fact that the sun was setting over Albert Dock - and what a beautiful sight that is - one really could have been in Spain. Everything was perfect from the 'no hassle' online booking and reminder service through to the very pleasant evening with friends. We'll definitely be back!
